Marinette? Marinette! Marinette where are you?"

Without a second thought when she heard it, Mari ran to him still transformed after the building collapsed. She was just glad he was alive. She ran to him and kissed him on the cheek and wrapping her arms around him. He was surprised to say the least.

"Luka! I'm so glad you're ok!"

"M-Marinette?" Luka said but hugged her back.

"Ladybug!" Chat yelled as he came running over. "M'lady we need t-" he stopped dead in his tracks, a sad look on his face. "Never mind, I can do it myself."

Chat turned and bounded off to help pull people from the rubble that was the high school.

Soon, Ladybug was beside him as they silently searched for the last few people, Alya, Nino, Alix, Rose, Juleka and Nathaniel among the missing. Supposedly Chat had found Mari and Adrien earlier and they had left but there was no confirmation of it.

At the end of the search, the results weren't pleasant. Over 100 of students were killed, 250 injured and 4 missing, Nino, Juleka and Alya being 3 of them. Alix had been found with a few broken ribs and bad bruising. Rose... Rose was gone. Nathaniel was in critical condition at the hospital.

Marinette and Adrien had shown up with food and drinks for everyone in hopes of lightening the mood.

When Mari headed home Adrien followed her.

"What the heck Mari?"

"What?"

"You revealed your identity to Luka and you were so distracted with him that you missed half the search!" Adrien was sad and hurt, more so than ever.

"What is your problem? Our friends are hurt, dead and missing. This isn't the time for us to start arguing about my relationship with Luka again! I moved on and now you need to get over it!" Mari yell through tear and ran home.

Adrien had to take a moment to recollect himself so he wouldn't get akumatized. There would be enough of that soon enough considering the number of people killed and injured.

Adrien hung his head and walked back to the rubble as the police and firemen began to leave. He looked at it and tears began to fall. In one last hope, he called Nino's phone.

He stood in silence for a moment, too scared to move, until he heard a soft ringing. His eyes lit up and he ran into the rubble, searching for the source of the noice. He stopped in front of the stairs where the ringing seemed to be.

He yelled and firemen came. They helped to dig the staircase out and as if by miracle, there was almost no damage to them and under neath lay Nino crying over a bloody girl, Alya.

The EMT was called and he came running with medical supplies. Alya was barely breathing and Nino has only a broken leg.

A few hours later, Juleka was found in the girls restroom, she was in a coma. Nathaniel made it out of surgery alive but Ivan wasn't as lucky and Maylene wasn't taking it well either.

There were 3 akuma victims that night, 4 more the next and then the was a manorial for all the people who died.

The school was rebuilt and there was a garden in the middle, a tree for each student that died.

Paris would never be the same.
