Io couldn't stop thinking about her first date with Vasil last week, and she had a dreamy smile on her face which caught the attention of Candice and Mia.

Candice: hey Io

Io: hmm?

Mia: you've been smiling since you got here, what's up?

Io: oh, I just had the best weekend last week

Candice: ooh, do tell

Io: I had my first date with Vasil!

Mia: aww!

The HBIC playfully pinched the Genius of the Sky's blushing cheek.

Candice: where did you two had your first date?

Io: at the beach, and Vasil was so kawaii

Mia: can you elaborate?

Io: he was lost when he saw me in my two piece swimsuit

Candice: you love teasing him, huh?

Io: he is so cute when I tease him

(Meanwhile)

Vasil was hanging out with Adam in the locker room.

Adam: so Io has been messing with you, huh?

Vasil: if that's her way of flirting, then I can play that game with her

Adam: do you like her?

Vasil: I like her, she likes me; our feelings are mutual

Adam: and it will be more than that soon

Vasil chuckled as he taped his wrists. The matches for tonight was a six woman tag match as Io teams with Candice and Mia to take on three fourths of the MMA Horsewomen; Vasil has a one on one bout against Cameron Grimes. What the Vulture don't know is that his battle and altercation with Dominik Dijakovic weeks prior has garnered the attention of the NXT North American Champion, Keith Lee.

Adam: hey dude, it looks like your girlfriend is up first

Vasil: Io's not my girlfriend

Adam: yet

Vasil: whatever man

The two friends watched as the match started. Vasil watched as Io started off with Marina Shafir.

(Fast forward)

The legal women in the ring were Shayna and Io; Candice and Mia were fighting the other Horsewomen at ringside and eventually to the ramp. Io went for a shot, but Shayna ducked it and locked in the Kirafuda Clutch; however, Io got out of it with and broke out of the hold with a Stunner. Then Io laid out Shayna with a dropkick and went to the top rope for her moonsault. The crowd popped as the Genius of the Sky pinned the NXT Women's Champion clean in the ring.

Vasil stood up and clapped for the Genius of the Sky which brought out teasing grins from Adam.

Adam: ooh, someone is happy his girlfriend won

Vasil: whatever man

(Half an hour later)

It was time for Vasil's match against Cameron Grimes, and the Vulture must have eyes at the back of his head to keep a look out for Dijakovic or Keith Lee or probably both of them. As he was walking towards the gorilla, he heard someone call his name out, but he know who it was.

Io: Vasil-kun!

Vasil: Io-san

He saw the Genius of the Sky running towards his direction.

Io: did you see my match?

Vasil: I did, you did really well out there and you pinned the champion

Io: aww, arigato Vasil-kun; you have a match now?

Vasil: I have to be at the gorilla in one minute; I'll see you later

Io: wait!

Vasil: what is it?

Io went on her tip toes and kissed him on the cheek.

Io: good luck, Vasil-kun

Vasil: a-arigato

The Vulture left and didn't notice as Io was blushing heavily. The Genius of the Sky went to join her friends in the locker room.

Mia: where did you go?

Candice: I know where; Io wished her boyfriend luck

Io: stop!

She covered her face with her hands.

Candice: your boyfriend's match is about to start

Feeling the presence of Double D around him, Vasil kept his focus on the task ahead, which is Cameron Grimes.

Grimes and Vasil locked up and the match went underway. Grimes went for an early Cave In, but Vasil countered with a dropkick.

(In the back)

Io was really paying attention to Vasil's athleticism while her cheeks were red as tomatoes.

Io's mind: Vasil-kun is so good

(In the ring; fast forward towards end)

Grimes went for the Cave In, but he was caught by Vasil and his ferocious strength; then he set him up for the Crushing Devotion sitout powerbomb. However, the match ended as Dijakovic came in and attacked Vasil, causing the match to end in a disqualification.

Vasil fought back against Double D with a flurry of punches until he was overwhelmed following a shot from behind from Grimes. Dijakovic and Grimes put boots onto Vasil until they were interrupted by Keith Lee's theme.

The Limitless One came in and took down Dijakovic and Grimes with a monstrous shoulder block.

Vasil joined the fray and put punches to Grimes before nailing him with Black Thunder. Meanwhile, Keith leveled Double D with a Spirit Bomb.

As the dust settled, there was a face off between Vasil and Keith. The Limitless smirked and raised his North American title, teasing a potential show down between Grimes, Lee, Dijakovic and Vasil for the brown strap title.

(Backstage)

Vasil walked backstage to his locker room to wash up. After he changed into his casual clothes, he heard a knock on the door.

Io: Vasil-kun?

Vasil: yeah?

Io: are you ready to go?

Vasil: yeah, I just finished changing

He got out of his locker room to see Io.

Io: let's go?

Vasil: yeah, let's go

The Genius of the Sky hopped on his back for a piggyback ride. She whispered in his ear which made him shiver.

Io: carry me, Vasil-kun

Vasil: o-okay

She smiled and laid tucked her head in his shoulder with a dreamy and cute smile on her face.

(At their room)

Vasil saw on Twitter that NXT has confirmed a tag match for next week which is Vasil will team with Keith to take on the team of Dijakovic and Grimes. Io came out of the shower with a wrapped towel around her body. She had an idea while mischievous smirk was on her face.

Io: Vasil-kun?

Vasil: yes- oh my god!

He immediately turned away from Io while she laughed at his expense.

Vasil: Io-san, can you put on some clothes please?

Io giggled and got closer to him, making him more comfortable.

Io: you're so cute, Vasil-kun

She kissed his cheek before going into her room to change.

(A minute later)

She came out wearing her merch shirt and a pair of shorts, showing off her toned legs. She sat down and got close to Vasil.

Io: so Vasil-kun, what do you have for next week?

Vasil: oh a tag match for next week

Io: so Vasil, since we know that we like each other

Vasil: right, mutual understanding

Io: well, I just want to tell you that my feelings for you have grown

Vasil: hmm?

Io: well, I want to do this...

She leaned in and kissed him on the lips, surprising the Vulture; he kissed her back with his hands on her hip and leg.

After a minute, she pulled back.

Vasil: Io-san, will you be my girlfriend?

Io: well, will you be my boyfriend?

Vasil: we'll answer at the same time

Vasil & Io: yes

The two stared at each other and laughed.

Vasil: well, I'm gonna sleep now

Io: uh, can you come sleep with me in the bed?

Vasil: well since we're boyfriend and girlfriend, so yes

Io smiled and pulled him by the arm to their room. Vasil laid in bed and Io went on top of him.

Io: good night, Vasil-kun

Vasil: good night, Io-san

They kissed before falling asleep together.
