He walked down the street with a glint in his eyes and lips parted. His head held up high with one hand on his pocket.

There was a string attached to his heart that connects to mine as my mouth began to twitch into a smile.

The street spun and turned into a room with no windows nor doorsㅡjust the two of us. He held out his hand to reach for me as I did.

We triedㅡwe stretched our arms like no tomorrow, but despite the string that bind our hearts it just wasn't meant to be.
