Today was the lunch date of really close friends Ilyas Rizal and Io Shirai. The two agreed on a date at an Asian cuisine restaurant, and no one was more excited than Io, since she wants to taste food from Ilyas' native home.

The Joshi Judas woke up and made some coffee for her and Kairi. The Pirate Princess woke up as well with her messy bed hair while she wore a robe. Io smirked as she saw her best friend.

Io: ohayo Kairi-san

Kairi: mmhh, o-ohayo Io-san

Io: you two really shook the bed last night

The Joshi Judas smirked and teased Kairi.

Kairi: I can't help it, I was so thirsty for Kenji-kun and he felt so good inside me

Kairi giggled and blushed heavily while Io smiled and hugged her.

Io: you two are so kawaii

Kairi: says you, Io-san. I heard you were hanging around a certain Ilyas-kun

Io gasped and blushed as she poured two cups of coffee.

Io: who told you that?

Kairi: oh it was Candice-san, she got it from Cora-san. Are you two together already?

Io: iie, not yet. We are just really close friends

Kairi: ooh really close friends

Io: and... we have a date today

Kairi: aww! Kawaii! Where are you two going?

Io: we're having lunch at an Asian cuisine restaurant. I'm excited to taste some food from his native country

Kairi: oooh, that sounds delicious

Io: hai, I am excited already

Kairi then played the Uno reverse card on her best friend with a smirk

Kairi: don't do any funny business, young lady

Io: hai, oka-san

The two best friends giggled and shared a laugh while they hugged each other as they bond over a drink of coffee.

(Meanwhile with Ilyas)

Ilyas was at the gym working out with the members of Imperium to improve their physiques. Walter, Fabian and Marcel recently had their ring names changed so they can keep their real names to not have them trademarked. Walter was given the name of Gunther, while Marcel was given the name of Ludwig Kaiser and Fabian was given the name of Giovanni Vinci.

As the four international Superstars worked out, the Ring General took the chance to playfully tease his young student.

Gunther: so Ilyas, I see that you're close with Io

Ilyas' eyes widen as his mentor somehow knew while Kaiser and Vinci smirked.

Ilyas: w-wait, how did you know that, General?

Gunther: well while you were in the locker room, Cora shared a little story to us

Ilyas: Cora, of course

Giovanni: are you just amici or?

Ilyas: yes, just friends for now, but we're gonna have a lunch date later; I'm gonna share a piece of my culture 

Gunther nodded in approval of his student's plan. After finishing working out, Ilyas said his goodbyes to Imperium as he drove back to his apartment building and washed up so he can feel fresh and relaxed while he will be on his date with Io.

(An hour and a half later)

Ilyas was all dressed up in casual clothing and was ready for his lunch date; while he was fixing his shirt, he got a text message from Io.

Io: Ilyas-kun! I'm already dressed up, so I'll wait for you at my place

Ilyas smiled as he replied back to her.

Ilyas: hai okay Io-san, I was about to leave, I'll be on my way

After sending the text message to Io, the Descendant of Philippines' national hero left his apartment and drove off to the Joshi Judas' apartment.

(A few minutes later)

Ilyas parked in front of the building and rode up the elevator to the floor where Io's apartment room is. He then knocked on the door, but it wasn't the Genius of the Sky who answered the door, instead it was her best friend Kairi.

Kairi: oh konnichiwa Ilyas-kun, Io-san is getting ready, you can come in

Ilyas: arigato Kairi-san

Kairi let Ilyas in and the Descendant made himself at home as he took a seat on the couch.

Kairi: Io-san, your otto (husband) is here!

She giggled as she teased her best friend. Ilyas knew what the word otto meant since he wrestled in Japan, he smirked as he heard the sister like banter between the two Stardom alumni.

Io: Kairi-san!

Io was in her room putting on the finishing touches with some lipstick. After a minute, Io came out from her room and smiled as she saw Ilyas.

Io: konnichiwa Ilyas-kun

Ilyas saw and he was in awe of the Genius of the Sky's beauty.

Ilyas: wow... Io-san, you look so beautiful today

Io smiled and blushed as she feels appreciated of his sweet compliment.

Ilyas: ready to go, Io-san?

Io: hai, let's go

The two exited the apartment building, but Kairi took one more opportunity to playfully tease her bestie.

Kairi: have fun, kids

Io: arigato, oka-san!

(Small time skip)

Ilyas and Io pulled up to an Asian cuisine restaurant that serves a lot of food in a buffet style.

Io: all you can eat!

Ilyas: and I can smell it and we didn't even go inside yet

The two got inside the restaurant and saw rows of assorted food ranging from Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Filipino food and delicacies. They picked their booth and went to get some plates of delicious food from their respective cultures. 

Ilyas got two plates of iconic Filipino staple foods such as lumpia, chicken adobo, a small bowl of arrozcaldo and some desserts such as bibingka and sapin-sapin.

As for Io, she got a plate of sushi, fresh raw sashimi, fried tempura shrimp and sukiyaki noodles with a small side of wasabi. Before she starts to eat, Io followed her traditional Japanese culture as she puts her hands together.

Io: itadakimasu

Ilyas smiled and did it with her and the two started to eat.

Io: mmmhh fresh and delicious sushi

Ilyas: oh man, I feel like I am back home thanks to this adobo

Io: what does it taste like, Ilyas-kun?

Ilyas: which? The adobo?

Io: hai!

Ilyas: oh it tastes sweet and delicious, Io-san. You can try some

Io smiled and took a piece of chicken with some sauce and ate it. Her eyes widen as she savor the sweetness of the sauce.

Io: mmmhh, it's delicious

Ilyas: the adobo is a staple from my home

Io: it is really good, Ilyas-kun. You want try some sashimi?

Ilyas: I have ate a lot of those in Japan, but I never tried it with wasabi

Io: oh why?

Ilyas: I didn't like the smell of it

Io: oh hai, here is your chance to try some

Ilyas: thanks Io-san

Ilyas took a piece of sashimi and dipped it in the wasabi, but a little too much of it.

Io: uh Ilyas-kun-

It was too late as Ilyas ate the wasabi dipped sashimi. The Descendant chewed and nodded.

Ilyas: mmhh, it is good

Then the hot and spicy kick of the wasabi kicked in, making Ilyas sweat and pulled on his shirt.

Ilyas: oh my goodness... wow!

Io giggled.

Io: nani Ilyas-kun?

Ilyas: oh god it's hot!

Io giggled and laughed.

Io: drink some water

Ilyas quickly drank his glass of water to cool down the spice effect of the wasabi. The Descendant took deep breaths while Io giggled and held his hand while stroking it with her thumb.

Io: you okay, Ilyas-kun?

Ilyas: hai, damn that is hot!

Io: I was gonna say, just put a little bit of wasabi

Ilyas: thanks for letting me know next time

The Descendant took another drink of water while Io giggled.

After Ilyas cooled off, the two friends continued to eat while they also share each other's foods. Io loved the taste of the adobo and the lumpia dipped in the sweet chili sauce.

After finishing their main courses, it was time for Io to try some Filipino delicacies and desserts.

Io: ooh, what is this with coconut on it?

Ilyas: this is called bibingka, it's a kind of rice cake mixed with coconut milk and sugar

Io: oooh, let me try some

The two shared the bibingka and ate it; Ilyas savored the taste while Io chewed and tasted it.

Io: mmmhh it's sweet and good, the coconut shredding makes it really good

Ilyas: I'm glad you liked it, Io-san

Io loved the bibingka so much, that a piece of coconut was on her cheek.

Ilyas: oh Io-san, you got some coconut on your cheek

He smiled and wiped off the coconut from Io's cheek, making her blush. Then Ilyas introduce Io to another Filipino dessert, sapin-sapin.

Io: now it's in three layers, so does it mean three different flavors?

Ilyas: hai, so the orange layer is made from jackfruit, the white layer has no flavor and the purple layer is made from ube malaya

Io: hmm? Ube? What is that?

Ilyas: oh ube is made from mashed and boiled purple yam mixed with condensed milk

Io: ooh, that sounds good

Io sliced a piece and ate it and savored the taste of the three different layers.

Io: mmhh oishi!!

Ilyas: you like it?

Io: hai! It's so good!

Ilyas decided to give the slice of sapin-sapin to Io, making her smile big as she ate and finished it.

Io: arigato Ilyas-kun

(Small time skip)

As the two drove back to the apartment, an idea rushed through Io's head as she noticed Ilyas yawning.

Io: oh Ilyas-kun, if you want you can stay over for a while at my place and you can rest

Ilyas: oh I do feel tired Io-san, sure I can stay over

Io smiled and laid on his shoulder as they continued to drive.

(A few minutes later)

The two parked in front of the Joshi Judas' apartment. Then they went upstairs to the apartment.

Io: Kairi-san told me she is out with her boyfriend, so we have the place to ourselves

Ilyas: ooh alright

Ilyas blushed a bit. Then the two went inside and the Descendant yawned.

Io: let's go to the room, Ilyas-kun

Ilyas nodded and instantly crashed on the bed. Io giggled as she got in the bed with him and laid on his chest. She smiled as she listened to Ilyas' heart beating for her as she thought to herself.

Io: I hope his heart beats for me

She saw that Ilyas was fast asleep, Io smiled and kissed Ilyas on his cheek and then she fell asleep on his chest. Ilyas fixed his position by wrapping his arm around Io, making her smile and melt in her sleep.
