Ladybug and Chat Noir had officially come out as dating and now it was Marinette and Adrien's turn.

It seemed that the public had recently become extremely interested in Adrien even though Marinette had been especially worried about him lately.

Ever since he was akumatized, he acted strange, almost like he was never completely free of it's dark influence.

When Marinette watched the video the news station had posted of them, she was surprised to see that every now and then, the screen would glitch Adrien a bit. It was never anyone else, just him.

She decided to see if the station had commented on this and they had. It read "yes, this is original footage, no effects or anything. It is true, our beloved model, Adrien Agreste glitches videos." , but it wasn't possible.

What if- Marinette's train of thought was cut off by a hand cutting off her air and a familiar voice in her ear.

"Surprise." It was Adrien and his voice was identical to that of when he was akumatized.

Marinette began to struggle to breath and closed her eyes. She then felt all weight lift from her body as if she were on her back. She also felt a hand gripping hers and a needle in her arm.

"Thank god you're awake!" It was Adrien and his voice was horse and scratchy as if he'd been crying and when she looked at him, it was obvious that he had been. His face was red and blotchy, his eyes swollen and red all to match the bags under his eyes and disarrayed hair.

"Surprise..."
