Morning came around quickly and I haven't slept one bit. I just couldn't do it. Trying to focus on sleeping was impossible. So, I had stayed up all night, getting myself ready for today. There was a thick fog in the woods and I could smell rain coming in the distance.

We were already gathered together, getting ourselves ready for the infiltration tonight. I could smell the excitement in the air from all of my warriors as well as Thaddeus' warriors. We had gathered more information on Alpha Victor and it had turned out that he was indeed involved in human trafficking. He was in deep with Federick, and the FBI was getting closer to both of them by the second.

Thaddeus's spies managed to go infiltrate inside the pack and we got a possible location on where they might be holding Aurora and one of the guards hostage.

"You sure they got her there?" Thaddeus asked Michael as Michael went over a map that he drew in order to help us get a better idea of where we were supposed to go to rescue Aurora.

"Her scent led us there. But the ground felt different around it. I think they might have her underground".

"Like a bunker?"

"Yes Alpha" Michael bows. "Lizzie is still inside the pack trying to gather more information, as of now, she got nothing, just what we know of now".

I was scared for Aurora. We haven't completed or even started the mating bond and we didn't know if she was okay. I couldn't feel anything, or know her thoughts. I was upset that we didn't talk about the importance of the mating bond. Because of situations like this.

We were a good three miles from the pack grounds, and we had to be silent. In moments like this, I was thankful for the Moon Goddess gift of being able to speak through mind links, or keeping our voices down. We also have Gretel. She was the packs "witch"and one of the oldest elders in my pack. She had made a special drink for our wolves to mask our scent. It's the reason we have been able to camp near Alpha Victors pack without being noticed.

Thaddeus had walked up to me as I stood far off watching as all of my warriors and his prepare themselves.

"You okay?"

That question was starting to get on my nerves. But it was Thaddeus, and it didn't bother me as much.

I was starting to feel comfortable with having him around. I mean, I had to make an effort to like him. Thaddeus was also mated to the she-wolf of my dreams and we were now both destined to be with her. So, whether I liked it or not. I had to make an effort, because I am sure that she wouldn't want us fighting all of the time we are with her.

"I just want to get this done and over with. I get a few swifts of her scent and it has been driving my wolf crazy, I don't know how long I can keep on controlling myself" I didn't lie.

"Your wolf, he is different" Thaddeus says in a matter of fact voice and I look at him.

"What do you mean, I am an alpha just like yourself-"

"No, your wolf is stronger, I can sense it. Caine you are bigger, faster...your eyes..Caine I saw you fighting. Your eyes turned red-"

This is exactly why I would always go in either first into battle or last. Because I was scared that someone would notice my secret, something that Thaddeus already saw.

"That must have been something your imagination made up" I joked as I crossed my arms. My eyes were still on the warriors as they hung out and talked amongst themselves.n

"Caine don't lie to me. I know very well about your father and his-"

"Shut. Up" I whispered harshly.

Thaddeus eyes grew wide as realization kicks in. My eyes gave me out. They had changed, I let it happen again. Just now.

"So you are just going to lie to my face?" Thaddeus presses on. "Your eyes just changed...right now Caine, just now they went from yellow to red, and you don't want me to worry about this?"

He didn't understand the pain and suffering that I was put through by my father. The hatred that I had for that man goes well beyond the grave. He broke me, destroyed me. All because he wanted me to turn into a killing machine in order for him to gain more territory.

"You know nothing! You have no idea, what that man put me through, Thaddeus. You have no idea, what that man did to me, of what he turned me into".

Thaddeus looked down before putting a hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry for what you went through brother, I hope that one day you trust me and Aurora enough to tell us what happened, so that you can finally get that off your chest. You got us now Caine" he says as be pats my back one more time before he walks away and back down to join his men and brother, leaving me alone to watch 350 werewolves from the hill.

It was now night time, and we were making last-minute preparations before going in to rescue Aurora. In a few minutes, we would be going in quietly, kill who ever we had to kill, and hope that we could all leave in one piece.

I gathered them together, all the male and female wolves stood in attention waiting for Thaddeus and I to speak before we go into the mission.

"They have a curfew, everyone goes into their homes and pack houses at eight sharp. We have counted only twenty guards, I'm sure Michael has shared their locations with those who have been directed to infiltrate those areas. We will go in quietly, and try...to go out quietly. Only kill if you see that they are a threat to you, kids, women and elders are not to be touched". I announced and everyone nods.

I can sense my warriors, they were feeling restless, they wanted to get their Luna back. I was glad to know that I could sense their loyalty to her already, even if she hasn't been properly introduced to them and the whole pack. They knew what she meant to me as well, and I appreciated them for this. Because if I went in by myself, I couldn't guarantee the safety of everyone else.

I look over to Ben and signaled him to come over and stand between Thaddeus and I.

Ben was tall and well built just like this brother, but his hair was the lightest blonde and he had the greenest of eyes. Ben walked over to us with his tablet in hand. I wanted my warriors to hear what he had just found out a few minutes ago, from his informant in the FBI. The message had just made this mission a lot harder. We had to be careful and know how to take this on.

"Also, please, pay close attention to what Ben has to say...this mission has to go as planned. Ben, please tell our men about the situation that just came up".

"Yes Alphas" Ben says as he turns to face the pack of warriors.

"As you all know, we have been getting help from the informant that I have in the FBI. He reached out to me hour ago, he said that they will be raiding this place in the morning, but they will be making their way to surround the area at midnight. We have five hours before the humans set foot where we are at. We need to go in as silently and carefully as we can, and retrieve Luna Aurora quickly and return back to Alpha Caine's pack, May the Moon Goddess be with us tonight". Ben finishes and everyone nods at him in approval.

We wasted no time and everyone started to infiltrate Alpha Victor's pack silently. Some of our men transformed into their wolves and some stayed in their human form. Thaddeus and I were the first ones in. We moved quickly and quietly in our human form, with Michael a few feet in front of us, as he lead the way to where Aurora is being held at.

After fifteen minutes, all three of us arrive in front of this run-down cabin, far away from where the other cabins where at. Michael was definitely right about the ground being weird. It felt as if there was something under us. Us wolves could feel the ground well, it was in our nature to know the grounds we set foot on.

"There is no one in" Thaddeus whispers. "I don't smell anyone either"

We wait a few feet away as Michael goes around the cabin to make sure that it was secure. After a few minutes, he comes out from the other side and signals us to continue. With very careful and slow steps, we start to go up the rotten stairs. Michael waits on the right side of the door as Thaddeus slowly reaches over the handle and opens it. The door creaked a little as Thaddeus walks in, I follow quickly with Michael behind me.

Thaddeus starts to look around the floor and I do the same as Michael stands to watch by the window, his gun with the silencer on. I didn't like guns, but in a time like this, I didn't mind. If it was going to help the mission, so be it.

"I found it" Thaddeus whispers and I carefully walk over to where he was at.

There was a large door on the corner of the floor. A large grandfather clock was dragged over it to prevent anyone from finding it. I pick it up and slowly move it out of the way so that Thaddeus could open it.

"It's heavy," he grunts as he pulls the handle up, slowly lifting the door off the ground.

I stand back as he fully lifts the door up and that was when I saw it. The other side of the door had silver.

"No wonder it's heavy, look" I point at the door. "That's silver" I whisper.

"Looks like we are in the right place then" Thaddeus whispers as he hands me the black gloves.

I took the gloves from him and quickly put them on. All three of us where wearing black, with a protective covering that kept us safe from silver. "I have to say Thaddeus, this protective material that your people created has come in handy, because Goddess knows I would have come in here today naked and still ready to kill everyone". I said as I covered my face with the black mask.

I still thought the mask was unnecessary but if the FBI was on them, and we somehow came across them today, we needed our identities to be safe, because having humans know of our existence right now would make things a whole lot worst. I knew my sister would be able to cover my ass but, the less work she had to do the better.

He chuckled as we both went down the stairs. The room that we went into looked like a study of some kind.

"Help!"

We both heard it but it sounded muffled almost.

"It's coming-"

"From below" I finished the sentence for him as I began to look around the floor.

"There must be a door here somewhere. Michael did say it might be a bunker" Thaddeus mentions. "Here, it's a door!"

As I move the cardboard that was laying over the wooden door, Thaddeus reaches over the latch and tries to open it.

"We are here!!"

"Help! Please!! Get us out!"

The voices where coming from behind this large wooden door.

"Shit, what the hell is this door made out of?" I ask and I grab onto the other latch to help Thaddeus pull the door up.

"One...two...three"

We both pull up as hard as we can, opening the door and letting it down on the dusty wooden floor.

As the dust settled down, we see girls looking back at us. Both were wolves and humans.

"Are you guys okay?" I ask and the door before they rush out.

"Alpha is still down there-"

"Who is your Alpha?" I ask confused by what she was saying. The only Alpha out here was Alpha Victor and I couldn't want to get my hands on him.

She looks at the other girls and they look back at me and Thaddeus.

"Alpha Aurora," She says carefully.

"You girls are from her pack?"

She-Wolves nods and the humans look at us confused.

"She is still down there with some crazy guy-"

The moment she said those words, I ran down the stairs as fast as I could.

I can hear Thaddeus upstairs telling the girls to run up and get to Michael so that he can get them to safety.

The door was made out of silver and I tighten my gloves around my hands. Thaddeus was now next to me and he was doing the same.

It didn't take long for us to push the door open and see the scene in front of us. The smell of blood was coming from Aurora and her eyes were straight on us.

My Aurora, our Aurora. She was alive, she was here. My wolf was relieved to see her. I needed to feel her. He wanted me to run to her and embrace her and tear down the disgusting pig that was touching her.

The man that had her in his arms was smelling her hair and touching her body in such a way that it made my blood boil.

I felt Thaddeus energy radiating off of him and it was deadly, and I'm sure he felt the same with my energy.

"Eliezer...you are so dead" Aurora said to him and his eyes travel to Thaddeus and I.

The man she called Eliezer looked at us as if he had seen a ghost, but his shocked face quickly changed and he replaced it with a smirk.

"So these are the lucky mates that get to have you huh? Damn, you guys came at a bad time. Do you see? Miss Aurora and I were about to have some fun-"

Eliezer couldn't even finish the sentence as Thaddeus was already on him like a flash.

"Get Aurora!" He shouts as he lands a kick in the stomach of the guy, sending him back a few feet away. Aurora drops on the floor and I rush to her without a second thought.

"Caine!" She embraces me and I hug her tight.

"Are you hurt?" I ask her as I scan her face and arms. There was a little bit of blood on her shoulder but it wasn't much. Still, I checked the wound and she winced in pain.

"It's just a scratch, that little bitch's ego is too big for him to do anything right" she joked.

It was like Aurora to have a joke at a time like this.

"Help Thaddeus" She says as she points with her head to Thaddeus and Eliezer who are too busy clawing at each other. "Eliezer fights dirty, he uses steroids"

I look at Thaddeus and it looks like he is having a bit of a hard time.

I close my eyes and let my wolf take over as I charge at full speed towards Eliezer. Knocking him down once again to the ground.

Eliezer got up quickly and got into a boxing fighting stance. I did the same, except I waited for him to make the move first. And as expected. He did.

He threw a punch and I quickly move out of the way, before grabbing his arm and pulling it in a weird angle, eventually breaking it.

"Ughhh you damn lab rat" he cursed at me and I lost it when I heard those words leave his mouth.

"What did you called me?"

"You heard me! you-"

I didn't let him finish as I kick his leg so hard that it snapped, making him lose his balance and falling on the ground.

"Guys!"

Aurora shouts and we turn to her. She was standing by two large gas cylinders, she held a smirk on her face as she had a candle already burning by the door.

"What are you gonna do you fuck-"

Eliezer didn't get to finish as Thaddeus snapped his neck. Killing him instantly.

I run over to Aurora and pick her up.

"You sure?" I ask and she nods.

Thaddeus ran over to us and kissed Aurora on her forehead as she was still in my arms. The gesture didn't bother me in the slightest. I was just glad to know that she was okay, finally in my arms. Her eyes close and she lets out a sigh of relief.

She held on tight to me and we run up the stairs and out of the house, we continued on running towards the route that Michael told us to run so that we could get out.

We managed to run out just in time, total of five seconds, cabin that we just got out of exploded, flames, debris and pieces of wood went flying towards us. We easily ducked down, as Thaddeus and I covered Aurora so that nothing would fall on her.

"Shit" she curses as we get off of her and we look back to see the now burning foundation of the cabin.

"We need to get out of here!" Thaddeus says as he helps Aurora up.

"No!"

We both turn to look at Aurora

"We got to go!" Thaddeus says again and Aurora shakes her head.

"I need to get my people out of here!"

As she says those words, the people of her pack start to show up around us. Some appeared from the bushes, some ran over. Elders and young werewolves alike started to surround us.

I look at Aurora who had tears forming in her eyes.

"Luna!"

We turn to see Erik walking over to us, with the help of two young men, he looked badly beaten up and there was a lot of blood coming from his wrists. I could smell the burn of his skin caused by silver. I made a mental note to move him up a rank. I could tell that he tried to help his Luna.

"Erik!" Aurora shouts as she runs over to him and gives him a hug.

The action made my wolf a bit pissed off and I was surprising a growl, but of course Thaddeus beat me up to it.

Erik quickly pulls away and bows his head before apologizing to Thaddeus and me.

"You Two better stop it!" Aurora warns sternly as she playfully slaps Thaddeus's arm.

One of the girls that we rescued earlier came forward. She had the three human girls along side her too and they just looked confused.

"Alpha Aurora, please, take us with you" the girl begs as she gets down in both knees and brings her head to the ground. In a matter of seconds, one by one, they start to do the same.

"Your father will kill us all, please young miss, save us" an older lady says as she tries to bow down to Aurora but she seems to have difficulty.

Aurora sees this and rushes over to her. "Please you don't have to bow, please," Aurora begs softly and the elder smiles at her.

I walk over to them. And I help the elder lady up to her feet.

"What can we do?" Aurora whispers to me and I put my hand on her head softly.

"Your pack, is also my pack" I say to her and look back at Thaddeus who had a smile on his face.

"Your pack, is also my pack" he says earning a huge smile from Aurora.

That was all she needed to hear before she turns to face her people. They are on their feet now, their eyes hopeful. You could see they had faith in Aurora, they trusted her. They believed in her. I could tell that she was going to make a great Luna and a great Alpha if her people chose for it.

This has never been heard of before. But I was not going to prohibit her from ruling her people. If they chose her as their Alpha, I would gladly support her.

"You will all be coming with me. Back to Alpha Caine's pack. Where you will all be welcomed with open arms. You are all my people, and where ever I go, you all will follow. I will make sure that you guys all are well looked after, and we will also find the girls that my monster of father sold off. I promise. We will all be one, from here on forward. May the Moon Goddess give me strength to look after all of you"

"We want you as Alpha," an older lady says as she walks in front of Aurora, holding on to her little wooden cane.

"But...I am not sure that-"
