《Mated To Two》Chapter 25

I hated flying. The last time I was on a plane it resulted in me throwing up the delicious breakfast I had eaten.
"You okay?" Thaddeus asks as he sits next to me. He placed a small glass of water in front of me before grabbing my hand and placing a small white pill on my palm. "Take this, it should help with the motion sickness."
I take it without hesitation. If it was going to help me feel less anxious and calm me down, I was going to use it.
"Have you flown before?" Thaddeus asks. He is fumbling with a candy wrapper and I wonder if it's out of nervousness or if he is more scared of flying than I am.
I look out the window before turning to him. "All I remember is that I threw up, a lot. I think that was the first and last time my parents- I mean..they ever took me out of a trip."
"Ladies and gentlemen, please be seated with your seatbelt on. We will be landing in five minutes"
The captain spoke through the intercom and I let out a sigh of relief. Thaddeus stayed seated next to me.
"Where is Caine?" I ask as I hold on to the seat handles. The plane had started to shake a bit due to turbulence. My wolf was pacing back and forth nervously inside my head. That was until Thaddeus grabbed my hand and squeezed.
"Here"
Caine comes quickly and slumps down in front of us. He didn't look like himself. His eyes were rougher looking like he hadn't slept ever since we left. I could sense the anger radiate off of him and I knew that he was planning it all inside his head. He had been quiet ever since that night in his lab.
I kept quiet. I didn't know what I could say to him that could help him come out of it. What was the right thing to say right now?

Thaddeus squeezed my hand again and I shifted my focus to him. He gave a soft smile and I calmed down a bit, it was just enough to turn my face and look out the window of the jet.
The view was beautiful. I could see the city, the cars, the view, it was different than back home. But it was lovely.
The plane landed smoothly and we all got off. Thaddeus had his beta pick us up from the airport and we were on our way to his pack. My stomach was twisting for the past hour due to my nerves. I was nervous because I didn't know what to expect.
Not only was I going to be meeting Thaddeus's pack. I was hopefully going to help capture my "father and mother" so that they can be brought to justice for their crimes against their own pack members and humans alike.
I didn't know what was going to happen in the next few days. Things could go from bad to worst and I wanted to be ready.
"Your mind is running, I can see the little hamster running in his wheel in there," Thaddeus says as he grabs my hand and kisses it.
He was right. "I just want to find Victor and find out the truth about what I am, where I came from. He owes me that. And I need the truth from Caine also". That was the most honest I have been to Thaddeus. I was scared of Caine and his sudden outburst of anger. I decided that it would be best to just let him be.
We got to his pack and he introduced me to everyone. We decided to do the ceremony to welcome me as his Luna as soon as we got to his territory. It was done in the safety of his home surrounded by his family, and a few close friends of theirs. It felt rushed. But everyone knew the situation and the circumstances we were in. And I was grateful that they understood the gravity of the situation.

His pack territory was beautiful. Everyone looked happy and content. You can tell that he and his family cared for their pack well. Thaddeus knew everyone by their name and you could sense the respect that they had for him.
It was now afternoon, and I decided to pull away from everyone and explore Thaddeus's house. It was absolutely beautiful. It was a mix of Victorian, and modern, with a bit of his masculine touch.
It took me a good two hours to explore the inside of his mansion and I wanted to see some more.
I opened the first door that I saw that could lead me to the outside. The handle was cold, telling me that outside was starting to get chilly. I adjusted my thick fleece sweater and headed out into the chilly air. The backyard was pretty big. There were lots of flower bushes and trees, as well as a pond with a few fishes inside. My wolf wanted for me to rush over and try to grab a few so that we could eat them, but this wasn't my place and it wasn't the time for to me jump in a pond for some koi fishes. I had them before and I wasn't a fan of koi fishes, but my wolf was.
After exploring the yard, I found a cool wooden door. Curiosity kicked in and I opened it.
It leads me to a small alleyway, with brick walls and cobbled stones on the ground. It was very cold here but I asked my wolf for some of her warm energy and she does.
'Looks like we are in the outskirts of the city of London" My wolf informs. "Maybe we should head back" She suggests but I shake my head.
"No, besides, I am sure we will be safe, this is Thaddeus territory, we will be fine" I was confident in this. Thaddeus pack was all of England, Scotland, France, and a few other neighboring countries.
My wolf quiets down as I walked down the quiet cobblestones. I couldn't hear anything else but the soft breeze going through the alleyways. Nothing else was heard around me but the breeze and silence.
"Aura maybe we should head back, its starting to get dark and we don't know our way around here" My wolf sounded nervous.
I let out a sigh of defeat. "You are right, let's go back," I reply to my wolf.
Just as I turned around, two men start to walk towards me. They both looked mean and like they meant business with me. I look down to their waist and see guns attached to them. I turned around and continued to walk away as my eyes quickly scanned the area for a place to hide. Just when I thought I could make a run for it, I crashed into something. Or someone. I stumbled back and heard my wolf curse under her breath.
Right in front of me, stood a six-foot-six-tall man, his face didn't look human but something in between wolf and something more beast looking.
"You thought you could hide from us?
I knew that voice. Oh, my blood was boiling right now.
'It had to be you behind this huh?" I asked before Ally comes forward from behind the tall beast-looking man.
"Oh, there are many of us behind this. But right now, you need to come with us-"
"I ain't going nowhere with you" I said loudly but of course that was no vail. Right then I felt a sharp prick on my neck and my vision began to look blurry. I watch as a BMW pulls up and two other men get out.
My wolf was howling in fear in my mind "We need to let our mates know!"
And I did just that in the hopes that they would know what I got myself into.
