Marinette's point of view

We found it. We found Hawk Moth's lare, but at what cost? It was a cost to great, much too great...

"Fix it!" I sob, his cold lifeless body lays in front of me.

"I-I can't" Hawk Moth stutters, slowly walking towards us, me. It's just me. He's not here anymore. "You're the one who fixes everything once the fights over, so... fight me. Defeated me and bring him back."

I drop to my knees, a sick feeling curdling in the pit of my stomach. "Please-see, I'm begging. I'll give you my Miraculous too- fix it." I swallow hard. "Please." My voice cracks.

"I can't," Hawk Moth says. I look up and see him run one hand over the hood of his suit, jerking the other in a motion signaling me to get up. "I'm not saying it to spite you, that's my son. I literally can't fix it, I would if I could. This is beyond our power, I'm sorry."

I stare at him in numb disbelief. Hawk Moth is Chat Noir's father. Suddenly Chat's ring beeps for the last time and Chat's suit disappears, leaving a badly bruised and beaten Adrien Agrestè. The cuts on his body coated in blood. My breath shakes as I crawl over to him. I cradle his head in my arms and cry. Time seems to stand still for a moment and I look up to see Hawk Moth bending down and reaching for him.

"No! Don't you touch him!" I scream. I swat his hand away and jump up. "It's your fault!" I punch Hawk Moth and he stumbles backwards. "You killed your own son!" I run to jump and kick him and he slams into the wall. "How could you do that?" I punch him again and his head slams against the wall. "He cried all the time because of you!" I hit him again, this time a bit lighter as my vision was blurred with tears. "I acted like I couldn't see it, but I did and he never knew!" I back away and Hawk Moth stumbles forward.

"I deserve nothing less than this for what I di-" His face turns to one of shock as he looks at me.

"Shut up! He deserved better than you!" I run towards him and punch him again. The blood soaked man stumbles backwards towards the broken window and I'm about to hit him again when I hear a faint voice.

"Mari..." The voice is Adrien's and is followed by a faint chocking noise. "Don't..." He wheezes.

"A-Adrien?" I stop, all anger suddenly replaced with a mixture of fear and hope, when I hear Hawk Moth laughing maniacally behind me.

"You fool! Adrien's locked away in his room! I don't know about that stupid Chat Noir, but even he can't save you now!" I feel a sharp pain in the back of my head and then everything goes black.

I wake up and I can't feel Tikki anymore. My suit is gone too, my earrings, their gone. I look around and see Volpina standing in a corner.

"Volpina, so you made the allusion." I say glaring at the girl. She seems different though.

"Sorry girl, he made me." I know that voice..,

"Alya?! You're a miraculous holder?!"

"Ya, he said that if I didn't help him, he'd hurt Nino. I couldn't risk it."

"When I found out you were Ladybug, I knew exactly the allusion she had to use." Hawk Moth says.

"Should have let you die." I glare a Hawk Moth, wiggling in the ropes that held me. Then I see a black figure fall from the roof and behind Hawk Moth.

"But that doesn't sound like you m'lady." I hear a familiar voice say. I look back at Hawk Moth and see that when Chat fell, he wrapped a rope around Hawk Moth.

"Chat Noir!"

"Who'd you expect, the tooth fairy?"

"Well maybe Queen Bee or Jade Turtle, but you came, with no back up."

"Relax, the others are on their way. That's what took so long. I couldn't get ahold of Volpina though."

"Don't worry, she's already here." Alya says as she drops from the rafters. "I won't fight you. I'm only doing this to keep the one I love safe."

"Hey Vol, did you miss me?" Jade Turtle says as he grabs her from behind. "I'll get Vol out of here, you guys catch Hawky. Queen Bee was right behind me, she'll get the civilian to safety."

"So she should bee here soon." Jade Turtle laughs a bit and then takes Volpina and leaves.

"Chat, he has my Miraculous."

"Alright purrincess I'll get those earrings back for you." Chat cuts the ropes and When Queen Bee flies in, he tells her to take me to safety.

Soon Chat jumps down in front of me and gives me my earrings.

"Tikki, spots on!" I transform and follow Chat to the battle.

"We caught him but we have no way to restrain him." Chat say looking at me with a smile.

"Lucky charm!" I yell as I throw my yoyo in the air and am given a pair of handcuffs.

"Finally a lucky charm that makes since." Queen Bee scoffs. Everyone nods in agreement. She reminds me of someone...

I handcuff Gabriel Agrestè and walk him outside to the police. I take me handcuffs and the police place him in theirs. I throw my handcuffs in the air and yell, "Miraculous Ladybug!" A wave of light goes over Paris and everything is back to normal.

"Pound it!" Chat and I say together. Then Jade Turtle and Volpina return. We all circle up and put our hands in. "1! 2! 3! Team Miraculous!" We all yell together.

We all go our separate directions and "Everything is back to normal in Paris-dice." Chat says from my balcony.

"Ok Chat, what do you want?"

"I wanted to check on my purrinces and little Tikki. Well Plagg wanted to see Tikki, I wanted you to see me. Plagg, claws in." Chat says shyly.

"Adrien?!? N-n-no way! I-it c-can't be you!"

"Are you disappointed?" Adrien ask slightly offended and very sad.

"Y-y-you're Chat Noir. Y-you're t-the one I've b-been turning down? B-but I h-have a huge crush on you!" I realize what I said and slap my hand over my mouth and my face turns red, not only because I hit myself real hard, but because I'm embarrassed.
