I hate to go home but we are done in Paris. We raised the extra 5,000 dollars that we needed . I wish I could just take another job trip. My husband is a fuck wreck. He need to get it together or I'm gone. I'm to good of a woman to be putting up with this shit. It's plenty of men that will treat me right and be there for me. I'm to good to him. This is not the life I always dream. I dream of a man treating me right and being there for me not this shit. You never get what you dream of You always get the worst and I got the bottom of the barrel. I really did.

He is forced to flee as secret covens emerge to destroy him before he can find a cure for Nagar's Blight, a curse that left the Middle Kingdom bereft of dragons centuries earlier and would enslave any dragon foolish enough to come within its grasp. With the help of a master swordsman and a sorceress said to have gotten her powers in a secret pact with demons, Erik will have to stay one step ahead of warlocks and assassins if he is to find the key to fulfilling his destiny. The trouble is, Erik isn’t sure he is the Champion spoken of in the prophecy, and if he chooses to follow the path laid out for him, it will mean risking his family as nobles feud over control of the realm amidst the chaos.

In the frigid Northern continent of Vraeta, a Slaver caravan in the middle of what was supposed to be a standard trip to the Market, gets caught up in a difficult situation. The Slavers and the Mercenaries hired to guide them fight for survival against the Magical Beasts, using the magic and weapons they have at their disposal. As well as the Magical Beasts. the presence of a nameless slave, who speaks a language nobody can understand and exudes a certain aura invincibility that has just about everybody on edge. This is a tale following the exploits of the nameless slave, and those around him. Author's Note Thing: Don't know if this is where to put this, but this story is something I'm writing and posting on RRL for the first time. Chapters are what I consider to be short, and I hope to finish the book quickly. PS: Is it better to have no cover, or a generic cover? Let me know if you read this.

This project has no purpose
Summary: This is the story about the life of a "human" amidst a world that only appears to be earth at first glance. Long ago the face of this world resembled the typical tales of yore; of knights and fairies, swords and magic, however such an era has come and gone. Even the world of fantasy has progressed steadily into the modern epoch filled with the wonders of science and technology! In the ancient times a certain crisis had occured that lead to the quick decline of various magical species. Due to their low population and general incompatibility with the other races they could not crossbreed to save their numbers. Left with no other choice the major races of the world gathered together in an attempt to change the fate of this dying world. Their only hope was a special 'world-tier' magic known as 'the dusk of harmony'. The result of this magic would dissolve every race into their purest essences known as 'aspect' and instill them within the human population. The humans were the best choice as their numbers were numerous and form was similar to most races. As such, the various races of this world managed to save themselves in essence and soul only, though perhaps there was no other choice. With the various humans now carrying the weight and aspects of those who came before, life has continued onto the modern age. Yet, even amongst these hybrids 'Pures' emerge from time to time, beings who have inherited not only aspects of the ancient races, but their forms too. These Pures are often times exceptionally talented and seen as near deities. This is the story of a perculiar boy who is born with the soul of a stranger from the world known as 'Earth'. With the memories and soul of a human, he too is a rare Pure; a pure human. --- This project literally has no purpose and is being written because I felt like it. There isn't any semblance of a solid direction nor have I thought about any characters aside from the main character and a few auxiliary cast.
