《Legendary (Discontinued for now)》Chapter 18: Hosu

"NOMU" Atlas shouted. He prepared his fist but was stopped by Torino.
"No! Stay here. Don't forget what I told you in the morning. Luck will not always be on your side. Stay here! And don't even think about leaving the train! " Torino shouted.
He didn't waste a single second and used his quirk to get the Nomu and himself out of the train.
"Please remain calm! Everyone!" The ticket collector shouted as he helped the injured Pro.
"The heroes will be here at any moment now!"
Just then, he noticed a boy in a white and yellow costume walking towards the giant hole made by the monster.
"Hey! Kid, where are you going ?!"
To which Atlas simply replied;
"Outside... I need to stop that thing!"
Atlas then activated his flight and quickly went to the sky, ignoring whatever the ticket collector was saying about it being dangerous outside.
'I need to fly low... That thing looked different... But those lifeless eyes and exposed brain. Could it somehow be related to Nomu?'
Atlas heard panicked screams of people coming from the road below.
'There! That must be where Torino took that 'Nomu'. But... What if that thing is as powerful as the one from before?'
And suddenly he was filled with dread and horror the moment he realized what he just said in his mind.
'Oh no... If that turns out to be true, Everyone in this whole city is in danger. Gran Torino, Iida... Damn it! What should I do?! I don't think I'll win if I fight. Think Izuku! Think!!'
Just then, he got an idea... but before he was able to put his idea into action, he heard someone shouting his friend's name.
Atlas without wasting any time quickly went to the ground and began running towards the call out, which was in turn directly coming from the heart of the commotion.
Atlas ran through the crowd and turned the corner only to see a sideways bus flying towards him. But before it could hit him, the bus collided with a car and exploded releasing a blinding flash. The flash died down and revealed something that made a cold shiver run down Atlas' spine.
Two more Nomus... One had dark purplish skin, similar to that of the USJ Nomu, and the other had wings. Both of them were swatting the pros away like insects.
'What the...?! More Nomus?!'
"Manual! Put out the fire!"
"R-Right"
Atlas immediately recognized the voice and began running towards Manual, who was using his water bending quirk to direct the water from a fire hydrant to the flames caused by the crash.

"Why did you have to run off at a time like this Iida!" Manual muttered. Atlas heard this and stopped.
'Wait...Iida ran off? At a time like this? He isn't the type of a guy to run away from situations like this.'
"Hey, you're on the way! Get back!"
Atlas turned and saw a female pro was standing in front of him as if to shield him from the fire and the villains. Atlas blurted out the only thing that came to his brain.
"S-Sorry!" He apologized
"We'll hold them here. Follow the police's evacuation instructions." She commanded.
'Darn it. I need to find Iida. It's not like him to go off with such a major incident in front hi-' Everything clicked.
'Hosu city... Nomus... League of Villians... Stain... Engenium...Iida... I knew he was up to something stupid.'
Atlas knew he had to find his friend, and by the looks of it, the pros were somehow keeping the Nomus, or at least Nomu like creatures contained. But it wouldn't be enough. So he began putting his previous idea (which was interrupted before) into action. Atlas quickly activated his gauntlet device and tapped on the SecDef icon. A confirmation box appeared, along with a message option, where Atlas quickly typed a note: 'Load incendiary ammo' and tapped the 'Confirm' option.
With reinforcements on the way, Atlas knew he had to find his friend before it was too late.
He quickly turned around. Ready to leave, but noticed another horrifying scene. The fire was becoming bigger, despite Manual's attempts to put it out. But that wasn't the part that Atlas was afraid of. The fire was spreading... And it was moving towards a gas station via the burning fuel from the bus and the car. Moreover, there was a fuel tanker present in the gas station. The fuel tanker could have been empty, but that didn't make the situation any better. Atlas knew he had to do something, or everyone would die.
He then remembered the incident that occurred at the beach a few months ago. Atlas recalled that the shock wave from the 120SP impacts were powerful enough to repel the mini tsunami. Maybe if he Solar Impacts the sky, the shock wave would put out the fire...? But then again, it could also accelerate the speed of the fire by pushing more oxygen into the fire and kill everyone a few seconds early. Whatever he would do, he'd have to do it quick, as the fire was getting dangerously close to the station.

"Fuck it" Atlas was not the type of person to swear, but at right now, he didn't care.
"EVERYONE!" He shouted, trying to get the attention of the other heroes, but they were too occupied.
Seeing that nobody was paying any attention to him, began directing Raw Solar energy throughout his body and began to glow very brightly. This got the attention of most of the pros.
"EVERYONE! THE FIRE IS SPREADING AND IS ABOUT TO REACH THE FILLING STATION" He shouted, pointing towards the station.
"I CAN PUT IT OUT, BUT ALL OF YOU WILL HAVE TO HOLD ON TO SOMETHING STRONG. PLEASE TRUST ME! OR ALL OF US WILL BE DEAD!"
At first, Atlas received some sceptical stares from the pros, but they soon listened to him and held on to things like lamp posts and guard walls. Even the pros who were fighting the Nomus retreated and held on to the closest post or wall they could find. As soon as he saw that all of the pros holding on, he knew what had to be done. Atlas prepared his right arm with the strongest Impact, I.e, Solar Impact and punched towards the sky.
The shockwave from the Impact was strong enough to push all the air out of the surrounding, and even throw the two Nomus to the wall behind them. Atlas then felt as if his arm was being fried, although, he expected that. As soon as the air returned, Atlas looked around and saw that most of the fire was out, but the fire which was moving towards the gas station was still somehow active. Without wasting time, he used his left hand and Punched towards the sky again. And this time, the fire was finally gone. But both of Atlas's arms were shattered. Atlas knew that time was running out, so instead wasting time on selective healing body part healing (which requires less energy, but a lot of concentration), he used his Super Heal ability (which does not require any form of concentration, but consumes a lot of energy). As Atlas healed himself, the pros went back to engaging the Nomus. Atlas seeing that the fight had resumed, began running the other way. But before he was about to leave the square, one of the heroes shouted a few things as he fought one of the Nomus.
"Thanks for the help, kid! Now get to the safe zone designated by the police... That way." The pro shouted as he somehow managed to point towards the road from where Atlas came a few minutes ago.
"Things are about to become really hairy... Now go!" He commanded while blocking a punch from the deep purple Nomu.
Atlas nodded and took off towards the way the hero pointed. But the moment he was out of sight of the pros, Atlas activated flight, and began flying low, through the alley ways in the opposite direction. This was because he remembered something he read about Stain. The Hero Killer always attacked in secluded and quiet parts of a town or city. And he knew that Iida, if he went looking for stain, will also look for dark parts of town.
While flying through the alleyways, Atlas thought that he saw Endeavour as well as Shoto running towards the fight. Seeing this, Atlas stopped and quickly took out his phone and selected the send location option. Since Atlas was exhausted and time was running out, instead of looking through his contacts for Shoto's number, he decided to select all contacts. But he didn't immediately send the location as he first had to find Iida. Also it was entirely possible that the two (Iida and Stain) were in completely different parts of town. So he resumed his search.
'Where are you, Iida... I hope I'm not late' He thought. Something he didn't know, was that he was about to find Iida sooner than he knew.
As he flew through a particular alleyway, he caught a glimpse of something in his peripherals. Atlas quickly activated Supertime. The whole world slowed down. Atlas slowly moved his eyes and saw Iida... on the floor... With a sword coming down on him. Atlas acted quickly. He deactivated Supertime, and flew straight towards his friend.
"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HIM!" Atlas shouted as he used a very weak impact, and punched the 'man with the sword'. He used the weak impact for two reasons. One, because he was exhausted, and two, because he didn't want to accidentally kill a person. And although the Impact was weak, it was still powerful enough to knock Stain back a few meters. Atlas then quickly used his phone ( which was still in his hand) and sent his location to everyone in his phone book.
"And who might you be?" Stain inquired, his voice filled with malice, as he recovered from the impact.
"Someone who'll stop you from killing people!" Was Atlas's response.
