Narrator's POV
Both Tom and Hadrian received letters from the Ministry the evening the article came out.
"Dear Lord Preverell-Potter-Gryffindor and Lord Slytherin-Gaunt,
You both are formally invited to the trial of Possibly Ex-Minister Cornelius Oswald Fudge.
The trial and possible voting will be located in the Wizengamot Meeting Room in the Ministry Building at eight thirty in the morning on July 10, this Saturday.
If you are unable to attend let us know by owl or we will assume you are coming.
May your gold overflow,
Judge Scott Wayne."

On July 10, Tom and Hadrian —who was wearing a simple long-sleeved black dress— apparated to the Ministry Building and entered the meeting room.

The royal couple quickly found their assigned balcony, entered it, and sat on the two supplied wooden chairs.
Their balcony was labeled with a sign that had their names, all of their lordships, and their political party, the Sötét Party.
Within a few minutes, the other Lords and Ladies arrived, as well as the Aurors bringing in Cornelius Fudge and Judge Wayne.
Judge Wayne sat in the Chief Warlock's balcony with Lucius while Narcissa and Draco sat at the Malfoy balcony; Draco's attention was captured by Hermione who was sitting at her balcony with Barty —since his father still had the Crouch lordship.
Hadrian and Tom's fingers laced together as the meeting began, "Lords, Ladies and Heirs, today you will be our jury to see if Cornelius Oswald Fudge, possibly former Minister of Magic, broke two ancient laws." Judge Wayne addressed
"Cornelius, how do you plead?" Lucius, the impromptu Chief Warlock, asked him
Fudge hesitated, "N-not guilty."
"Please administer the veritaserum." Judge Wayne asked the Aurors
One Aurors restrained Fudge while the other forced the potion down Cornelius' throat.
"State your full name." Lucius ordered Fudge once the potion activated
"Cornelius Oswald Fudge." Cornelius monotony answered
"Four years ago did you perform magic in front of a female muggle to impress her?" Judge Wayne asked
"Yes." Fudge robotically replied
"Do you admit to breaking the Stature of Secrecy, our most important law?" Lucius asked him
"Yes." Fudge answered, shame in his eyes
"Do you admit to using your position to get out of punishment?" Lucius continued
"Yes." Cornelius replied, knowing there was no way he could save his position
"Have you been secretly with Albus Dumbledore to side with him in his private war, even though the law says it is illegal to do so?" Judge Wayne asked

"Yes." Fudge said, praying that Dumbledore could fix his situation
"Jury, please vote for his innocence or guilt." Lucius told the Lords, as buttons appeared before them
Both Tom and Hadrian pressed the red button labeled "Guilty" that was next to the green one that read "Innocent".
Once everyone had voted, the votes appeared on the screen.
"Cornelius Oswald Fudge," Judge Wayne announced "you have been found guilty for breaking two of our ancient laws, and will be sentenced to life in Azkaban."
"NO! PLEASE! NO!" Fudge screamed as Aurors dragged him away
"On a happier note, we now need to vote for the new Minister of Magic. Do we have any candidates?" Lucius asked
Bartemius Crouch Snr, Barty's father and a light wizard, stood up and announced, "I'll give it a shot."
"Anyone else?" Judge Wayne asked
"I appoint Lucius Malfoy!" Someone announced
"I second that!" Some else added
"We'll vote on it then, Lucius or Bartemius?" Judge Wayne addressed
Tom and Hadrian pressed the red button —that had changed its label to "Lucius"— for the second time.
"Then it is decided," Judge Wayne chuckled "Lucius Malfoy is our new Minister of Magic."
The crowd cheered as Hadrian smirked wickedly: Dumbledore didn't stand a chance.
They was no fighting going on, but the Light was still losing horribly.
And besides, Lucius would begin lead this country out of the rubble until the war was won.
Now, they just needed to wait two and half more years...

A Collection of Tales
This is or rather will become a collection of short stories set in the worlds of The Misplaced Dungeon and Unexpected Consequences as I am finding it difficult to avoid including some amusing ideas that would sidetrack those stories. And now also include stories from the world of And Dungeon Makes Three. Unless otherwise stated these stories happen in the background and are here because they seem to want to get out. Updating will be irregular.
