"Ladybug released the akuma and took Chat Noir's hand as they went home." A man with grey hair finished as he closed the leather bound book and smiled at the woman in front of him.

She was smiling softly in her wheelchair, her Chinese ancestry pronounced in the way she closed me eyes. Her hair still had black streaks in it and her smile was still large. Her Alzheimer's had affected many things but not her smile and her husband thanked the lord everyday she smiled like that.

"Mrs. Marinette Agreste, Mr. Adrien Agreste, your daughter and her children are coming to see you." A nurse said, poking her head outside to the porch where the pair sat.

"I don't remember having any children." Marinette's voice cracks, did she have children? And grandchildren? How could she forget such a miraculous thing? A single tear ran down her face.

Adrien smiled softly and placed his had over hers. He loved her and he knew what she was thinking. This happens every time Emma or Louis comes with their wives and kids or Hugo comes with his boyfriend. If he could switch places with her, Adrien would do it in a second, but at least this way he got to read her their old memories.

When Emma, her wife Charlotte and their son came outside to see Emma's parents, they simply smiled and reintroduced themselves to Mari. They talked for hours before having to leave. Mari's grandson even said goodbye in his broken, 2 year old French.

Before they left, Adrien stopped Emma.

"If I go before your mother, read her my journals everyday, no matter how ridiculous they sound, it's all true."

"Don't talk like that Dad. I don't want to think about you... I don't want to think about it." Emma knew that her father's story was ridiculous, because she was also the holder of the same Miraculous that her father once did. Plagg told her stories of him, not realizing who her parents were. Charlotte also held the Ladybug Miraculous and was told stories by Tikki.

That was why they came today, so that Tikki and Plagg could see their previous holders.

Tikki didn't want to see Marinette like this, she couldn't. Plagg looked at her with a smile. He flew over to Marinette, who's eyes were closed, and kissed her forehead. Her memories flooded her brain once more. It would only be temporary so Tikki could say goodbye, but it was the best that could be done. Not even the powers of the most powerful Kwamis could fix this.

"Goodbye Marinette. Plagg restores your memories for a while, but they won't stay long." Tikki smiles, "Remember me till then." Tikki hugged Marinette's cheek and hid once more.

"Goodbye Momma. We'll come see you later." Emma said as she left.

Marinette smiled as she replayed some of her favorite memories, but soon there were gaps, until all of her memories were gone again.
