"Dad, why?" Adrien asked his father with sad eyes.

Adrien was sitting at the table in a special room he had arranged for while his father sat opposite of him, handcuffed to the table.

The room was empty except for a table and two chairs. It was sound proof but each wall had a window for the officers to watch.

Gabriel had been caught. Ladybug and Chat Noir had caught him and he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

"Why did you do it?" Adrien asked as tears threatened to spill from his eyes.

He was use to his father disappointing him, but never would he have thought that he was Hawk Moth. Not once did he think his father would sink that low.

With a sigh Gabriel looked at his son. "You looked at he paper right?" Adrien nodded. "Well it's a long story that I guess I can tell now."

"What do you mean?" Adrien asks.

"My full name is Gabriel Felix Agrestè and when I was in high school, an old man was put in the rain without an umbrella, so I gave him mine. I think that's why he chose me. I was Chat Noir many years ago." Adrien's eyes when wide and his mouth fell open, he quickly closed it to listen again.

"I worked with Ladybug for year and fell in love with her. Her name was Bridgette, but I was never able to tell her how I felt, because she was killed. It was your mother who helped me through the pain. She was Peacock miraculous holder. Your mother and I, we were each other's second choice. We married not out of love, but out of loneliness. I began to love her as the years went by and she began to love me too. She always wanted a child, so we had you." Gabriel smiled at the memory as he looked at his son.

"You were the strongest glue ever. Even if we fought, you reminded us of everything we loved about each other. She loved you, oh god did she love you Adrien. She only left because someone threatened to hurt you if she didn't. After she left, you reminded me of her. Of her beautiful eyes, of her soft hair, of everything I missed about her."

"She left her miraculous with me when she left and I wasn't able to touch it sense. I became bitter after she left and stole the moth miraculous from it's holder, because of that Plagg took my ring away from me. He took it back to the old man I assume. I couldn't the man after that and now, here I am."

Adrien stared blankly at his father. He was mad and sad and excited and confused at the same time. He didn't know what to do she he followed his instincts and got up to leave. Before he could open the door his father said something that finally made the tears begin to fall down Adrien's face.

All he said was, "Don't be as stupid as I was. Don't let the girl you love go..."
