It's been three days since she has been missing, along with the two other guards. Caine had been interrogating the one rogue non-stop, and the other guards executed the smaller rogues that had been captured, no questions asked.

Not having Aurora nearby, to smell her, even if it was from afar was driving myself and my wolf crazy, and the only time I thought about Lena was when I was trying to figure out what had happened in that room.

"You okay?"

Ally asks as she sits on one of the rocks next to me.

"Yeah" I reply back, not glancing her way.

"The rogues are all dead, except for the one. We have also made preparations to welcome your brother and your men soon. We got the transportation ready too, they might have a hard time reaching us up here"

Ally was nice. She was quiet but deadly. I saw her fighting and she was a beast. Thinking about that, I wondered how Aurora fought. What her techniques were? What skill was she good at?

We both sat by the river where Caine's trackers traced Aurora's scent. The sun was just starting to rise, giving the mountains a beautiful orange look as well as the water. It was chilly but it felt good against my skin.

"We will find her Alpha, I don't know Luna Aurora like that but she is strong. We will find her soon, and bring her back" Ally says as she gets up and bows to me before leaving me by myself.

I didn't take my eyes off the spot where the boat that picked them up was at.

"Why her? Why did they go through all of this trouble to get to her?" I thought before my attention was shifted to the vibrating phone in my pocket.

"What have you found Bennett?" I ask my beta and my right hand and my brother.

"Many things, for example, why are you hiding in the mountains brother? that is so not li-"

"I swear Ben, I will rip your hands off when you land in this territory, tell me, what you know?" I threaten and I hear him clear his throat. Ben was funny, sarcastic, and a goofball, but right now, wasn't the time for jokes. My mate could be out there hurting, I had to put my men to find her.

"Sorry brother, well...father didn't know that you had found your destined mate until I told him, and then I told him that she got kidnapped and he almost had a heart attack, just know, that he also sent out extra two-hundredth wolves, including the Red squad. He is serious about helping you find her, especially after finding out that Lena is also involved. You know father and mother never really liked her since the beginning". Ben informed.

I loved my parents. My father had always taught me to be responsible for my actions and my decisions, although he wasn't a fan of Lena, he still accepted her. So I am sure that him knowing that my destined mate is in trouble, he would be out here himself trying to rescue her too.

"Why did you-"

"Brother, that's father, you know that we can not lie to him, he deserves to know too"

"Fine, thank you" I was grateful for them because right now, I needed this. "What did you find?" I ask him.

There was some static going on during the call and then I could hear him well again.

"Sorry, we are going through turbulence and we will be landing in an hour so I have to tell you this quick- I did some research on Aurora's father and he really isn't a good man Thaddeus. He is a nut job, that killed off a whole pack, including pups. It was an act that not even the Werewolf committee knew until humans got involved when they found the slaughtered pack. He is also friends with; Federick Ramson, one of the main heads of human trafficking in your area. The FBI seems to be investigating Federick as we speak and there is a photo of them together eating at some Italian restaurant in Toronto...seems like it was taken last week. I also had a human go into their pack and he reported that there was no one there. He said that it seemed as if they picked up their belongings and left. No signs of violence or blood, nothing out of place. The place was wiped clean".

Wolf packs were migratory, but once they found a place where they felt safe, they would settle and wouldn't move. The fact that Auroras pack had picked up and moved was alarming. Something was definitely up and the faster that we figured this out, the better we would be.

"Thank you Ben"

"No problem brother, I will see you in a few hours"

I hung up before I take off running over towards the packhouse to find Caine.

"Where is Caine?" I ask one of the guards the moment that I arrive in his front yard.

"He is interrogating the rogue-"

I didn't let him finish as I ran over to the building on the far end of the pack. The guard that was guarding the entranced stepped to the side letting me in. I run down the dark hallway until I reached a large door. I look at the camera and waved so that the security guy can open the door for me. After a few seconds, the large metal door opens, and I run in down until I see a guard sitting outside the door that Caine was in.

He looks up and knocks on the door, the door opens and Elijah comes out, he motions me to come in and I go in, not ready to witness the sight that laid in front of me. My face was stone cold as I walk over to Thaddeus who was covered in blood from head to toe. His bright blue eyes shinned more in contrast to the blood on his face.

I stand next to him, my eyes laying on the now-skinned rogue.

Caine lived up to his reputation. Other packs feared him, called him a monster, ruthless, evil. He was known as "The Devil Wolf" and now I knew why.

"Her father picked up and left. My beta had someone come here and check and he found nothing, Caine. They are gone"

"Gone?" Caine's voice booms and the rogue in front of us shake in fear.

Caine turns to me, his eyes are bright yellow and I know that one wrong move, and he is gone to his inner devil wolf.

"I want us to go over there and check it out. We have to start, this is not a coincidence," I say and Caine looks at the rogue before looking back at me.

"Lets go" He growls as he walks past me with Elijah right on his tail, leaving me with the rogue.

I look at him and he looks defeated, malnourished and sick. I'm sure his wounds were now infected and his days were definitely numbered.

"Help-" he whispers. This didn't go unheard by Caine, as he had come right back to the room, Elijah and now Ally was next to him.

"Now you want to talk?" Caine threatens as he brights the knife up to the rogue's chest.

"He moved them..because he knows he is growing weak-"

"Who?" It was my turn to ask the questions now as Caine backs away from the rogue.

"Alpha Victor..he-he said I had to lead these rogues to your pack, he didn't tell me why, he..is the only one that knows where my mate is at. She has been missing for a month now, she was gone" he says that he can take me to her if I would lead them here...im so sorry, I just want to see my mate. I have been going crazy I need her scent, her smile. I need to know she is okay" the rogue cries out.

I look at Caine as he eyes the rogue. I felt for this man. I know how he was feeling. The fact that his mate was gone too, no idea where she was at is maddening.

Caine turns to Ally and she nods before walking out of the room.

"Let's say I believe you, and help you find your mate, can you tell me where he might have moved his pack to?" I ask the young man. The blood was starting to dry and his heart rate was going down slowly. He wasn't going to live long if we kept him here.

He shook his head slowly. "I can't, I didn't know he was going to move his pack. But he seemed a bit uneasy when this redhead girl came to visit. He had promised me the spot of Beta if I did what he told me to do. Which was lead the rogues here...I am sorry, all I wanted was my mate back" he says, his voice sounding nothing but a whisper now.

"My beta informed me that Alpha Victor might be friends with a human trafficker, the is a chance that your mate might be a victim of that. But I will see that we find her". I offer and he nodded before looking down.

He looked like he was close to passing out, but luckily Ally showed up with the pack doctor next to her. "I'll take care of this Alpha," The doctor says as he and the nurses surround the rogue and start to take the silver chains off.

Caine nods before we all leave the cell, but not before giving me a death glare. I knew that he didn't like that I had made a deal with the rogue, but sometimes, you had to do things you didn't like in order to get ahead. As we exit out the large grey building, we are welcome with a breeze that smelled like mud. It was going to rain again.

"Ally, you stay here and make sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing" he orders and she bows as she turns around and heads down to the guard posts.

With the new information that we know, we all drove down to Alpha Victor's pack. A drive that would have taken us 3 hours, we did in one and a half. Don't ask how, but it involved a lot of illegal shit and crazy driving. As we enter the Alpha Victor's pack, we see that everything looks clean, nothing is out of place, nothing seems to be broken. It told us that this was an order from their Alpha.

"What the fuck happened?" Caine curses as he kneels down, his arms on his knees and his hands clap together and over his mouth. He was trying to figure out what had happened here like many of us that were here were trying to do.

He stood up tall and turned to his men. They were all wearing skin-tight military-like uniforms, their eyes were bright, they were ready to tear anyone apart so that they can get their Luna back. "I want you all to search this place, every house, every basement, and search the area, if you pick up on a scent, follow it. We go on foot". Caine orders before turning to me. "This information was from your source, anything else that you think my men should know before we head out?"

I nod before turning to the group of men. "My beta gathered secret information on Aurora's father, Alpha Victor. He seems to be messing around with a human trafficker; Federick Ramson, apparently they were seen together last week having dinner at an Italian restaurant in Toronto" The men look at each other before looking at me, and even Caine takes a step closer to hear what I had to say. "He also said that Alpha Victor can be a pack destroyer. A werewolf obsessed with power and looking for more territory. I think he might be using Aurora against us, maybe he will reach out and ask for land in exchange for her life, and if that's the case, we need to hurry up and find her."

"You heard the man, now go!" Caine dismisses them and they all begin shifting and running in all directions. Only Caine and I remained in the center of the yard of the pack.

"Human trafficking?' Caine asked alarmed, his arms crossed in front of his chest. "Do you think-"

"I fucking hope not." I didn't even let him finish that sentence, as I ran a hand through my hair. "My brother has been trying to run information on her father but he is too good at hiding his tracks. He has people working for him, I wouldn't be surprised if he finds out that my people are on him and that we are here on his old pack grounds. He might start to move sloppily soon, we have to be careful".

Caine's eyes are on me before his eyes go bright yellow and he looks back at me. "They picked up a scent".

That was all we had to hear before we both shifted halfway into our wolves and made a run for it.

We arrive where five of his men were waiting for us. There were three large boulders, two of his men were up on one looking out into the distance.

"There is a strong scent, and we found a pup's toy," one of the men says as he hands us a small wooden figurine of what looked to be a "wolf's" version of Mickey Mouse.

"Then down that way we go, looks like they moved on foot into the woods," Caine says before we all shift again and start to follow the tracks.

We were already twelve hours into the search when I picked up on a familiar scent. it was starting to get strong and I knew that he was near.

"Boo Mother Fucker!" Ben screamed at me as he knocked me down on the ground.

"Bloody fuck you ugly fuck!" I curse at him as he helps me up.

"How did you find us?" I questioned as Caine walks over to us.

Ben bows his head to him in respect before shaking Caine's hand. "This is my brother Bennett, also my beta". I introduced them two and Caine eyes him up and down.

My brother notices this and starts to sweat. "N-no, as of now the lines have been silent. I haven't heard anything from the tail I put on Federick also".

Caine runs a hand through his hair. "They know we are coming, anything on this idiot's ex's?"

Ben shakes his head. "Trying to look her up is like looking for someone that never existed. Her father has her well-protected. For all, we know she might be out of the planet. They have also cut communication with the family as well. I guess word has spread that you have rejected her...I'm sad, the only thing she made that was good was that cheesecake" Ben joked and Caine's eyed him. When Caine looked away, I smacked Ben on the back of the head.

"Don't be stupid! Leave the jokes aside before I make a dent on your face, I am being serious right now Ben, my mate is Goddess knows where and you are here making jokes!"

Ben apologized and bowed his head at me. It was already getting dark, but we didn't stop. The scents were getting stronger and stronger, leading us to a heavily wooded area, with a small creek.

Caine signaled everyone to hide as the voices began to get closer to us. I hid behind a tree and Ben hides on the tree next to mine. We wait quietly as a young girl and a smaller boy come out of the bushes, they slowly make their way over to the small creek with little cups. The girl looked about eight and the boy looked like he could be around five or six. The boy seemed more excited to be here than the girl.

"Here is one!" The boy calls out to the girl as she follows behind him. They make their way to the creek and he seems to be looking at the water as if he was looking for something. "Mom said that we should help in looking for food!" he sounded excited.

"How are we going to feed everyone with those tiny fishes Kelvin?" she was clearly annoyed and she looked tired.

The boy drops his shoulders sightly in disappointment. "You are right"

As I watch the interaction between the kids, my nose picks up on a scent, it didn't take me long to realize that it was Aurora's scent and my wolf was ready to come out. She was here!

I knew that it wasn't going to take long until Caine would pick up on it. I look back to where he was hiding at and he is looking straight at me. His eyes are now going pitch black. He was going to lose control right here, and I had to do something. This was bigger than themselves right now.

I look towards the kids and wait until they turn their backs and begin to walk away. I used the opportunity to run over to Caine.

"Don't you fucking dare" I whisper harshly to him and his eyes switch back to normal.

He pushed me back and I stumbled on some small branches, the branches made noise and everyone stood quiet. I look around and some of his men are looking towards the kids.

"You heard that?" the girl asks the boy.

"Let's go back, okay. Don't worry, it might have been a rabbit or something" the young boy said in a very confident voice and I couldn't help but smile. I know it wasn't the right time to think about this but I hope that my pup takes care of his siblings and friends like this young boy lookout for this young girl. They both leave quickly and I mind link two of my best scouts; Lizzie and Michael, to follow them and then report back.

I turn my attention now on Caine as we all come out of hiding. "What the fuck Caine!" I curse as I push him back against the tree. My hands are now around the collar of his black t-shirt and he is just staring back at me, just as angry as I am.

"She is there!" Caine fights back.

"You don't think we all know that! We can't be stupid and rush in there without having a fucking plan! Your stupidity can get our mate killed. And I will die first before I see that happening". I whispered harshly before walking away to where my men were with Ben.

"We need a plan," Ben says, looking between Caine and me.

Caine brought his men over to where my men were at. We had a total of forty men around us.

"We only have around 40 men with us, and we are tired. I suggest we mask our scent and camp out a few yards away from the creek. I can send some of my fastest men to inform Caines pack and my own, we will have them meet us here and we attack tomorrow. But not until we hear back from the two scouts I sent out. We need to lay low, know their weak spots, and attack. We also need to know where she at. One wrong move from us and Goddess knows where they might take her or do to her, and forty men are not enough to take her back".

Caine didn't like the idea, but it was the best shot at getting Aurora back. As planned we moved a few yards out and camped out and wait for my scouts.

As the night rolls back, my two scouts come back.

"What did you find?" Caine asks them as one of Caines's guards gives Lizzie and Michael water bottles.

"They seemed to be getting settled in. They don't seem happy though, their own guards seem to be guarding their own pack members and the smell of fear is high in the air" Michael says as he plays with his knife.

Lizzie then steps forward shyly. She was small in size, but a great fighter and spy. She was perfect for any spy job and I had won over a lot of territories thanks to her. Out of everyone in the pack, she had the best of ears. "There seems to be something else," she says.

We all huddled closer trying to hear her since her voice was soft.

"I heard some of the elders speak up, two days from now someone will be visiting and taking away a few of the girls. Something about studying abroad but, they suspect it might be to traffick the girls. The elders seem to be worried about their pups and grand pups...seems that they are only targeting female wolves- and-um...they are hoping that Aurora challenges her father...the whole pack wants him gone".

A female wolf challenging an alpha meant bad news. And if her father was this type of man, and found out about this, it meant trouble. I was scared of what he would try to do to her.

Caine stood tall in the middle of all of us, he had shut his eyes hard before opening them. "I will send back a few of you so we can get the reinforcements that we need, but tomorrow night, we will sneak in, find out where she is at and destroy this whole place".

"Her pack seems to be innocent Caine, we can't just go in there and start killing-"

"Did he think about that before he sent his men to kill my men and my pups? I don't think so. We wait, and tomorrow night we attack" Caine says before leaving the campground. We sit back and back as he shifts into his wolf and runs off into the darkness of the night.
