Harry James Potter was born on July 31, 1980.
Only his parents, their closest friends, Dumbledore, and the midwife was present at his birth.
After the baby had been cleaned, he was given to his mother to be held.
His mother, Lily Potter, looked at her newborn: he already had tuffs of black hair, and he was absolutely gorgeous.
She smiled as she counted each little finger and toe, but her joy ended once she read the name on his wrist.
She gasped loudly and everyone moved closer to see what was wrong.
And they too saw the problem.
"My dear girl, if he ever found out who his soulmate is he would leave us without a second thought. We would lose the war if he ever knew." Dumbledore told Lily
"I wish this weren't true, this isn't fair, but you're right." James said
"For the greater good." Lily agreed
Sirius Black and Remus Lupin couldn't believe what they were hearing, they cared more about some damn war than their own son's happiness.
After a few minutes of cooing over the baby, the guests left the three Potters' home.
"Peter, we need to talk to you." Sirius said, pulling Wormtail into a alleyway with Remus
"What do you need?" Peter mumbled
"We know you're a Death Eater." Remus said, and Peter's eyes grew in shock "But we won't tell anyone if you do us a favor."
"What do you want?" Peter asked, scared
"Take us to the Dark Lord, and don't tell anyone about it." Sirius answered
"Okay." Peter mumbled, apparating his 'friends' to Riddle Manor.

Tom Marvolo Riddle, also known as Lord Voldemort, looked at his wrist and ran a hand through his fluffy brown hair.
Every fiber of his being wanted to search for his soulmate, to find his Queen, but with the war going on it would be impossible.

Suddenly, he felt someone apparate through the wards and looked out the window, where he saw three figures enter his home.
"Wormtail," Voldemort asked, once he recognized his follower "why are you here?"
"They demanded to talk to you, my Lord." Peter said
"Who are you?" Voldemort asked the cloaked figures
They removed their hoods and they were quickly recognized as Sirius and Remus.
"I'm Sirius Black, and we've come to make a deal with you." Sirius said
"What?" Voldemort asked
"I know the whereabouts of your soulmate. He was born about an hour ago and his parents and Dumbledore are going to do their best to keep him from you. But, they trust Sirius and I, so we can give you reports on him until you are able to rescue him. But we'll only do this if we're able to keep contact with him after you have done so." Remus said
"Deal." Voldemort immediately said
"Then, we'll be back soon." Sirius said, and he and Remus apparated away...
