《Mated To Two》Chapter 26

Thaddeus and I ran as fast as we could to where Aurora told us that she was at. When she told us that Ally had shown up, my heart rate went up. Thaddeus had sent his men to the location to see if they could stop the car that Aurora had went in but they were too late. We tried to see if we could connect with her through our mind links but it didn't work.
By the time that we got there, there was no sign of Aurora or the BWM.
"Please tell me that you guys have cameras out here" I turned to Thaddeus who was talking with his Beta.
"We do, we also got secret agents all over this place-"
"Well? did we get anything in the cameras?" I asked almost desperately. This was the second time that she gets kidnapped, and I didn't know if I should blame it on myself, ourselves, or her, because she is always going out by herself exploring and not telling anyone where she was going.
"They hacked the bloody cameras-"
I didn't react, I just gave Thaddeus one last look before walking away trying to get my nose to do the work. I took a deep breath and let my wolf surface a bit. I just needed his nose. Because if I could pick up Aurora's scent, that was all I needed for me to find her. As much as I wanted to turn around and beat everyone here. I knew that wasn't going to help out at the moment. I needed to focus on finding her soon. My wolf was furious, so furious that he went silent.
"I suggest that you put your men to work so that we can find her. We almost lost her once, this isn't happening again and I will have your head if something happens to her!"
'"Shut your bloody mouth up! How about you blame yourself for once! All of this could have been avoided if you would have just let her mark you!" Thaddeus yelled back with equal hatred in his heart.
My blood was boiling almost at this point. I couldn't hold my tongue much longer. "You know my reasons for not letting her mark me, but you could have let her do it to you...you just don't what her to see how you still have dreams about Lena and how you are somewhat still in love with her!"
The moment I said those words, everyone just stopped and looked at both of us. Thaddeus eyes grew darker in anger and I knew that I had hit a nerve or two.
I smirked at him. "I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. Aurora is out there behind enemy lines I intend to find her. You can do whatever the hell you want. I work better alone, I don't like to get dragged down" I rudely answered back at him before turning to walk away.
Thaddeus said a few curse words under his breath but I ignored it. I needed to find Aurora. I needed her. The thought that someone could be hurting her in this moment was enough to break my soul.
This wasn't my first time in England. I was already familiar with this country and its territories. But now I had to tread carefully around here. Something told me that kidnapping Aurora was part of their plan to drag me out here.
If I'm correct, which I know I am. They have already started to use the virus that's in that vile. And they must have failed at creating a Lycan. I know this because it happened to my father. He too failed to make a lycan, the first twenty-three times. That's something that no one knew. Except for me.

Right now I had to focus. I found a secluded park a good two miles away from Thaddeus and his bloody pack and I sat down on the grass.
If I wanted to find Aurora I was going to have to focus and concentrate as hard as I can. I needed all of my wolf senses working. I sat down in the grass and crossed my feet in front of me. I closed my eyes and took a few deeps breaths. It didn't take long for my senses to focus.
Everything around me felt sharp. It was hard to explain but my body felt as if it was on fire. I could feel everything. The soft breeze on my skin, my eyes felt sharper and more focused. I could hear everything around me. To a rat looking through the trash can, to the soft singing of a new mother to her newborn a few houses down from the park. And my nose was picking up every scent it could pick up.
That's what I needed. I took a deep breath, letting the scents hit me all at once. I focused on one scent though. The scent of Aurora. I focused my mind and took a few deep breaths.
I picked up every scent that I could pick up except for hers. I had been now sitting down here for an hour. Trying to find her scent.
"Fuck me" I cursed under my breath as I open my eyes and throw my hands upon frustration.
My wolf urged me to sit down and try one more time. I calmed down and focused one more time and that was when my nose picked up her scent.
Without a second thought, I jumped up and began following the scent. It was slowly fading away meaning that she was slowly getting farther from me.
Aurora was somewhere out there. In the hands of Ally. And I was worried. Ally was clearly jealous of Aurora since the moment Aurora had walked into my life and into the pack. And a jealous wolf was to be feared. Especially if it was a female. Female wolves tend to be pettier, and dangerous when they were jealous. And Ally probably felt that and a lot more towards Aurora.
Night was now upon me and her scent was leading me to the busy streets of London. The street lights lit up and the evening crowd started to come out. The sidewalk was packed with people that were ready to get their Friday night started. People ready to hit up the bars, clubs and restaurants. My nose was hit with all of these smells and scents. I could smell the cologne and perfumes of anyone that was walking near me, the smell of the food that the street vendor had in his small food cart, and the smells of the cars and buses that were driving nearby.
It was all too much, making me lose Auroras' scent. I look around me trying to find a spot where I can sit and refocus. My wolf pointed out to a dark alleyway. I made my way over and closed my eyes the second my back hit the cold brick wall. I refocused my senses for a few minutes but it was no use.
Aurora's scent was long gone and I couldn't pick it up no matter how hard I tried. The frustration was blinding me. The anger was resurfacing and I felt my eyes starting to sting.
I was angry at myself. I was the one to blame right now for all of this. My wolf and I were so focused on the damn vile that we totally put Aurora and her feelings in the back burner. I was cold and rude to her and she didn't deserve that, at all.

She was my Luna, my mate, my light at the end of the tunnel and I treated her like shit the past few hours. "Your phone has been vibrating for the past two minutes"
I reached for my pocket and grabbed my phone. Just who I did not want to speak with. Thaddeus.
"This better be about you having some news about Aurora, I followed her scent and ended up in the center of London."
"We don't have news but my men picked up on some suspicious activity right on that building that you are leaning back on"
I look around me and look up. There was a light post with a camera below the light. This fucker really did have this city and country on the palm of his hands. I had to give him that, having a team to keep track of things in your back yard was pretty smart. Not to mention that Thaddeus was very popular in London. Not only was he Alpha of his pack, but he also had a connection with the government and had a military branch of his own. He was the werewolf King of Europe. The man could have a needle be found if he wants to.
"We do, five minutes ago your little friend walked into that building that you are leaning on. She had a few big bulky friends with her, but no sign of a BMW or Aurora."
"Ally?" I question as I carefully walk in front of the building. "It seems to be a library," I reply back as I try to stay close to the wall but enough to not look suspicious to anyone.
"Yea her-"
I didn't wait for him to say another word as I ended the call.
As I walk in, I notice a few kids with their parents hanging out in the lounge chairs as they read the books in whispers. There were a few older ladies reading and drinking their teas. It was quiet. I inhaled as I started to make my way towards the back and quickly hid behind a bookshelf when I see Ally walking up the stairs with four other men behind her. But something seemed off. The men that were following were not werewolves. They were humans.
I waited as they disappeared upstairs before I followed suit. I masked my scent and started to walk up the stairs. There was a sign that read "Occult Studies" on the side of the wall.
At the sight of Ally, I quickly hid behind the wall and I watch as she walks in front of my hiding spot. I grab a book and pretend to be reading so that I wouldn't look suspicious to the men as they walked by.
I knew that they didn't have Aurora here, this was too public and too close and her scent was nowhere to be picked up. I peaked from the side and watch them as they disappear through a back door that read "employees only"
Shit.
Losing them right now meant that I could lose the only way to find Aurora and I wasn't going to let that happen. After a few minutes of waiting for anyone to come out, I decided that It was best to follow my instincts and follow in.
I was now in front of the door, with my hand on the gold doorknob. I focused my hearing trying to see if I could notice or hear anything but there was nothing but silence. Without hesitation, I opened the door slowly and made my way in.
It was a small office with papers neatly piled in the center, a single black pen, and a telephone on the side. To the back of the office there was a bookshelf packed with books.
There had to be a secret entrance around here and this bookshelf was it.
I quickly walk up to it and began to move books around trying to see if any of them would open. But nothing, I inspect it more when all of a sudden I felt a small air draft coming from the side. I walk to the side and push it.
"Maybe you should have done that from the beginning instead of looking through old Shakespeare books"
My wolf teased as I walk into the hidden passage. I ignored it as I began to feel a rhythmic vibration on my feet. I look down and see that the floor is made out of wood. The vibrations started to feel stronger as I walked in further inside this hallway or tunnel. It wasn't long until I realized that it was music playing loudly.
There was now a giant red door in front of me and no one around. I put my hands on the handle and pull the door just enough to open it. The door creaks a little before it begins to move and my ears are welcomed with loud music and people yelling and talking.
(This is the song that's playing when he walks into the secret club)
The library is a damn club. And it was packed for it being 6 at night. The smells of alcohol, cigarettes, weed, sex and drugs filled my nose as I pushed through the crowds.
I hated places like this. The clubs, pubs, and bars were my escapes when I was younger. I didn't even want to remember the orgies I got dragged into by my human friends. I tried anything that could be my escape from the pain I carried. Especially after my father passed away. I was a mess. Not caring about anything, not myself, not the pack, nothing.
So being here now was making me feel nauseous. The smells were bringing in memories that I was trying to hide in the back of my head. I pushed through people as they danced and drank. Women and men were coming on to me and I pushed them away but not hard enough to cause a commotion. Everyone was dancing to the beat of the music. They were all grinding on each other as the effects of whatever alcohol or drugs that they were on started to take effect. Making them lose all focus of reality and letting the music take control. I know this because I had experienced all of this.
I managed to make my way towards the other end of the club, where the seats and booths were at and I began to look around for Ally or the men that came with her but I couldn't see them.
Why were they here? I'm sure they didn't just kidnap Aurora, dropped her off, and then decided to come out here for some drinks as if it was a 'hard week at the office' kind of thing.
They must have a reason for coming here. And I was going to find out why.
I walked up to the bar and ordered a drink. I wasn't one to drink but if I was to be here, I had to blend in as much as I could. From the corner of my eye, I see a human woman walking up to me. She swayed her hips seductively and I knew what she wanted, and in this situation, she wanted me. I could smell her arousal.
Human females smelled a whole lot different than she-wolves. Especially when they were in heat.
"You here alone?" She asks as she sits next to me, crossing her legs and signals the bartender to come over. The bartender gives her a drink without a question, showing me that she is a regular here and that I needed to be careful.
She reeked of perfume and for some weird reason, laundry detergent. Her dark long hair was put to the side, showing her deep collarbones. Her makeup was simple and elegant looking. She was beautiful, but not like Aurora beautiful. Still, I put on a fake face and tried to play along with her game.
I took a sip of my beer not taking my eyes off of her. I watch as she tucks in her hair behind her ear and glances quickly to my right side, as if she was watching out for someone or looking for someone. She catches me watching her as she looks in that direction and she quickly looks away.
Someone sent her here. I was sure of it. I wanted to turn around and try to find who she was looking at but it was going to give her away and that was going to make this situation that much more complicated.
"I guess you can say that" I answered back. Keeping the answers short. "How about yourself, anyone giving you headaches in your life right now?" I asked as I took another sip of the beer.
The girl laughed as she grabbed her drink and took a sip of it. "I had someone giving me a headache but, not anymore. I guess you can say that I am as free as a bird. What's your name handsome?' She asks in a low seductive voice.
"My name is Roman" I lied. "And yours?"
"Samantha" she replies back as she puts her drink down. "Is this your first time here?"
"Yea it is actually, I didn't know this place was so...lit"
"Lit?" she looked at me confused.
"Its a term over there in America, it means that the place is "Awesome". I answer and she nods.
"Okay, Okay I think I get it now. This is the first time that this place is like this though. Usually is laid back but apparently, tonight is a special night in this club." Samantha says as she finishes her drink before putting it back down on the dark wood table.
"What's happening tonight?" I ask as I finish my beer.
"A secret guest will be making an appearance, and they will be giving out 8,000 pounds to a lucky person tonight".
Just as Samantha finished talking, the music had stopped and there was a man on the stage. He was about my height, maybe a few inches shorter, he wore dark sunglasses and wore his hair in tight braids. Everyone moves closer to the stage as they try to see who the man is and when was all this money gonna be given out.
"Thank you all for coming tonight! I know some of you are all here because of the money!" he cheered and the crowd went wild screaming. Of course, they were all here for the money.
I was starting to become suspicious though. Why were they going to give that amount of money away? I watch as Samantha joins in the group of people leaving me behind at the bar. Even the bartender seemed to make his way over to the crowd of people leaving the bar unattended. I move to the side and lean my body on one of the pillars facing the stage. The club was still dark and the lights were still going, only the music had stopped.
That's when I saw Ally behind the stage with one of the guys from earlier. He held on to the black box that had some type of hose coming out of it. I watch as she plugs it into one of the smoke machines. The man seems to put the box behind one of the speakers before leaving with Ally.
It didn't take long for my nose to pick up on whatever was coming out of the box. I knew the smell too well.
The virus.
They were trying to release the virus in here like this?
They were going to end up killing these humans!
It didn't take long for the smoke to start traveling inside the club, making people cough. Some starter to lose their balance and others were passing out.
"Uh-ladies and gentlemen, we seem to be having some issues right now. Ha! What in the bloody hell! What did some of you have to dri-" The announcer couldn't finish his sentence as he began to cough uncontrollably now.
"Get out! Now!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and stood back as people began to rush out of the club.
"The doors are locked!"
I looked around and found the door that I came in from and saw that there was no one around it.
"Up there! It will take you guys out to the library! Run and go!" I yelled, using my Alpha voice. The humans turned around towards me and back at whoever they were with before they started to make a run for it towards the door that I came in. I got out of the their way before I turned around and ran towards the stage to stop the box from releasing anymore of that virus.
As I ran towards the stage I saw the number of people on the floor. Some weren't moving and others looked like they were convulsing. As much as I wanted to stop to help, I had to get the box first to prevent more people from inhaling the virus. I got up stage and ran to the corner where I saw them tuck in the box. It was dark and it took my eyes a while to adjust but I found the box. The vapor with the virus was released into the air. I put my finger in the hole and cover it as I rip the power cable out. I pull my finger out and watch as the smoke slowly starts to slow down until it completely stops.
I stand to my feet only to fall down again because someone hit me in the back with something. I stumble a little before I get up and turn around to face my attacker.
"You are a long way from home" she grins.
"I should say the same thing to you Ally" I reply as I put the box down. She looked different than what I remembered. There was something about her look, especially her face. She just looked, evil, sinister.
"I should have known that your little nose was going to bring you over here-"
