《Mated To Two》Chapter 32

Her soft hands caressed my chest as she laid next to me, with Caines's arm wrapped around her waist as he cuddled her from her back. They were both still sleeping next to me. The soft snores from Aurora and the soft beat of her heart were enough to get me to stay sleeping. But I had matters to attend to. My pack needed my guidance especially now that the enemy was at our gates. Literally, these mother fuckers were camping in front of our gates like youngsters that wanted the latest new sneakers.

I get up from the soft, warm covers of our bed and take a quick shower to wake my body up.

"Morning"

Auroras greet me as she slowly walks in front of me. She stands on her tippy toes and gives me a quick peck on the lips. My scent was mixed with Caines, signaling that she was all ours and no one else's.

But just as the thoughts of happiness came in, they faded out as memories of the last few nights flooded my mind.

We were at war, right in front of my gates. The army of Lycans was waiting at my gates, ready to fight to the death if they had to. For what reason? I don't know if she was doing it for revenge because she loved Caine and Caine has a mate, or if she is just evil and wants to rule my territory and have her way with the power that I have.

There are so many questions that need answers but truth be told. I don't care to find out what the truth is. All I know is that the enemy is at my gates and they are going to die. I wasn't going to save anyone solemnly because they were human. From what Caine told me if they haven't shifted into their human or wolf forms after a certain time, they were going to be stuck on the Lycan form forever. Meaning that they were going to be on berserk mode.

"Alpha Caine, we see movement from the enemy" Jordan's voice boomed in my mind and I shot up from the bed. I got dressed fast and rushed out to the post where Jordan was stationed along with a few other elite fighters. They all bowed in respect and handed me the binoculars.

"They seemed riled up a few minutes ago when I called you" Jordan spoke as he lit up a cigarette.

As I look through the binoculars, I can see the beasts looking right at me. They know I was here, they could smell me. I was an Alpha, my scent was different from the rest, and I knew they all wanted to try me. In the way of the wolf, if you kill an Alpha, you are to be considered the King of Kings. The question was, who was bold enough to try to go against me, or Caine.

"Do we know if Ally is somewhere in there?" I asked.

"We are fighting Lycans, Ally is not there" A young dark-haired werewolf spoke up. Both Jordan and I turn to him and he lowers his head knowing that he interrupted our conversation.

"Don't stay quiet now, speak up" I order him and he lifts his chin up.

"With all due respect Alpha, she is not there- she wouldn't be there, this is all a distraction to prevent us from figuring out where she really is and what she is after, or to delay us."

He had my attention now. He was right, there was nothing here that she wanted. Caine? I know it wasn't Caine since she seemed to be aiming for more. I turn fully to him and watch as he takes a step back. "What is on your name?' I ask him and he straights up his shoulders.

"My name is Robbie Thatcher, Alpha" He answers with a bow.

"Okay Robbie, say that she is not here and this is all a distraction to keep up with whatever her main goal is. What do you think it is?"

"Alpha Caine's pack, or the pack of our Luna, since Alpha Victor is dead, she might be going out to claim the empty throne. She is hungry for power, for attention. The pack at home probably doesn't know of what is going on since these matters are kept private to avoid problems within a pack. This is the perfect chance for her to go back to the states, say some shit and she crowns herself Alpha of the pack of our Luna."

"What's that I hear?" Aurora's voice echoed in the stairs as she and Caine walk up. Aurora was looking straight at Robbie.

He bows down in respect and then looks at me for approval to speak to her. I nod and he explains his theory to her and Caine.

Caine was scratching his head when Robbie finished telling him and Aurora about his theory.

"So far they kept a good job of keeping their evil plans to themselves, but it makes sense. Ally was under Alpha Victor's payroll, and he is now dead. It makes sense for her to run back to the states and take over the pack...but the pack wants Aurora to rule. And we also need to find out what has happened with his partner, Frederick."

"I am over here though. She can easily go over there, win their hearts and they will name her Alpha. My father- Alpha Victor's pack is desperate for an Alpha and I haven't been in contact with anyone from the pack to let them know of what is going on."

"They must know about the pain and the evil shit that she has caused, I don't think they would make her Alpha," Jordan said as he lit up another cigarette.

Caine shook his head at this. "Negative, a pack without an Alpha is a vulnerable pack, We have to fight the Lycans here and go straight back to the states and handle Ally before she does any more damage. I haven't heard anything from Cara regarding Frederick. For all we know, he could be dead."

Aurora tied her hair up and adjusted her ponytail. "So let's fight them, right now. Get this done and over with and we go back to the states to kill his bitch."

All the men around us agreed, but I look at Caine and he gave me a knowing look. "I will speak to you in private later," I whispered to him low enough that only he could hear. Caine nodded as patted me in the back as he walked away with Aurora.

Our attack was set to happen at any moment. I gave the orders to Jordan so that he can go and set up warriors for the defense attack. We had to destroy them. Lycans can not just show up on our doorsteps and not get destroyed. If word of that got around, it would risk my pack getting attacked every day.

"Spill it" Caine spat as he lit a cigarette.

"You should really stop smoking those, you know those are bad for you" I replied sarcastically making Caine roll his eyes at me.

"What did you wanted to talk about?'

"Have you ever thought about what would happen if Aurora was to take over her pack as Alpha?" I finally asked the question that has been plaguing my mind for some time now.

Caine looked away for a second before replying. "Of course I've thought about it. It scares me"

To hear Caine say that he was scared really took me back. Caine always puts on a strong face and "Big Bad Alpha" energy comes through, but deep inside he was just as emotional as I was.

"We are Alphas, therefore, we know the sacrifices that we must make for our people and our pack. We know that sometimes we have to put ourselves on the back burner and even take food out of our mouths to make sure that others can eat, but I know that she would be able to handle it and she would make an amazing Alpha." Caine says as he takes a long drag before releasing the toxins of the cigarette into the air. "But, I know that we can not control the future, nor can we control someone's choices, especially if she was to take her rightful place as Alpha-

"It is not my rightful place"

We both turn to find Aurora dressed in her war attire and I had to remind myself to breathe. The way the black fabric hugged her curves in all the right places, and how her hair was braided. She looked like a Viking warrior princess. Both Caine and myself were salivating at the sight of her beauty, and it took everything in me to not make love to her, right there.

"What?' Caine asked and I cleared my throat as I snap back and away from my dirty thoughts.

"My mom told me about her past" Aurora paused, she looked like she was trying to find the right words. "I don't want to get into it really but she confirmed that Victor was not my father. Now, I don't know much about my real father because she couldn't really tell me much about him without her having a panic attack so, I guess in time I will find out when she is ready to tell me."

I got close to her and pulled her into a hug, Caine was right next to her, he nuzzled his face on her neck, an act of love and affection for us. Her heart slowed down as we stayed like this for a few moments. "Are you okay?" I asked and she gave a soft nod.

"He was never a good father, so there is really nothing for me to be sad about, this will help me heal though."

Jordan's voice boomed in my mind, he let us know that preparation was done and we were ready to go and fight off the Lycans.

"They are ready," I said and Caine and Aurora nodded.

Everyone knew what they had to do and where we would be attacking from. I took my place in the center of the warriors, the left side was being led by Jordan and Caine took the right side alongside Aurora. We would attack from behind and slowly meet in the middle of the enemy.

We mask our scent as we begin to move towards the enemy from all sides. I was worried about Aurora getting hurt but I knew that she was stronger than she seemed and looked like, and Caine was right next to her. But now was not the time to be thinking about this. We had to go out there, and destroy the Lycans at all cost.

In seconds, we began to run towards them, the attack has officially begun.

I rushed towards the biggest Lycan and knocked him on the ground, but he was quick to stand up and attack me. He threw a few jabs at me and missed. I used the opportunity to throw a kick that landed in his stomach, sending him flying back and landing on a few of his buddies that were too busy fighting Jordan. They all few to the ground before standing up again.

Jordan shook his head as he shot a quick glance at me " These mother fuckers are hard to kill!" he complained through the mind link and I shook my head. Jordan smashes through them with his blade, cutting up the arm of a medium-size Lycan, the Lycan lunges at him again, but Jordan was a lot faster and he cuts its head off clean. Blood spraying everywhere.

"Or could it be that you are weak my brother? maybe if you stopped messing around with unmated females, you would be getting enough sleep" I joked through the mind link as I elbowed a smaller Lycan in the face as he crept up from behind me. He charged again but I stopped him as I sliced his neck with my claws in one swift motion.

"I get a lot of sleep, I just please whoever I am with and go back to sleep dreaming about what my destined mate looks like," Jordan replies as he kicks a Lycan down before jumping on the Lycan and snapping his head.

I shake my head with a smile, before killing two more Lycans by slashing through their necks with my bare hands.

"You will meet her soon, the Moon Goddess timing is never wrong" I reply back to him, in a serious tone. Jordan stopped and looked at me, he smiled from ear to ear and I smiled back.

"I know you are right brother, I cant wait to meet her one day," Jordan replies through the mind link as he faces me, with a huge smile on his face.

And that's when it happened.

It was so fast.

I didn't even see it.

"JORDAN!!!" I screamed to the top of my lungs, hoping that he would hear me and get down in time.

But it was too late.

A Lycan bigger than he was popped up from behind him, and struck him with his claws. Jordan didn't see it coming, The Lycan stuck his clawed hand through his back until it came out through Jordan's chest, his heart softly beating in the Lycans hand. The Lycan dropped Jordan's heart on the ground before retracting his whole arm out of Jordan.

I was in shock. I watch as Jordan's eyes slowly close, as he falls to his knees and then falls completely on the ground. His blood now spilling under him.

More screaming filled my ears as Aurora rushed towards the Lycan that killed Jordan. I watch as Aurora jumps up and beheads the Lycan. She lands on the ground and quickly rushes over to Jordan. Her eyes meet mines and I can see tears in her eyes. They fall freely as she shakes her head. He was gone. Jordan, my best friend was gone.

I saw red at this point. I felt my muscles grow stronger and my claws and fangs grow more.

I took a deep breath before letting out a sorrowful howl, making all of my men howl and the Lycans momentarily freeze. All of my men knew that Jordan was gone, and everyone had permission to go berserk.

Going Berzerk was something that we werewolves didn't do often. It was a completely different side to our beasts. A side that would tear up everything, and anything in our path. But it had to be done fast because our berserk beast would only surface for ten minutes. After the ten minutes we would exhaust ourselves and pass out.

I had talked to Aurora about this a few days ago so she knew what she had to do, and I watched intently as she made a run for safety. "Good girl" I growled.

Caine then rushes to me, his body looking massive as he brings out his Lycan side. "I'm going to make sure that Aurora is out of harm's way"

I didn't move or say anything to him as I watch him cover Aurora, making sure she was at a safe distance.

When I smelled that she was far enough and safe, I let out a growl that took most of my oxygen away. And that's when the killing started.

Limbs and blood flying everywhere. In a few seconds I was fully covered in blood from head to toes. I was fast, tearing through everything and every Lycan that crossed me.

Everyone was covered in blood and the smell of it was everywhere, exciting me to kill more. And that I did. It felt like I was in battle for hours, only a few minutes had passed. I ripped off legs and arms. More blood coating my skin as the lifeless bodies of Lycans fell to the ground.

Caine was breaking havok on the other side too. Even in my berserk beast, I was able to watch him tear Lycans apart like they were paper. He a Lycan, and an Alpha, which made him that more lethal. His tattoos were no longer visible due to all the blood that was on him.

Our eyes met and he nodded his head. His eyes were now crimson red and I knew that his Lycan beast had already taken over. I stand tall and watch as my men eliminate the threats. One by one until the growls and the cries die out.

In this bloody battle field, we were victorious, but in our hearts we carried the sorrow and grief from the fallen warriors and Jordan. As the adrenaline started to wind down, our berserk side started to wind down too and I began to feel tired. All except for Caine, because Goddess knows how long that man can be fighting.

"We must head back, now!" Caine shouted as the other warriors from my pack rushed in to help the warriors that were on the battlefield get back to the pack grounds, away from the bloody field.

Caine rushed towards me and wrapped and arm around me before he put my other arm around his neck, holding me up.

Aurora was in the front of the line leading the men back to the pack grounds where our medics and pack doctors waited to treat the wounded.

"His family is there, they don't know anything yet- Do you want me to tell them?" Caine asked, he was talking about telling Jordan's family about the tragedy.

I shook my head. "No, I have to be the one to tell them. It's my duty" I growled.

Caine took me straight to them, when I was in front of Jordan's mother, I pulled away from Caines hold. He understood and he let me take the last few steps until I was in front of his mother. I bent down until I was on my knees and bowed down to her.

When she realized what I was doing, she broke down in a sob. Jordan's father was right next to her, holding her shaking body in his arms, as she sobbed. "I am so sorry" was all I could say, as my voice broke a little. I felt Aurora's small hands on my bloody back, caressing me softly as I stayed in that same position until everyone left.

"Come on babe, lets get you cleaned up" She says with a grunt as she helps me get up.

The pack was silent, everyone was either in their homes grateful that their loveds ones came back alive from the fight, and others where weeping in grief from their losses. And that was the burn and the pain that us as Alphas had to carry with us. Every death, every loss, every battle lost, it was our responsibility, and it fell in our hands.

That's why I didn't want Aurora to be the Alpha of her pack. I wanted to stop her from making the decision of becoming Alpha because I knew that it was going to be a cross to carry and I didn't want for her to feel that kind of pain.

We get to our room and I clean up. Aurora had offered to help but I declined her offer. I wanted to be alone for a while. I must have been in the shower for what it felt like hours. And it must have been, because I came out to find Caine and Aurora in the bed, fast a sleep. I was surprised I was even still up and walking around after using my berserk beast.

I crawled on the bed and made myself comfortable next to them. I wrap my arms around Auroras small frame and I inhale her sweet scent before falling asleep.

It must have been four in the morning when Caine and I woke up and got out of bed.

I knew that Thaddeus would be in a deep sleep, especially after the battle. He had used what is called "Berserk Beast", a deep power that would have a wolf sleeping for days after they used it.

"Are you sure about this Aurora? He is going to be flipping shit when he wakes up and finds out" Caine whispered.

I nodded.

"I know that he doesn't want me to be Alpha, he must have been tired and let me into his mind yesterday as we were helping him back to the room. Although his intentions are pure, I still have a responsability with my people." I whisper as I take one last look at Thaddeus who was peacefully sleeping in the bed.

"Lets go" Caine says as he grabs my hand and quietly leads me out of the room. "My men are waiting for us outside, we will be taking my private jet back, should be arriving by midnight," Caine says as she slaps my ass as I was getting into the car. I loved when he did stuff like that. "Your men been here this whole time?"

"Of course, an Alpha must always have his top warriors near him, even if they are following from behind."

I was hopeful that I would get there in time. My mom should already be at Caine's pack, hopefully settled in and comfortable. We sent her back to the states in a private jet before the fight started. I wanted her to be safe and back at the states, just in case something happened.

"You ready to be Alpha?" Caine asked as he placed his big hand on my knee.

Was I ready? I knew that it was going to be a lot of work, and a lot of sacrifices, and I also felt like I wasnt strong enough. But this entire time that I have been here. I felt like I was growing a lot stronger, physically, emotinally, and mentally stronger. I knew that it was going to be a lot, but I knew that I could handle it.

"I am ready, but first, I got a bitch to kill."
