"Y/n wait up!"
I turned my head away from the opening elevator doors and saw Natasha running towards me, her hair bouncing on her shoulders. I gulped and stuffed my hands in my pockets, glad to be out of my suit.
"H-hey," I cleared my throat, "Hey Natasha."
My eyes drifted down ever so slightly to see her plump lips curve up into a small smile.
"I just wanted to say thank you, for saving my life today." Nat smiled, her pearly white teeth glimmering in the streaming sun.
"Oh that," I waved it off, "It was no big deal. You look amazing in a lot of things but I don't think a giant boulder is really your style." I joked.
Natasha giggled at my bad attempt to be funny, "Still, thank you."
"You're welcome." I whispered softly. My breath hitched in my throat as she ran her pale fingers through her silky red locks.
"I miss you." I blurted out, my cheeks suddenly began to feel hot.
"I-"
"Y/n!" Maria shouted loudly, her footsteps were heavy as she ran towards Natasha and I. I clenched my jaw because I was so desperate to hear what Natasha had to say to me.
"What?" I couldn't help but growl.
"Shocker escaped. He broke into the city bank. If you leave now you'll be able to catch him." Maria explained, panting lightly from running long distance.
"Another one?" I sighed heavily.
"Here's your suit, Tony patched it up for you." The agent tossed me my black suit.
"I'm coming with you." Natasha Said, turning her body towards me.
"Natasha-"
"You need to leave. Now!" Agent Hill Said.
"I'm going, I'm going." I glanced at the brunette before quickly putting on my suit. I ran over to one of the windows and pulled it open quickly.
"I'm going with you." The red head stood beside me.
"Then you better hang on tight." I smirked at her behind the mask before lifting her up with one arm, tossing our bodies out of the window.

I felt her fingers dig into my suit as she held onto me tightly, the wind rushing through her fiery locks and into her face. I'll admit I was enjoying having the Avenger in my arms once more, her body providing warmth and comfort. But then I felt disgusted with myself and unworthy to even have her in my arms after what I put her through. Maybe if I wasn't so stubborn and put my work before her, then we'd still be together.
I landed on the hot street and gently set Natasha on her feet. I could hear her release a shaky breath before running her fingers through her messy hair. Both of us jogged towards the front of the bank that had bricks littered all around it. There were police cars surrounding the front, too.
I rolled my shoulders back before stepping into the crumbling bank. "Wait here. I'll call you when it's clear." I told Nat.
Quickly I turned around and webbed Natasha's hand to the bricks next to her, webbing up to the ceiling.
"Oh fuck you!" Nat yelled at me. I chuckled to myself and shook my head. God do I love that woman.
I spun myself down and faced Shocker just as he turned around with heavy bank bags filled with cash.
"Hello Herman." I waved sarcastically at the man strapped in his metal battle suit. "You know I'm pretty sure this violates your parole." I front flipped onto the floor and began walking towards the villain.
"You have no business in this, Spider-Girl." He spat.
"It's woman, actually. I'm offended, Herman, I thought we were friends." I feigned being hurt, now face to face with Shocker in the ginormous vault.
"Just let me go!" He dropped the bank bags and swung at me, I dodged under it with ease. Launching myself in the air I karate kicked him in the face, landing and using my webs to slam the vault door shut.
"Welp," I shrugged, "Looks like we're stuck here. Now, how about I be your life coach and you can start making the right decisions."

"Alright Spider-Girl, you can start by getting me out. Of. Here."
I let out a oof when he threw the heavy bank bags at my chest before powering up his suit and blasting me through the vault door, my head slamming against the metal and my vision went blurry.
Shocker stepped out of the gigantic hole he just made in the wall and began heating up his suit once more. Thinking as quickly as I could with my head throbbing, I swung the bank bags at him, putting him in a daze. I shot a web at him and used that to launch myself towards his body, slamming my fist down against his metal helmet.
"Why do you need this money, Herman!?" I grunted, punching him in the head again.
"This isn't your business, spider!" Herman spat, sending me flying with a blast of shock waves.
"When I put you behind bars we are so talking science." I chuckled to myself.
[...]
"You really think webbing me to the building would be funny!?" An angry Natasha stormed into the room where I was still fighting Shocker. He was a lot stronger than the last time I fought him. My bones felt so achy and tired, like they'd break under the slightest bit of pressure.
"I said you can come, not fight." I heaved, using my webs to bring down a part of the gorgeous chandelier on the ceiling. Like how extra was this bank?
"Well I didn't ask for your permission." Nat sassed, pulling out her pistol from the holster around her thigh.
"Well since you're here, distract him for a sec. Thanks!"
I swung over to the other side of the chandelier before gripping the golden chain in my fist, pulling it straight out of the ceiling. The chandelier creaked and swung at my actions, falling down when I broke the last chain. I jumped down and pulled Natasha out of the way just in time for the golden chandelier to come crashing down on Shocker, pinning his body down.
"How many times do I have to save you?" I teased, helping the redhead to her feet.
"Who said I needed saving?" She smirked at me before walking towards the bank entrance, swaying her hips.
"Fuck me." I mumbled before catching up to her, well more like limping anyway. I need a vacation.
[...]
"Why would Shocker be stealing money?" Fury asked me.
"I don't-Ah!" I winced when Nat shoved the needle through one of the cuts on my forehead without warning.
"I don't know. Maybe he's connected to the others that escaped."
"The others are off the grid, nothing is picking them up. Tony's working on the satellite now, says he has a bigger brain than Bruce." Fury told me.
"Well y/n isn't going to be looking for them. She has a concussion and other injuries. She needs her rest. The others can go hunt down these guys." Natasha said in a serious tone, I could already tell one of her eyebrows was raised in a challenging way.
"Okay, fine." Fury shrugged, "Rest."
I watched Fury and Agent Hill walk out of the medical wing, leaving Natasha and I alone.
"Thank you for stitching me up, I-"
"I miss you too." The avenger said quickly I almost didn't catch what she said.
My eyebrows raised in shock as my mouth kept opening and closing like a fish. I was dumbfounded.
"But, I think this separation might do us some good. I'm not saying I don't want to be with you, I'm just saying that I need to know that you're with me. That I can count on you and not have you neck deep in your science projects. I'm important too." Tasha explained passionately.
"You're right, and I should be making you feel important and wanted and I'm sorry I never did. I'm going to fight for you, Tasha. You're too important to me."
