-(Reader)-
"Uh Armendez-san?"
"Yea..."
"What's with the.... Sudden look?" He questions. I forgot I had make up on. So it turned out that I took some advice from the Succubus class and decided to add some make up. It's not heavy duty make up, more like light blush, basic lipstick, and a hint of mascara along with a dash of eyeliner. I got many stare's in the morning, some were guys drooling their heading off while girls whispering about what the heck was wrong with me. I honestly didn't really care what they thought of me. "Well, I kinda wanted to change my look a bit." I said.
"Is (Reader)-chan doing this for Eggie-sensei?" Clara question childishly. I instantly got super flustered, and covered my face with embarrassment. "No! It's not like that all!" I muffled.
After that embarrassing moment, through out the whole day Clara has been doing very weird, yet concerning thing. She first off doing a weird pose that she considers to be a "sexy pose". Next, she wears very heavy duty make up to class and puts on an immense amount of perfume which lead to not smell good, but to smelling so bad. She really is trying to win Iruma's heart so badly. Walking around the halls, I noticed a couple of girls were looking at me and gave whispers while doing so. "Is there something you need?"
"What do you got on your face?" One girl asked with disgust. "Uh, makeup. What do you think it was?" One girl sneered,"Oh really! I thought it was clown makeup!" They all began to laugh hysterically at me. I just sighed and left. "Hey! Where do you think your going?!" One of them shouted. "Away from you! I don't want to deal with this crap!" I snapped. That's when one of the girls got a bucket filled with water, then threw it at me. "Now that's a clown right there!" They continue to laugh as I stood there drenched. My make up was completely ruined and my clothes were all wet. Things couldn't possibly get any worse."Silence!" I stand corrected.
I hesitantly turned to see Kalego-Sensei a few feet away from me. "What in the world is going on here?" He asked in his usual intimidating tone. Out of all the demons, why did it had to be him. I noticed the girls who did this to me ran off. Talk about being a total wimp. "What happen here? Why are you all drenched?"

"*Sigh* Some girls thought it would be funny to get me wet. Not only that my clothes are wet and my makeup is ruined." I complain. Kalego-sensei sighed. "Come on, let's get you to the nurse's office to see if they have any dry clothes for you."
Kalego-Sensei took me to the nurse's office, luckily they had at least gym clothes which wasn't so entirely bad. I used a damp towel to wash off my smudge face, then I placed my wet clothes in a bag to take home. Walking out, I saw Sensei was actually waiting for me. "Aren't you going to leave yet, Sensei?" I questioned.
He shook his head. "Not quite... Can I have word with you Armendez?"
"Sure."
We walked over to his classroom, luckily it was empty since it was after school already. "What is that you wanted talk about, Kalego-sensei?"
"You see, I've noticed you've been a little off lately. And I noticed you were makeup today and I know you well by now that you would never do this kind of thing. Is there something wrong?"
Crap! Is he onto me?! The least thing I wanted him to ask about. "Well.... you see..." He looks at me concernedly. "*Sigh* I have feelings for someone, so I decided to wear makeup and see if he would notice how I look, but he didn't."
It went quiet for a minute. "Armendez, can I tell you something?" I nod my head. "It's fine to have feelings for someone, but you should change yourself just to get their attention. If the demon you have feelings doesn't like you, then he's not the one for you. Besides, I believe you should focus more on getting to a higher rank for now." He states. I looked at him surprised. He did made a valid point though. I guess with time, I'll see if Sensei will return my feelings. "I guess your right, Kalego-sensei." I smiled. "Also, I will have a word with those girls who did this to you." "Thanks, Sensei."
After that, I head back home; my parent's asked about why was I in my gym clothes, so I explain what had occurred and how Kalego-sensei was going to have a word with those girls. Later that night, I got ready for bed and I remembered what Sensei told me. I really do need to focus on getting on a higher rank. I may feelings for Kalego-sensei, but that doesn't mean I need to focus on what I need to do.

The next day, Iruma told us he wanted to go up another rate. I found it pretty amazing of him. After we lunch, we went under where the classroom is, it was basically the gym room. I found it pretty cool that the class was right above the gym room, and it's pretty big. Asmodeus explains how this one of the many ways to go up a rank. This is technically considered as a promotion in a sense.
"The next promotion exam is in a week. The thing we'll be tested on... is execution cannonball." Asmodeus stated. "Execution..." Iruma mutters. "skip to my lou." Clara says. "I don't that's how it is Clara-chan." I said. "It's Cannonball! You weren't even trying!" Asmodeus snorted. He explains that execution cannonball was once used as a test to quell a sudden outbreak of demons fighting over their territories. I mean during those times, it was pretty bloody and intense. For execution cannonball, players have to use weapons called caimans and, once they bite down, they won't let go of their prey until they're torn to shreds. The one who enters and eliminates everyone first is the winner.
That does sound pretty intense when you really think about it. Asmodeus brought up a green ball,"But due to the number of casualties... We just use this ball now instead of caimans."
"That seems more reasonable than killing other demons." I commented. Asmodeus also explained that instead of castles, we're now using territories marked by lines and who ever is hit by the ball is out. This new version of execution cannonball seems much more reasonable than the other version. The rest of our time right now, we're just practicing while having fun playing execution cannonball. This was so much fun to play, until someone threw the ball really aggressive. Turns out it was Sabnock who threw it. "A battle to the death to climb the ranks... I'ld expect nothing from thee!"
That's when the rest of the class joined in our game as well. So much for just being us four. Almost the entire class was playing even more rougher than I expected. Asmodeus thought of an idea where Iruma can train to get better at his game. Iruma went over to the Chair demons office and went home early. For some odd reason I felt a little bit of goosebumps on my back. That's odd though, I rarely get goosebumps. The class continue to fool around, until....."Silence!"
No wonder I feel goosebumps. "Everyone, get back to class! Now!" Everyone quickly ran back to class, due to Kalego-sensei giving off his usual scary glare. I didn't really found it terrifying though. While the others ran back to class, I walked over calmly. Should I say something to Sensei? I don't want to sound weird or anything. I think it's best to stay quiet for now.

For the next couple of days, Asmodeus, Clara, and I, along with Iruma's Guardian, Opera, have been helping him out with his training for execution cannonball. For now, we all took a small break in the gym room, Asmodeus gave Iruma a bottle of water while Clara got more food for him. Just as Iruma got the water bottle, he flinched causing the bottle to fall. We all noticed his hand was really bruised. "Your hand... I-it's quite injured!" Asmodeus points out frantically. "Yeah, the ball will actually hit my hands half the time now! Also, I'm finally able to recognize Opera-san's different moods." Iruma stated.
"Oh really now?" I spoke. "Yeah, whenever Opera-san's kitty ears are droopy, they're in a bad mood, but when the kitty ears are pointed up they're in a good mood."
"Impressive..." I commented. Through out the next couple hours, we continued to help him with train for the execution cannonball game. Let's hope all of this will be worth it and help Iruma.

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
