"Being in love, that's how you know you're alive right?"

Song- levitating; Dua Lipa

A smile sits on my face as my head rest on Cameron's bare chest. His hands run up and down my back leaving a trail of tingles following. We sit in silence for a bit, soaking each other in.

"Cam?" I ask softly, propping my chin on his chest so I can see his face. He smiles and kisses my nose.

"Yeah?" His hand brushes a piece of hair out of my eyes.

"What do we do now?" I question, running my hand down his cheek.

"Whatever you want to do Lee, I'm not going to push you on this." He tells me, a simple popping out of his right cheek. "But I however want to keep doing this." He kissing me deeply, smiling into the kiss.

"I do too."

"Then it's decided, we're together." He chuckles, cheering silently.

"But we can't tell anyone, not yet at least." Who knows what Theo would do. He would probably flip out. He hates change, like when we went from middle school to high school he completely freaked out.

"Yeah, we should wait a while." He nods, interlocking our fingers and setting our combined hands on his chest. I lean my head on him again, wrapping my arm around him. "Besides, sneaking around is pretty hot."

"Shut up." I laugh, slapping his chest.

I fall asleep with Cams fingers making patterns on the bare skin on my back. His heart beat strums in my ear, lulling me into a soft slumber.

And that night I dream of Cam and I, no nightmares,

The drive home on Monday was torture. We were all majorly hung over from the night before and took shifts driving. Cameron and I woke up this morning to Theo banging on my door. I forced Cameron under my bed and opened the door, forcing Theo upstairs.

When we finally got home, we all went our separate ways. Theo went straight to his room and fell asleep. Grayson ate the entire kitchen before falling asleep on the couch.

I instead, went to my room and pulled out the journal that Julie got me. I opened it and wrote my name on the front page in big cursive letters with some little designs around it. Then I flip to the next page and right a bullet point.

I rack my head for 5 things I like about myself. It takes a while but when I finally get them done I go to another page. I write the date on the front and then write about the entire weekend, mostly Cam and I.

A yawn escapes from my lips so I close the journal and set it beside my bed. I then get ready to go to sleep and crawl back in bed dosing off.

My alarm blares in my ear, waking me up. I slam my hand onto the table and try to find my phone. When I reach it, I turn my alarm off and open my eyes. After sitting on my phone for a while , I get out of bed and go to the bathroom.

I get dressed in a blue Jean skirt, a tank top with a flannel over it. I put my hair into 2 French braids and do my regular light makeup. Then I head into the kitchen where mom is drinking her coffee and reading the paper.

"Morning mom" I kiss her cheek and pour myself some coffee.

"Good morning sweetheart, how'd you sleep?" She asks, setting down the paper.

"Good." I say, taking a sip of the steaming coffee.

"Any nightmares?"

"Nope, none." I say pridefully. A proud looks forms on her face.

"Good, I'm glad." She pats my shoulder, standing up and setting her cup and empty plate in the sink. "Dave is going to take you to therapy at 1:30."

"Okay." I nod, glad I'll get to miss gym today. I hate gym with a burning passion.

"Morning my lovely family!" Theo says loudly, skipping into the kitchen. Grayson comes in behind him, looking bummed.

"What's up with you?" I ask Gray, drinking my coffee.

"School." He mumbles, pouring some cereal for himself. Theo makes himself some toaster waffles and we all eat together while mom gets ready. She leaves after saying goodbye as we finish breakfast.

When I'm done, I make Theo do the dishes and I go to my room. I put my journal and diabetic bag into my backpack and go to the living room. The second Cameron pulls up, I rush outside to beat the boys.

They both curse at me as I climb into the passenger side but I just flip them off and ignore them. Cam turns to me with a dopey grin "morning"

"Morning'" I mock him with a chuckle.

"You look beautiful today." He tells me as he starts the trunk and pulls away.

"Just because we're together now doesn't mean you have to be all sappy." I flick his cheek. He shakes his head and chuckles.

"I was just trying something new" he informs me, flicking my leg. While we drive, he keeps one hand on the steering wheel and the other on my thigh.

When we get to school, he removes his hand and we meet the rest of our friends. Sara teaches a interesting lesson, interesting because we talked the entire time and she threatened to ground us all.

"I'm not even your child." Asher comments, putting a foot on the table and Sara pushes it off.

"Your eat all my food and watch my tv, your basically my child. Which means I have grounding rights." She tells him, walking back to the front of the class.

"Awe, little Asher got in trouble." I say in a baby voice, pinching his cheek.

"Shut up"

During second I sit with Addie and Brianna. My phone buzzes in my pocket and I glance at our teacher who's half asleep at her desk. I pull out my phone and see a message from Cam.

Trying to hide my smile, I raise my hand. The teacher looks up with a raised brow. "Can I go to the bathroom." She waves her hand and nods before closing her eyes again.

"Where are you going?" Addie question.

"Bathroom, I need to fix my bra." I lie since she knew I went to the bathroom before class. She nods and I stand up, grabbing a hall pass.

When I get to the stairwell, I'm yanked under it and pushed agains the wall. He leans down and kisses me deeply. After a few minutes we pull apart.

"We need to get back to class." I say, fixing my hair.

"Why?"

"Because we're gonna get caught."

"Fine" he pokes his bottom lip out childishly.

"Fine, one more minute."

"And I broke you out of jail." Dave says when I get into his car.

"You're a wanted man now." I tease, buckling up so he can drive. The hospital that Julie works at is one town over. It's a newer building and looks like it came straight from a tv show.

When we get there I tell him thank you and he informs me that he'll be here when I get out. I shut the door and walk in the large sliding doors. I sign myself in and get a name tag before going up the elevators that are made of glass to the 8th floor.

When I get to the right floor, I go to the waiting room and tell another receptionist my name who tells me to wait as she calls Julie. I wait awkwardly noticing only a few random adults and couple kids scattered around the waiting room.

"Marlee?" The receptionist calls. "She's ready for you now."

I walk to her office and knock on the door.

"Marlee!" Julie smiles brightly "how are you?"

"I'm good." I say, sitting on the couch with my journal in my lap.

"Did you get to do any journaling this past week?"

"Yeah" I nod my head and glance at my lap.

"How do you like it?" She clicks her pen and writes something in her notebook.

"It's okay"

She asks me about my weekend and I tell her a quick summary, minus the Cameron stuff. That is until she asks a couple more questions and I end up spilling all of my guts to her. It felt good to let it all out.

We discuss what I'm ready for right now and what I'm not, along with some healthy boundary's for Cam and I. When it was almost time to go, she asks me a question.

"So I know you're a really talented artist but I haven't heard you talk about it recently." She states, closing her notebook. "When's the last time you've drawn or painted?"

My mind goes to my art supplies that are stuffed under my bed. "It's been a while"

"Why is that you think?"

"It just felt like I couldn't when all the Evan stuff was going on. I don't know how to explain it but it was as if it was too hard." I say awkwardly, trying to form the words to match how I felt.

"Maybe this week that's what you can work on, trying to get back into it." She suggest. "From what your mom told me when I met her a few weeks ago, you have some real talent."

Dave drops me off at the house. I don't notice Cams truck across the street so when he's in my bed, laid across it, I squeal. "You scared the shit out of me!"

"Whoops" he grins in a devious way.

"What are you even doing here?" I ask, setting my backpack on the ground and tossing my journal on my dresser.

"Everyone went to watch a movie so I said I had something to do." He shrugs, standing up and walking behind me, placing his hands on my hips.

"You could've went." I tell him, looking back at him.

"I could've but I'd rather be here." He says softly, kissing me. We both lay on my bed, talking. "So why do girls wear makeup?"

"Huh?" I question, giving him a look.

"Not like that, I mean you look gorgeous with or without makeup." He says quickly with wide eyes.

"You know it takes real talent to pull off makeup." I comment, tightening the hair thing around my braid.

"I bet I could pull it off."

"Wanna prove it?"

I force him to sit up cross, legged on my bed. I sit across from him with my makeup sprawled between us. I start out with foundation, when I put it on his face he shivers.

"Ew, that's cold and wet." He grimaces as I blend it out. When I open my baking powder container, he looks at me strangely. "Why are you putting flour on my face?"

"It's baking powder you idiot." I reply, tapping it into his face:

"It looks like I'm doing coke." He picks up random makeup items, examining them. He holds up contour and asks "do you put the shit stuff on my face now?"

"Not yet" I do his eyebrows next and then lean back "what color eyeshadow do you want?"

He stares straight into my eyes for a minute "blue"

I put blue in his crease and blend it out before putting glitter on the lid. When I'm done with his eyeshadow I grab my eyelash curler. I go to put it on his lashes but he leans back so far he almost falls off the bed.

"Woah, what's that?" He looks scared and be points at the curler in my hands.

"An eyelash curler."

"It looks like a murder weapon." He slowly takes it from my hands and studies it. "Are you planning to kill me?"

"No, not yet at least. It's too bright outside." I smirk, snatching it up and clamping it. He flinches with fear in his eyes. I grab his chin and pull his face closer to me. When I curl his lashes he whimpers. I laugh as I do his other eye.

"That's a torture method."

"You're such a drama queen."

I finish the rest of his makeup and pack it all into a makeup bag. He stands up and looks at himself in the mirror making a bunch of different faces. "So was I right or was I right?"

"Fine, I guess you were right." I say and he cheers. He takes a bunch of pictures before washing the makeup off. When he's done, we make out for a bit before laying in bed talking about our days. A car pulls up and we both hop up.

"There here." I tell him, looking out the window. We both rush into the living room and sit on opposite sides of the couch, turning the tv on to a random show.

Theo burst through the door holding 2 grocery bags "honey I'm home!"
