Savannah POV
I barely got any sleep last night. I was weighing my options about escaping, but another thought hit me. I promised Kelly that everything would be ok, if I were to escape she'd come with me, which means there would be two of us broke on the streets, cold and alone. I just have to figure out a way to make sure she's happy, that she doesn't get hurt. But first I have to gain Dante's trust.
I was actually doing a lot of tossing and turning last night so when I woke up I was laying on Dante's bare chest. I tried to get up but his hold was iron, and one of his legs was on top of both of mine. So I've been laying awake on his hard chest for about half an hour, listening to his heart beat and his steady breathing.
He had a tattoo on his right peck. It was a lion head roaring, it had very sharp teeth and piercing blue eyes. It was wearing a crown that was a little crooked, on the crown it was written in cursive letters "re dei Re"
What does that mean?
I unintentionally started tracing the letters with my finger.
"Buongiorno Gattino" Dante said causing me to jump. His morning voice was hoarse and husky and it made butterflies erupt in my stomach.
( Goodmorning Kitten )
"H-How long have you been awake?" I asked in a whisper.
"Just a few minutes." He responded.
"Oh." I said quietly.
"Get up, we need to talk and we might get you some clothes." He said loosening his grips on my body.
"Ok." I said quietly once again.
I sat up and got out of the bed, as did Dante. He went into the closet while I fixed the bed. He came out a couple minutes later dressed in a suit and had some clothes in his hand.
"You didn't need to fix the bed, the maids do that." He said.
"It was not a problem I didn't mind." I said with a small shrug.
"I mind. It's not your job ok?" He said and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.
"Ok."
"Here put these on then we will have breakfast and we can talk." He said handing me some clothes.

I went into the bathroom and looked at the clothes. I blushed seeing he handed me a pair of lace underwear and a matching bra. Skinny jeans was in the mix and a large T-shirt that I'm guessing belongs to Dante. I put everything on and walked out, Dante was on the phone and putting on a watch.
"VOGLIO QUEL FUCKER IN UNA CELLA PRIMA DI MEZZANOTTE!" He yelled before hanging up and tossing his phone on the bed. He finished putting on his watch then looked up at me.
"I-I need socks and shoes..." I said quickly.
"Done, anything else?" He asked walking over to me.
"A belt too." I said blushing and looking down.
I watched as his black polished business shoes came up to me. His fingers came up and grabbed my chin, bringing my head up and making me look him in the eyes.
"Come, lets have breakfast." He said.
I nodded my head and his hand left me and he grabbed his phone off the bed before walking to the door. As we went to the kitchen Dante was on his phone and I was watching where I was going carefully considering I was barefoot.
"Gattino." Dante called and I looked up at him. He's called me that a couple times so I'm guessing it's his nickname for me. I want one for him.
He was holding socks and shoes in his hands and a belt.
"Oh, thank you." I said shyly taking the items from him. He nodded and walked over to one of the maids that was in the kitchen. I quickly put on the socks and shoes and tucked the large T-shirt into the pants I was wearing then put the belt on.
Dante sat at the island with a plate of fruit, pancakes and sausage in front of him. Another plate was next to him.
"Savannah come eat." Dante said moving the chair that was next to him closer to himself. I walked over to the island and hopped up on the chair. I picked up the fork that was next to the plate and began to eat the fruit with the pancakes. Then ate the sausage. One of the maids placed glasses of orange juice in front of Dante and I and took our plates away.

"Dante?"
"Yes?"
"Um...can I get a straw please?" I asked as I played with my thumbs.
"Yeah." He waved over a maid who came back seconds later with a bendy straw.
"Thank you." I said to her and she looked at me shocked a little bit quickly brushed it off and scrambled away.
"You don't thank them." Dante said.
"Who the maids? Why not?" I asked.
"Because they are just doing their jobs. They are doing what I pay them to do, they do not need to be thanked, so do not thank them." He said.
"Ok." I said quietly.
I quickly drank my orange juice through the straw and when I was done someone came and took both our glasses and Dante grabbed my hand and helped me off the chair.
"We will talk in my office." He said as we walked up some stairs.
Dante's room was on the fourth floor, and his office was on the third floor. It was a nice size. His desk was huge and he had a large chair behind it. He had two desktop computers on his desk and two chairs sitting in front of it. There was a sitting area with a coffee table, two chairs, and a love seat. He had three book shelves though only two of them were filled with books, the last one has alcohol on it and some glasses. There were two large windows looking out to the backyard, they had seats on them, with cushions on them, so a person can lay down in the window.
"Sit." He said walking around to his seat as I took a seat in one of the chairs in front of him.
"Do you know what I want to talk to you about?" He asked.
"Yes." The marriage.
"What?"
I feel like I'm in the principals office.
"The marriage thing." I answered simply.
"Right. First you must know that the kind of business I run isn't a normal business." He said.
Well duh!
"You are in the mafia." Stated simply. I've heard about the mafia but I never thought it was actually real. Not until now of course.
"No babygirl, I am the mafia." He said leaving me a little confused.
This is a dangerous business. And I'm scared. Very scared.
"The boss." I stated quietly to myself though he did hear.
"I'm going to make you my wife. Do not ask why, it is not your job to question me. We will be married in three days time. Your job as my wife is simple. You will accompany me to some meetings, and events. Don't ask me about getting a job because you're not getting one. I have more than enough money to provide for us in a thousand different lifetimes if not, more. As my wife you are expected to stay faithful to me of course. I will let you know now, I do not share. Not when I was younger, not now, not ever. If I find out you have had any type of relationship with anyone, male or female, I will not hesitate to kill them and punish you. Understood?"
I nodded my head quickly.
"Use your words Savannah." He said sounding annoyed.
"Y-Yes."
"Good. One last thing. If you dare try to escape, I will make the rest of your life a living hell. You will be staying here, until death do us part." He said in a very cold voice.
"I-I understand. I already weighed my options. I'll stay here, I wouldn't have any where else to go if I l-left."
"Smart girl." He said with a nod.
"Will you um...will you force me to uh...have um sex with you?" I asked and my cheeks burned crimson red.
"I'm not a rapist. And I will not hurt you, at least not intentionally." He said.
"But I do have needs." He said bluntly.
I hate that excuse.
"Ummm ok." I said not knowing what to say.
"Good, now that we have that covered we need to get you some clothes. We will go to a shopping center after lunch. I will have to call Sofia to help you." He said pinching the bridge of his nose at the last part.
Who's Sofia?
