I was going to tear these rogues apart and my wolf was hungry for blood after they interrupted our time with our mate. He had been in a foul mood all day and has been bugging me to go for a run, so we can keep our minds occupied from thinking about Aurora. He wanted her as much as I did and having the moment that we had a few minutes ago pushed my wolf to the edge. But we understood that she wasn't ready yet.

Rogues in this area were unheard of. The fact that they found out where my pack was located is beyond me. It also told me that there was a rat in our pack. And we had to kill it before it got out.

"Where is Thaddeus?" I ask furiously as I transformed halfway into my wolf. My claws and canines grew wider and my hearing and eyesight improved. We all had the ability to control if we wanted to go full wolf or not. But for this, I wanted to go halfway, because I needed equal strength.

Elijah ran up to me with Thaddeus and Lena was right behind him both looking like a mess. But we didn't have time for none of this "mate" drama right now, I had to make sure my pack was secured and we didn't have any more rogues coming in.

"Where is Aurora?" Thaddeus asks and Lena rolls her puffy and red eyes at the mention of Aurora's name.

For everything that was happening, her heartfelt too calm.

Thaddeus's noticed that I was staring at Lena and let out a growl. "She is too calm Thaddeus". Her calmness was suspicious to me. Why wasn't she freaking out like everyone else was?

"I just rejected her Caine. She is in shock still" he tries to reassure as he runs a hand through his hair. "Are you saying she might have led them here?" He asks shaking his head at me.

"I sure as hell think she did, how did she know where my pack is at huh?

Thaddeus looks at Lena suspiciously before looking at me.

"How did you know where my pack was at?" I confront Lena as I walk up to her. My face was on her face and my eyes had changed. She looked down at her feet "Answer me!" I growled.

"I had my father work on finding you-"

"Great now I'm under the radar of Russian Politics, I will deal with you two later-" I was raging. "Do you know the danger that you have put my pack in?!" Thaddeus had really done it this time.

"I didn't think this would happen, and then Thaddeus...he rejected me-" Lena cried and I couldn't help but to laugh.

I knew the type of woman like her. I knew that she only cared about herself, money, social status, and no one else. And I didn't even have to know her personally to know this. I can feel her energy and it wasn't a good one.

"That's the least of my worries, get her in a room, that Aurora is not in for the love of Goddess, and keep her there" I ordered and I watch as his eyes flicker from golden yellow to black. Thaddeus wasn't used to someone giving his rotten spoiled ass orders but he was in my pack.

He knew that he had to obey my rules. This was my pack, my family, my home, and at the moment, he was in my territory. He had to obey. Just like I would if the situation was reversed and it was his pack under attack.

Thaddeus nodded as he grabbed Lena by her arm and pulled her with him.

All of a sudden, I could hear pups screaming in the distance and I ran towards the screams as fast as I could with 20 wolves running behind me. As we all arrive in an opening in the woods. The scene before me made my blood boil, and I fought the beast that's in me, from coming out.

A rogue had one of our pups in his mouth, and another pup under his paw.

Both the pups seem to be alive but there was too much blood on them to tell if they would be able to make it. I let out a loud growl and the Rogue dropped the pup and before he started to run away. I mind-linked my men to take the pups to safety and to capture at least one rogue so we can interrogate.

I kept on running behind the rogue only to be pushed by a great force into a tree. I landed on my feet and I pushed myself off the tree and towards the other rogue that attacked me, landing a punch on his face, I watch him land on his feet unfazed, he looked bigger and very fit for a rogue.

He couldn't be an Alpha now, could he?

I stopped and watch as both rogues are now circling around me. Their smell was foul and it made my nose almost hurt. The one rogue was female small, but the one next to it smelled like a male. The bigger rogue had some strength in him. Still, he was no match for me.

From the corner of my eye I see that other rogues come and start circling me, their claws ready to tear into my flesh. A total of five rogues are circling around me, as I wait patiently for one of them to attack.

Just as I expected, one of the rogues launches at me and I grab on to him right before I rip both of his arms apart. The rogue falls on the cool wet ground howling in pain. Right at that moment, three of the other rogues jump to attack me and one by one I tear them apart. Leaving the bigger rogue for me.

I turn to him slowly, the rain falling hard on both of us now, "Who sent you?" I question, my voice calm but lethal. I can hear the rogues heart beat speeding up and I knew that he was not expecting this.

The rogue lets out a laugh before he howls loudly.

"This mother fuc-"

"Caine!" I heard a loud growl behind me.

"You son of a bitch, I thought your ass was half way across the ocean by now" I joke as he takes his shirt off before standing right next to me. His claws and fangs out, his eyes dark and hungry for blood.

"And let you have Aurora all by yourself? I don't think so"

I turn to him and see that he looks better, and has this smirk on his face.

"You idiot-"

"Heads up" Thaddeus warns as a new rogue comes charging towards me. In minutes we are circled by more rogues. The stench was intense. Why did these fuckers had to smell so bad.

We both fought along side each other and I would have to say, Thaddeus is pretty strong for a male that has just rejected his chosen mate. For many, the process of rejection affects both, making them weak. But it seemed like rejecting Lena gave him life. I couldn't help but to feel happy for him. I couldn't imagine being mated to a woman like her.

I grab the one rogue before I snap his neck. Alpha Thaddeus does the same but he ends up ripping the rogues head off, I watch as the blood splatters all over him. These damn British wolves were something else.

"Im going after the leader" I mind link Thaddeus and he nods before I take off running after the leader. The rogue noticed me running towards him and he takes off running faster, but he was no match for me.

I run faster and jump on his back, I grab him by the arms and dislocate them, and I quickly do the same with his legs. He still had some fight in him, which led me to think that he wasn't no ordinary rogue.

"Switch back!" I let my wolf do the talking. And the rogue transforms to his human form. He was young looking. His hair was neatly cut and and his face was clean. He had a few tattoos across his chest and he was welt built. The moment that he switched to human form, he had stopped smelling foul like a rogue would. "Who ordered this attack?" I beginning to question when I hear foot steps fast approaching me and I turn quickly. My foot still on the young male wolf neck.

"Answer" I threatened again as I press down harder on his neck with my boot.

It was still night time and the rain was falling hard. The sound of the rain hitting the leaves from the trees above me, made it difficult to hear what was around me. Only my breath and the young wolf breath could be heard.

"Caine!"

Out of the bushes comes Ally, she was covered in more blood than I remembered. She runs towards me before falling on her knees. "We got them all. Some retreated back Alpha". She whispers trying to catch her breath.

"Good" I say as I pick up the young male from the ground and start to drag him back with me. Ally follows quietly.

The smell of blood is heavy in the air as we start to get close to my pack grounds. "Do a count of the dead rogues, I need all of the captures rogues in the basement for interrogation, now!" I growl and Ally bows. She knew better than to question me at a time like this. I couldn't just kill them all, and we all knew that this was no ordinary attack. I had to get to the bottom of this and find out who ordered this. And what are they after.

As I arrive to the gates of the pack, I toss the male wolf to Elijah who was waiting for me with my warriors. "Take him to the prison and keep all of them there until I go down to interrogate them, the big one only talks to me" I tell Elijah, he nods before he picks up the rogue and walks away towards the direction of the prison, with four guards around him, making sure that the rogue wouldn't pull something and run away.

I begin to walk towards the village to see how much damage they have done. Luckily, they didn't burn anything. Only a few broken doors could be seen. I watch as my guards run inside the houses to check if everyone was okay.

One of the guard inspecting was my friend, Jordan, he sees me and runs toward me, he too was covered in blood but it was hard to tell if it was his or someone else's.

He catches me staring before raising both of his arms. "Don't worry boss, it's not mine" he says quickly. His eyes serious.

Jordan was the trainer for the warrior wolves. He was in charge of training them to become killing machines. That stop at nothing. He was one of the best, next to me.

"How many?" I ask him and he looks down.

"Only ten, two children, the youngest was two, and the rest were elders, Alpha" he replies sadly. "The two boys you find came across...they didn't make it, Caine"

"Take me to them" he nods.

On the cold wet grass, there were the bodies of the children and elders. They were sliced up and bitten. And my wolf was howling in both pain and anger when he told me this. I bend down on my knees and bow to them. My heart ached, for the dead pups and the others as well. They didn't deserve this. They did not deserve to die this way.

They set foot in my pack, hurt my people. They were going to pay for what they had done. I made a promise to them just now. That I was going to get them back for what they had done.

"How many guard and warriors?" I ask him.

I watch as Jordan clenches his jaw. And I knew the answer would be bad.

"Twenty-three dead, and two missing"

"Two missing?" I question. "Who?"

"Malaky and Erik" he says and I felt as if my chest had been hit by something.

"Aurora" I breath out as I start running toward my house. Stupid, I was fucking stupid!

"Alpha! What's wrong?" Jordan asks as he catches up to me.

"I left them to protect Aurora!"

"Fuck!" Jordan curses. "I'm going to warn the others"

I didn't care what he did. I just needed to find Aurora. As I arrive, I start to sniff around and a bunch of different smells hit my nose. But I couldn't smell her.

"Fuck, Goddess please" I pray as I run up the steps and into my room.

She wasn't here. The light were still off because of the storm. But only the candle was left, slowly lighting the corner of the room. As I look around the room, I see that it was a mess. The chairs were throw across the room, the blankets and covers from the bed were laying on the ground. At the sight of blood, I panicked, this was the first time I felt panic at the sight of blood, it was splattered on the walls and I got closer to it and touched it with my finger. I brought it up to my nose and felt relieved to know that it wasn't hers. It didn't smell like hers. It didn't have her scent.

"Alpha"

Elijah comes in quietly. He looks around too and his nose picks up. "Why does it smell like Alpha Thaddeus's mate in here?"

My ears perk up at this and I walk over to him. We both turn to a piece of cloth on the bed.

I pick it up and bring it to my nose. It smelled like Lena for sure, but there was something else. I pull the cloth away from my face and I try to hold my wolf back.

"Fucking shit! Bring Alpha Thaddeus up here now!" I order and Elijah mind links his men.

After a few minutes Thaddeus comes running. Sweat and blood still on his face and body.

"Where is your damn bitch at?!" I yell as I throw him the piece of cloth with chloroform.

"I left her downstairs in the kitchen with two of my guards- you...where did you find this?" He asks as he looks at the piece of fabric before bringing it up to his nose to sniff it.

Jordan comes then with two of his men in tail. "I can't find traces of Aurora anywhere Alpha"

Thaddeus eyes go wide when he hears the news about Aurora.

"Where the fuck is she?!" Thaddeus growls. I watch as his eyes go from his normal color to bright yellow.

"I swear Thaddeus, I fucking swear if something happens to her, and your little bitch was behind this I will tear her apart!" I growl as I kick one of the chairs. Elijah comes to my side quickly and tries to stay in between Thaddeus and I.

"Check the cameras. Even with the electricity outage, they have a generator that keeps them recording". Jordan says before leaving with a few of his men to check the camera.

"We should have marked her" Thaddeus says as he grabs the piece of cloth in his hands. "Bloody fuck" he curses as he throws the fabric on the bed.

I didn't wanted to hear it. I needed to know where she was.

"My Wolf is about to lose control. I suggest that you and Elijah leave the room before I tear you both apart" I warn and Thaddeus nods quietly as he begins to walk out of the room.

"If I find out, that Lena had something to do with this. I will see it that she never sees daylight again-".

"That's not good enough!" I scream at him.

"You are right, it isn't, but you didn't let me finish what I was trying to say"he says as he walks away. The look that he had in his eyes was lethal.

I couldn't help but to feel chills when he said that. It showed me that he and his wolf was hurting for Auroras absence and that he would do anything in his power to protect her and bring her back to us.

We had to find her. Right now, I needed to think, and calm my wolf down before go berserk and kill everyone here.

After a few hours, Jordan's men were able to pull all of the secure footage from around the house and inside but nothing could be seen. It seemed as if they controlled the cameras too.

"We are going to have to do this the hard way" Ally crosses her arms. "I'm going to interrogate the rogues and see if we can find something out-"

"Leave the bigger one for me" I say as I file a silver blade.

Silver was poison for us werewolves. It hurt a lot more and I was getting it ready for my little friend in the basement. Ally nods before leaving my office.

"Send men out and scout, report anything, and I mean anything suspicious back to me" I order before dismissing them.

"I'm going to-"

I didn't let Thaddeus finish as my fist connected with his face.

"This wouldn't have happened if you didn't let your mate in my pack, and without my permission!" I yell.

Thaddeus takes a few steps back before launching himself at me.

We fought for ten minutes, until Elijah comes in and gets in between us. "Alphas, Please" he pleads quietly as he stands in between us. "We don't have time for this, now get it together Alphas! Aurora is out there!"

I turn my face to Elijah and our foreheads almost touch, my eyes were on his and he quickly brought his eyes down. He was right, but I didn't wanted to hear it right now.

I pull back before walking out of the office.

Aurora was out there, probably hurting and we had nothing! I was angry and my wolf was going insane. He wanted to go out there and burn every pack to the ground until we find her.

The world knew about me. But they were going to see the other side of me that I was no longer scared to hide.
