《Nothing to spare, a darken heart~ Naberius Kalego x Chubby! Reader》Chapter 3 (Being open about it)

Today was the day we get to see what classes we're going to be in. I saw that I'm in the same classes with Iruma, Asmodeus, and Clara. At least I won't be alone. Apparently our class is called the Abnormal class, I find that name kinda cool. The arrow to where it was leading our class room lead us deeper into a cave. When we were already in front of the classroom doors, Clara pushes Iruma in and instantly weapons from left to right appeared. Luckily, Iruma managed to dodge them all.
I noticed the rest of the classroom was already filled with students. They were applauding at the sudden action Iruma just did. We walked inside the class while I walked over to help Iruma up. Turns out that the rest of the students were betting how many times would get him. "Isn't that a bit overkill though?" I said. One of them responded,"No not really."
That lead to somebody mentioning that someone actually caught all the weapons. And that was Sabnock Sabro who apparently began to talk about being the next Demon King. Then it lead to Asmodeus being overly dramatic about being "friends" with Iruma and that confused the class. The classroom became more louder until a familar voice said,"Silence!"
Instantly, Kalego-sensei stops all the weapons from hitting him. "I can hear you all the way outside. Can't you be more silent?"
"Hi Kalego-Sensei, are you going to be in charge of this classroom?!" I asked.
"Yes, thanks to Valac. The other day, I was framed because of a certain somebody and, while I was absent, I was this class's teacher." Kalego glares at Iruma & Clara. "Well, I apologize for their behavior sensei. I'm pretty sure something like this won't happen again." I reassured.
We all went to our seat to take role. Sensei summons a book before saying,"I'm calling the roll." After he finishes he said,"Now, let us begin class." He slams the book onto the desk. "All of you, outside. You idiotic troublemakers. We're going to determine your ranks." We did as we were told and went outside to the cliff. He explains that our first lesson will be a race to the flag at the end of this valley.

"Your ranks will be determined by the familiar-summoning exam conducted previously, along with this race. The goal is the flag that sits atop a heugh covered in mist far beyond this valley." Kalego-sensei explains. This seems simple enough to do.
"I will now explain the course." Sensei summons a childish screen similar to the one from the familiar-summoning exams. It basically explain there are two routes. The longer route through Warbling Valley is more calmer and relaxing while the shorter route through Cutthrought Valley is much dangerous and filled with traps. Right before it was about to finish, Kalego-sensei did the same thing like last time.
He definitely hates anything cute or childish. "*cough* That's it for the explanation." Sensei explains to us that we can't go through the Cutthroat Valley due to the guardian being "moody" lately. Once the gates opened, we all got ready and prepared our wings to fly.
"We will now begin the flying race. Ready.....go!"
Instantly we all few at the same time and started. I was right behind Sabnock and Asmodeus. Some students were taking their time flying, while I had trouble balancing myself. I quickly flew a bit more faster than the others while finding a place to stop. My arm continue to ache so badly, I lost my balance even more. I stopped at a near cliff and pulled up my right sleeve, then taking off my bandages.
After taking it off, my bruise got way worse than before. Making sure no one else was around, I got some new bandages from my pocket and started to wrap it around my arm once more. I didn't want anyone else to worry about me nor pity me.
Couple minutes pass by, I managed to catch up with Asmodeus and Clara. For some odd reason Clara is on Asmodeus' back instead of flying. I found that pretty cute, but lazy at the same time. We both landed at the same and noticed Iruma wasn't here.
"Where is Iruma-sama?"
"I guess you both are first." said Kalego-sensei.
"Yay! We made it to the goal!" Clara got off of Asmodeus. "And...she's second?"

Asmodeus began to complain about Clara not flying by herself. Hours pass by and almost everyone was here, except for Iruma. "Silence! The lesson is now over. I will now announce the ranks." Kalego-sensei said. "Wait! Sensei, Iruma isn't here yet!" I told him.
"Those who do not return will be abandoned." He stated.
Out of now where a huge gust of wind appeared. We all saw that it was the Guardian from Cutthroat Valley. Right when Sensei was about to attack the Guardian, we all saw Iruma & Sabnock riding the Guardian. Talk about making a grand entrance.

Afterwards, we all got our ranks and it was pretty interesting. Asmodeus got a 4th rank while half of the class one 2nd and 1st rank. I for one thankfully got a 3rd with Clara. Iruma didn't got a pin for his ranking, but instead got a ring that's supposedly has a weird spirit in or something. In the end, surprisingly the Chair Demon came and tamed it. We also took a class photo which was pretty fun. Afterwards, we left class, but Kalego-sensei called out to me.
"Armendez, stay after class." What did Sensei even want from me. I told the others that I'll meet up with them later on. I sat at my desk waiting for the rest of the students to leave. Once everyone was gone, I walked over to Sensei. "Kalego-sensei, is there something you need?" He remained silent while giving me a stern look. "Show me your arm."
"W-What?!" I stuttered.
"I said, show me your arm!" This time he demanded.
"N-no, Why s-should I? I got nothing to hide! Now if you'll excuse me I'll-" When I was about to leave, Sensei grabbed where my bruise is. I let out a small painful groan. He pulled me away from the door and forcefully sat me on a desk. "Sensei let me go!" I demanded. Kalego sensei pulled my sleeve down right where my bruise, revealing my bandages. "I knew it! When did this happen?!" He inquired in a demanding tone. "Why do you care?! It's not of your damn business!" I snapped.
"It is my business if one of my students is hurt!" He ripped the bandages to reveal my bruise even worse than it was. "When did this happen? Does anyone else knows about this? Answer me!"
I guess there was no way getting out of this now. "*Sigh* I only got into a small fight that's all." I admitted. It went quiet. "That's it?!"
"Yes! That's it alright! I got into a small fight because some guys were being mean to Clara-chan! Can I please go now?!"
Sensei just sighed in response. "Yes, you may go now." I got off the desk and made my way to the door. Right when I was about make my leave, I looked at Sensei. "Before I go,.... I just want to say sorry for the I acted, Sensei."
"You are forgiven, I too want to apologize for my actions onto you. I just....."Kalego stood their quiet for a second. "I was just worried." He was worried.... about me. "O-oh... Well t-thank you for worrying about me, b-but I'm fine. It's just a bruise, I've felt worse. I'll see you around Kalego-sensei!" I quickly ran out the door. My heart started to beat fast after what just happen. I felt something weird when Sensei said he was worried. Could it be that....
No way! There's no chance that could ever happen. I managed to catch with Iruma, Clara, and Asmodeus. Afterwards, we all walked over to the auditorium for the morning assembly. We all went over to our seats, I saw Kalego-sensei with the rest of the teachers. He turns his gaze to my direction, which my heart started to pound rapidly for some odd reason.
All I did was smiled back at Sensei just to be considerate. "Hey, hey, (Reader)-chan your face is turning bright red!" Clara babbled. "Wait...What?!" I turned to her surprised. I covered my face making sure no one else sees. Why is this happening to me out of all demons?!

But Emiluna is not a normal girl and her destiny far bigger than she could have ever imagined.Join her as she finds out what awaits just behind the horizon.[Word from the author]I am looking to create a fantasy world that has some logic to it and stays believable even as characters gain power and progress in levels.Classes and level quantify the people's progress, but they do not artificially inflate their power to demi-god levels. I am primarily trying to write a captivating story, not "power-porn". That means it will be slower than the fast burning litRPG you might be used to, but it won't burn out that quickly either and I won't drop half of my plots at the wayside. I should mention that English is not my native language. I hope it is mostly unnoticeable, but sometimes I manage to slip some awkard sentence structure in there (German sometimes puts things together in reverse). It it also my first time writing an actual fantasy novel and the first time writing anything at length in English. Any constructive feedback is very welcome.Credit where credit is due: Cover picture by Paul Bica (Licensed under CC 2.0)Check out his amazing photos here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dexxusYes, my cover picture is a photo, not a drawing. :D I might try my hand at some Paint-ification later to add the title.[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
