Life is uncertain. It surprises you at every phase. A very few people can accept or understand what they say or feel. Everyone has their own experiences, taste and perception of life.

Life gives you new challenges at every turn but it also gives you the courage to endure and face those challenges. But sometimes the whole life becomes a challenge and the person breaks down and those challenges end with the life of the person itself.

But then when you are about to lose hope and find yourself alone and defeated, then God sends someone special to hold you and your life takes a 365 degrees turn .

The past ten months were like punishment for both Alka and Nannu.

They both suffered, torchered but they didn't give up. They fought their demons but the things they went through changed both Alka and Nannu forever.

It's been three months since Robin and Alka's marriage. Both were happy and relaxed. They were trying to get to know each other. It was very hard for Alka as she was trying to trust him and Robin also working on his business and on his relationship with Alka and Nannu.

Robin gave her everything he promised her, Respect, love and security. He never crossed his lines that made ALka’s Heart flutter. SHe proud of him but sometimes their language became a barrier as well as accent. Alka was not fancy about anything but Robin was determined to pamper his both girls. ALka sometimes found him looking at her with unknown emotions in his eyes. First few months she felt awkward and strange but slowly she became habitual of his stare and liking these little gestures.

Their relationship grew to balcony dates, midnight candle light dinner and lots of gossip. Robin googled all Indian festivals and tried to celebrate all with both. Nannu was coming out of her shell as they both consulted various doctors to make her comfortable. Alka’s Birthday was near and he wanted to surprise Alka with his little party. He added Nannu in his plan too and she happily agreed.

Nannu's Health was steadily improving. Robin was very supportive, he started his ancestral business of commercial vehicles. Alka was happy with Nannu's progress and Robin's work. He was right, he was devoted to his family. He was very attached to Nannu and always searched for her whenever he returned home.

HOME….this word was alien to Alka and Nannu but after Robin's arrival they got to know the real meaning of it. Nannu started to initiate conversation but her nightmares were the same. Robin helped her a lot. Alka also started to help Robin and try to give him everything but somewhere she was very hesitant to initiate any relationship with Robin. But Robin assured her that he was very happy and content with his new family and her corporations.

Robin enrolled Nannu to school for her further studies. The new environment boosted her self-confidence. Alka adored her marital bliss but Robin wanted to move a step ahead in their relationship. But he did not want to force Alka.

Nannu has grown more comfortable with Robin than Alka and Alka was happy with this fact. Nannu shared that she loved to dance once and Robin made her attend the classes so that she could open up to people.

As expected, Nannu started opening up to people, who responded to them. She became the center of attraction in the neighborhood due to her naive Indian features and beauty.

One midnight both Robin and Nannu surprised Alka with a birthday party with their little family. Alka cut the cake and thanked Robin “Anything for my wifey!” She shyly smiled. Robin did a video call to his club friends and they all wished ALka. She was very happy and her happiness increased looking at Nannu. For an eleven girl it was a remarkable journey who suffered a lot.

At the same night when Robin was sitting in the balcony working on his laptop he found Alka standing there with a frown on her face. He forward his hand to ask her to come to him. She placed her hand in his hand. Robin shut the laptop down and made a place near him to sit her but Alka sat on his lap. She snaked her arms around his neck. Robin was stunned to even move with her gesture. She smiled and kissed him on forehead, then left cheek, then right cheek and at last she placed her warm lips on his cold ones. Time stopped and so did Robin’s world. He didn’t respond first so she started to retreat back but Robin tightened his hold around her tiny waist. They were kissing softly with love, passion and dedication. Robin was on cloud nine. It was worth his love. Her first kiss which she gave him with her own will.

Alka and Robin stopped when they were out of breath. They were taking oxygen while joining their forehead. Alka asid “Thank You LOVE” Robin felt content listening to her words.

After that they both sat in the balcony sharing the sweet and sour moments of their life and slept with the happiness and new dreams for their life.

Alka always supported and encouraged her to do whatever she wanted. Robin's business also flourished. His personal and professional growth was improved. He considered Alka and Nannu his lucky charm.

Five more months passed like this. Nannu was now relieved somehow but nightmares were still haunting her. Mostly she didn't tell Robin and Alka. She didn't want them to be restless because of her. She was happy that now she has a family.But after a good phase always be there a bad phase

One day Nannu came back to her dance class early. She heard some sound of gasping and moaning. She peeked inside and found Robin and Alka making out in the kitchen. Robin hovered over the kitchen counter.

Robin complained" You took so much time Alka. You haven't any idea how much I crave for you? I want to take a step ahead. Alka, I need you," his shaky breath fanning to Alka's neck and ear.

Alka giggled and her giggling sound music to his ear. He wanted nothing but her happiness so that he could lay down his life. Only This girl has the power to do that, "You made me fall for you, Rob! I hated my shattered life but you gathered it with your love and patience. You earned me, you gave me this respectful life. I owe you. please never leave me ...ever" Alka confessed her love for him with tearful eyes.

Robin kissed her forehead lovingly, " I came early to surprise Nannu. Look here you surprised me with your confession. Trust me you both made me feel loved and wanted. See here I bought an Indian dress for her as a new boutique opened for Indian clothing, she will be happy, won't she?" Alka smiled at his care and love for Nannu which increased day by day.

"Umm..can you wear this for tonight Ummm...if you like" asked Robin hesitantly

Alka looked at the packet and answered shyly"sure! But what is it?" Robin smiled and Alka was content to see him smile with her little "yes." She braced herself for tonight.

Whatever might come, I will support him for his happiness . He is right, I should let bad memories go and welcome a new life with open arms.

Nannu listened to everything and felt guilty. Nannu was ashamed and looked at the couple lovingly with sad eyes. She came out of the house and went to a nearby park.

Nannu came back home on time and found both drinking coffee. YES! Coffee was their favorite beverage. Happy or sad, frustrated or irritated, they need coffee.

Robin noticed Nannu and ran to her, " My princess ! Today I have a surprise for you. Ask me what it is ?" Robin said scooping Nannu in his arms and twirling her around, Nannu giggled and placed her head on his shoulder.

"What?" Nannu asked and Robin forwarded a packet to her" A gift, open it and see for yourself" Robin said cheerfully .

"Wow! It is beautiful, dad! " she said and kissed Robin on his cheeks when she saw the beautiful Indian dress.

"I know you will love this.Go and change into itI will take pictures of you and Alka," Robin said with a smile.

Nannu went to change her dress. It was a traditional Indian long skirt with a matching blouse and a long silk scarf that goes with it.

When she came to the living room all dressed up, Robin had happy tears into her eyes. "My Angel, you look like a fairy," Robin pecked her forehead.

Alka smiled seeing her small happy family, she wiped her tears and hugged them both, "shall we start our picture session?" Robin nodded and they clicked many, many pictures of each other.

After dinner Nannu went to her room. Robin came to her room with a glass of milk and saw her in thoughts. He asked," What happened to my amazing daughter?"

"Nothing Dad, I was thinking of giving an exam for a scholarship. It is very reputed," Nannu answered softly.

"And what is the need of all this baby? Your father is here to pay for your education, whatever you want, just order me, my princess," Nannu giggled at his dramatic dialogue.

"I want to do this to encourage myself, dad" she reasoned, looking into his eyes.

"If this gives you happiness and encouragement then I will be more happy than you. Go ahead child. But don't forget I am always with you. Whatever the situation comes, just fight and never bow down" Robin gave her permission, nothing was more important than her happiness for him.

Meanwhile, Alka was looking at her reflection in the mirror and cheering herself to go in front of Robin in his gifted dress.

It was a silk red saree with black sleeveless blouse matching perfectly with Alka's pale skin . She was looking at herself and admiring as well as shying at the same time. Then she heard a slight sound of the door opening. She set the drape of pleats. This was the second time she was wearing a sari for Robin. First at marriage and second, now.

Robin knocks on the door of the closet" Alka? Are you in there? "

Suddenly she was freaking out and her hands were sweaty beads of perspiration dwelling on her forehead.

She breathed " Yes, I am inside. "

"Alka, it's okay, I know you need time. No worries, just wear it when you are comfortable. don't stress yourself, I can wait till you are ready."

Alka relaxed but she wanted to show him that she also loved him. She cared for him and valued him. She encouraged herself " Best of luck."

Robin took two steps back as he heard the creak sound of the opening of the closet door. He froze at the sight in front of him. No words came out from his mouth.

Robin smiled, "You are looking gorgeous. I am crazy for you. You are the death of me, woman!" With that he hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead . Alka leaned to his kiss and looked happy.

"I am ready," she whispered. Robin was shocked and looked at her face to see her emotions, whether she was truly ready or not," there is no hurry love. "

"It's my wish Rob, I want to give myself to you. You made my life worth living."

"No, you made my life by giving this moron and disgusting man a chance. I was a brutal person but you polished me by your selflessness and viridity. I'm grateful to you and Nannu for giving me a chance to be your family," Robin said with volatile and tearful eyes.

Alka blinked her tears and rested her head on his chest, "I want you to make love to me, Don't hold back today Rob. I am all yours," she kissed his chest and started peppering kisses on his neck.

It was not perfect, her little imperfect stunts made his heart burst with love. He circled her naked waist with his strong arms. Alka hides her face into his chest out of shyness.

He started kissing her deeply but she couldn't reciprocate as she didn't know how to kiss. Robin guided her and slowly they performed their coitus bliss.

The night was full of passion and love. Both were content with each other and started a new phase of their marital bliss.

Alka woke up and found herself on Robin's chest. She smiled and got up.

She completed her morning chores and went to the kitchen to make coffee for her husband. She smiled remembering last night. How concerned he was for her consent, her comfort. He took care of her like she was made of glass. Is this completeness felt when we perform our love? They entered a new step in their marriage.

She took two cups of coffee and went to her room and found her husband. She shook him and said " Rob, get up please. "

Robin who was sleeping jerked and got up , he looked at Alka and a worried expression crossed his face. He started to check Alka, ''What happened love, do you feel any pain, I am so sorry. I was such an idiot. " he started blabbering , then Alka put her palm on his lips.

"There is nothing like this. I have no pain but completeness serging in me. Don't blame yourself. You are the best thing that happened in my life after Nannu. " she comforted him. Robin relaxed then asked why she woke him up?

"I wanted to see today's sunrise with you while having coffee. I am sorry for my silly wish to wake you up early. You must be tired."

"Your every wish is my command, love. Secondly I would love to see everything with you and also until you are in my arms I feel heaven," He held her hand, Alka smiled shyly and asked him to wear clothes as he was naked, he pouted and hurriedly went to the washroom and within two minutes he was back. They both went to the roof and enjoyed their sunrise and love moments as well .

Days were going on and Nannu was busy with her scholarship exam. Robin proudly told Alka that Nannu would be a scholar of their home . Nannu was very happy to see this selfless person who called her his daughter and provided everything in his capability .

On the result of the exam , Robin went to school to surprise Nannu and for her result. Nannu got top marks for the scholarship . She was happy with her result. Robin went to the principal cabin and introduced himself. "Please Mr. Marcello no need to introduce as we very well know you are the father of Ms. Nan….na..Nan….dini oh forget it Ms. Marcello" Robin chuckled at her fondling with words while taking Nannu's name.

What to do he himself was unable to pronounce her name but perfect with her nickname. First he was shocked as Alka also didn't know her proper name.

"Mr. Marcello, we are very happy to have such a bright child in our school. She won the scholarship at barcelona. She ea….. " furrowed his brow Robin asked" What did you say ??Barcelona???"

"Yes, she asked for this exam, I thought you approved it" confirmed the principal confusingly. Robin stood up abruptly and walked out of the room. He came outside and searched for Nannu.

Robin found Nannu on the bench in the playground. She was watching children playing football. Robin looked at her and calmed himself down.

"Congrats darling! Alka would be very happy," Robin chimed and sat nearby her. Nannu was shocked to see him in school and composed herself and smiled proudly, "I am your daughter. I always make you proud, Dad" Robin smiled and asked: "Then why did you apply for this scholarship?I am capable of giving you the best education which you require. Don't you trust your Dad?"

She sat close to Robin and rested her head on his left arm" Don't say this Dad, you gave more than enough but I wanted to do something on my own.

This scholarship is a chance for me to explore my life, to grow up into a disciplined environment. These four years I will see and away from you will make me a better person. I want to go there. But I know mom, she will freak out, she will never send me far. Please make her understand how important it is for me," Nannu pleaded.

"Where do you want to learn this baby? You are talking like an adult. Am I bad to you? Is there any other problem from my side, baby? We can sort it out."

Robin was not satisfied with Nannu's answer. Nannu gulped audibly, she fumbled with her fingers. Robin nodded and feared to think about Alka's reaction. She didn't want to be a third wheel in their relationship. She wanted to give them the space they need. Robin sighed, if she wanted to be self- independent then he would support her. He could understand the need of it, the things she went through, made her an adult before her age.

"Let's go home, your mom made a wonderful lunch in celebration of your achievement."

At home Nannu and Robin were looking at each other while Alka was preparing the table for lunch. She tried to read their faces.

" Rob !Nannu! I made kheer (rice pudding) for both of you," Alka said.

" But you promised to make cheesecake with choco-chip frosting." Robin whined. Alka chuckled and said" I canceled the cake and made kheer."

She put her hands on either side of her waist. Robin smiled goofily, "No problem at all dear, isn't Nannu!"
