"Green?"

"I thought it'd look nice on you..." Marinette rubbed her arm both out of nervousness and cold, as her dress had no sleeves.

Marinette and Adrien were getting ready for the dance at her house and were presently in her room looking themselves over in case they missed something.

Adrien was wearing a green dress shirt with black pants and shoes, his jacket slung over his shoulder, leaving his suspenders exposed. Marinette on the other hand, was wearing a knee-length red dress that fluffed out at the waist. She had a black lace with small, intricate designs around her waist and 1 inch black heels that made her the same height as Adrien. She had her hair in a neat bun with a red ribbon that held it in place.

"No! I didn't mean it like that, I-I love green! It's one of my favorite colors!"

The dance was in the school gymnasium and was decorated by none other that Alya, so it promised to be beautiful.

"Hey you two!" Alya called from the drinks table and Mari dragged Adrien over to her.

"Where's Nino?"

"He's the DJ and is having the time of his life." She said with a giggle. "And Adrien, Jake Secousse is here."

Adrienette facial expression darkened at the name and Marinette became a bit confused. When Marinette's favorite song started to play she dragged Adrien onto the dance floor. They danced for most of the song until Adrien heard someone yelling some crud insults.

"Marinette? More like Marijuana! Hey perfume boy! Why don't you and the geesha run off and get a room! Oh wait, geesha is Japanese, she not even important enough to have a real name in her own country! Barbie bitch, take your nock-off somewhere else, nobody wants to looks at her!"

Adrien had finally had enough. He pulled away from Marinette and started to walk towards the 3rd year. He was almost angry enough to kill he guy and he swore that if he said one more thing about Marinette he wouldn't care if he got suspended.

Adrien stepped up to the boy who was probably a foot taller and punched his square in the face... repeatedly... until the guy hit the ground and Mari pulled him away.

Adrien was so pissed he barely payed attention, but when he saw the lights glint off one of her tears, he instantly stopped. He put his hand on her cheek and she leaned into it, practically begging him to stop, which worked. When one of the teachers finally made their way to the boys, they tried to pull Adrien out, but nobody would let them. They kept saying that the other boy started it and the Jake had been spewing insults at the two.

The teacher finally gave up and let Adrien stay, but Adrien still faced trouble when his father heard, but at least he got to dance to night away with his Cinderella.
