The door suddenly opened and Aspan voiced “I am Home!”

There was a struggle going on in two pairs of eyes, none of them was ready to bow down.

But there was a disturbance in their gazing competition. Charcoal black daringly looked at her soul asking something and the brown ones were scared with the aura of Charcoal black.

Nandini tried to stand but the hands on her waist held her so tightly that she couldn’t free herself. The command of his charcoal eyes was challenging her. If you have the courage, then take your eyes off.

The door opened and disturbing the vying, Aspan entered, disturbing their gazing competition. Nandini pushed him a little and managed to stand up, Falcon stood up too.

"Why are you here?" Aspen demanded in a sharp tone. His brows raised in shock. Aspen's attention went to Nandini. He ran to her and shielded her behind him, stared at Falcon's eyes, “why are you here?”

Falcon looked at Aspan then the figure behind him whose eyes peeked at him through Aspan’s left shoulder. Aspan covered her behind him protectively and spoke while facing her:

“Rapunzel !What are you doing here this late? ” he asked calmly. “Are you Okay?” he asked while looking at her hand which had a knife and a pan.

Nandini looked at her hand and swallowed. “ Y..Y..Yeah! I am fine.” she said , then added “ It was just Umm….Y.. You have gone to an emergency case so I thought to make your favorite rice and chicken gravy as you would be late and tired as well. But after sometime I heard footsteps approaching so I assumed that a Serial killer or thief broke into your house.” she said pointing at Falcon.

Aspan nodded at Nandini, in understanding. She looked at the person whom she injured a while ago. She added further “Only you and I have the spare keys of this apartment then how this person entered . I thought of him as a serial killer and attacked with a cooking Pan and knife. He got injured during the process. He pulled me to himself to cease my attack and then you came” Nandini said, twisting her mouth in a thin line. "He could have knocked or something. What decent man entered someone's house like a thief."

She glanced at the person and then bowed down her eyelids due to his dangerous aura.

Aspan looked at the person and controlled himself to chuckled as Nandini described everything in a very childish manner. He rested his hand on her shoulder and said lovingly, “Rapunzel, listen. I am here now and I will eat my dinner properly. You can go and please change your clothes, I do not want you to catch a cold again. You are totally drenched. I will meet you tomorrow. Take medicine in a drawer near the main gate. Hmm” Aspan asserted caressingly

She nodded and once again her eyes went to the beautiful yet intimidating charcoal eyes. Nandini was shocked to find him looking at her very discreetly.

Those eyes were consuming her and it's affecting her. She downed her gaze and squirmed in unease. Aspan again covered that person and Nandini’s staring competition.

“Rapunzel! Go dear kids will be alone." She nodded and went to the door "Rapunzel, please keep those missiles at the tables.”

Nandini looked back and found Aspan pointing at the pan and knife on the table.

SHe chuckled and nodded in understanding. She put the knife and pan on the table and walked out but not before looking at the person who was gazing at her strangely.

Once Nandini left, Aspan turned to the person who came to his house uninvited.

"Why are you here? How did you get my address and what did you do to her?” he asked breathlessly.

“Hello to you too. Is this the way to greet your Elder Brother? Have you forgotten about your manners.” Aspen closed his eyes as a memory he wanted to forget flashed in his mind.

“Look who's talking! Let me burst your manners bubble. You are nothing more than an uninvited guest here. I am asking you politely and I consider it good enough for a person like you?” he said mockingly.

“Aspan!” Falcon inhaled sharply, reminding himself that the man standing in front of him was his Brother. He put his hands on both of Aspen's shoulders “You are my younger brother. I love you, you know that.”

Aspan cut his sentence in between “ Yes you are my brother for namesake. Because of Dad and you I lost precious things in my life. Now I have no connection with D’Alberto’s. I am capable of making my own name. For that I don’t want Dark shadows of my past “ he said looking at the person.

“You are part of our family, never forget that. I know the reason for your anger and it is justified for us. But still you can't deny that you are one of us.” Falcon said but he was on the verge of losing his cool. He didn't like when anyone defies him, even if the person is his brother.

“Oh! Since when Mr. Falcon D’Alberto started preaching.? If I am not wrong he is the Capo of the Mafia world. The Superior, most Cruel,lethal and hazardous Capo of the World.” he said gesturing with his hands in the air, as if he was reading a name plate.

“But you want to know what I think of you, in my eyes you are the most cheap and low person I know personally” Aspan gritted out .

Falcon only sighed not letting on him.Aspan's words affected him in anyway. He knew his brother cared about him and this was the only reason that he was listening to his gibberish things calmly and still alive.

“You have a nice apartment!” Falcon stated Aspen had not just insulted him.

Aspan looked at him like Falcon grew two horns. Falcon changed the matter as he knew he couldn't change the facts and also the perception of Aspan. “You are impossible.”

Falcon chuckled at Aspan’s irritation “you know me better brother, it has been four years that you are running and I was chasing you. Finding you was not a difficult task for me, but still you tried very hard and finally hid. I had to work hard to find you this time but look I got your address, again."

Aspan looked at him curiously “Why are you finding me ? I am not in that business anymore. There is no reason for me to come back and you are very well aware of it.”

“Aspan, forget the past and let's start fresh. Come back to your family. You know it is impossible to detach from the family. You are safe when you are with us. I want to see my brother with me” Falcon kept his hand on his hand and requested.

“Eldy !You know I was always stubborn and got what I wanted. About safety I am capable of protecting myself. Have You forgotten or should I remind you. So there is no fruitful way to make me come back.” Aspan noticed Falcon’s forehead which smeared blood and he couldn't stop himself from laughing out loud.

“ Well how about the news in your world when they come to know that a petite girl wounded Capo FALCON!”

Falcon also noticed the blood. “The nerve of that Girl! Idiot! She thought of me A serial killer? Can you believe she hit me with a pan and then a knife. If I didn’t cease her, you would have found my dead Body in your apartment!" He said mockingly.

Aspan roared laughing seeing the irritation on Falcon

"I didn't know Rapunzel had these qualities. She is so sweet and naive for her own good but she injured The Capo." He kept laughing, "she deserves a medal."

Maybe some of your rivals hire her to kill you or you can say as an assassin ."

Falcon thought deeply and asked "But what was she doing in your apartment? As I know you are not interested in such things after…” Aspan cut him off again "You are not allowed to talk about anything like this Eldy!”

Falcone raised his hand in surrender and asked” She dressed weird, like some burlesque. You should take care of your safety as our enemies are everywhere . your one information and they will jump you like a hawk to eat you raw.” Falcone Said in an anger filled voice.

“Rapunzel is the most naive soul on this earth and mind your tongue Eldy while talking about her. I won’t hesitate to kick you out. And if you are satisfied by looking at me then the door is right there.” He finished sternly matter and thAt was enough for Falcone

Falcone calculated his brother's behavior and found that Aspan was more thAN protective for that girl. He couldn’t understand why Aspan cared so much about her. FAlcon didn’t like his protective behavior towards that girl.

Falcon bewitched with her magical eyes. He didn’t believe that Aspan would behave like this for a mere girl.

He doubted that the girl could be some spy who wanted to harm his family in any way. SHe was more brave and he wanted to know about her.

Falcon went to Aspan and said” I won’t go anywhere brother. I am here to spend a week with you.”

“You are joking Mr. Capo. I am not in your business or your right hand to do a job, Why do you want to stay with me here Eldy?.” Aspan questioned.

“I am hungry, let's have food. It's pretty cold here brother. I am on holiday and want to spend time with you” FAlcon said while on the heater.

Aspen sighed. He knew that there was no way his brother was not going anywhere for a week. “OKay, I will heat the food . Rapunzel made tasty dinner” FAlcon raised his eyebrows questioningly.

Aspan smiled, " The Assassin who injured the mighty FAlcon-The Capo," he ran to the kitchen. FAlcon chuckled at Aspan's behavior but soon it was replaced by a frown remembering the girl who injured him.

I need to know about that girl. I found something fishy. Aspan was never this careful to any one except... I have a week to know about her and if she is what I am thinking then the first time Aslan will taste the female meat. Ah! What an enticing scene it would be!

Falcon smirked in his imagination. He needed to persuade Aspan as he knew his rival would not think twice to make him scapegoat.

Here Nandinii was thinking about her little incident with that person. She never saw him with Aspan or never discussed his family with her.

She changed into a kurti and plazo and went to bed to sleep but sleep was far from her eyes. She looked at the kids' cute sleeping figures and then started to make Edwin’s clothes as she wanted to surprise him.

SHe was restless so she called Aspan “Hello Shakaal? Is everything fine?Who was that guy in your apartment ? how does he get the keys to your apartment?” SHe questioned .

“Hello!” She heard the grave husky voice which sent quivers in her body. Her eyes widened in horror, “H..H..Hello. Can I talk to A..A..Aspan?” SHe asked, holding her panic nerves at bay.

“Who is this?” again that cold voice came “I..I..I am his neighbor next door. I met you in his apartment," she answered in a petrified manner.

“That was not a meeting, Pretty lady, that was an attack. Also this is not the right time to call a male person. Neighbor or not but being a human you should check the time before calling,” Falcon scolded her in a calm yet stiff tone, which made her freeze.

Suddenly, the mobile was snatched from his hand and FAlcon looked back . Aspan gazed at him in rage but didn't show, "stop impeding my matters. How dare you pick up my call .” Aspan snarled.

Aspan needs to work a lot on his manners and also he is forgetting whom he is speaking to. He was not like this before. Is this wench instigating him against us?

She doesn't know who I am and what I can do?

“Rapunzel, I am fine and will call you tomorrow . Take rest and don’t be tense about me. I am shakaal you know Huaa haha Huaa ha ha ”

on the other side she smiled too.

Falcon noticed his change in Demeanor. It irritated him but he kept calm. Aspan served dinner and sat down beside him. Aspan was moaning in delight and Falcon was watching him with a stoic face.

"Aspan! Why are you moaning like someone is pleasuring you? Are you into men now?" Falcon smirked devilishly.

Aspen's eyes came out of his sockets and he glared, "Eldy, do you want proof of my interest? This food-making me moan like this. I must say Rapunzel is a master in cooking. That's why I kept her as my cook, just try it, Eldy you also start moaning " Aspan explained.

"She is just perfect, her Indian culinary skills are worth relishing " Aspan chimed

Falcon nodded "I agree brother as you are taking her name continuously since I am here" something stirred inside him. He was playing with a spoon while looking at Aspan who was busy eating.

Falcon said in his calculative business voice added '' food is not a concern of mine. She is keeping you happy and content. How is she in bed? " Falcon taunted.

Aspan left the spoon on the plate harshly and a clicking sound echoed in the atmosphere.

Aspan stood up harshly and pointed his finger at Falcon "don't fucking dare to say something ill about my Rapunzel! Brother or not I will not tolerate it if you say such to my Rapunzel,"

Falcon calmly looked at his plate and warning of Aspan fueled his rage for that low-class girl.

He said "Well , I am not surprised with your anger, but believe me you did a grave mistake to raise your finger at me "

"You know me brother, I don't take disrespect well. I met you after a long time so I am forgiving you for your kiddish behavior." Falcon whispered, dangerously.

Aspan sat back holding his rage, he knew it was his mistake to raise his voice and finger to his Capo. He murmured sorry with low eyes and voice. Falcon nodded royally and asked him to serve him dinner.

Aspan served him and Falcon took one spoon of steamed rice and gravy chicken and mixed them. He took the morsel in his mouth and closed his eyes with sheer pleasure. Indeed the food was very good

"Your chef cooked a nice dinner. You were right " Aspan smiled but Falcon ate his dinner peacefully.

" Na.Naan….didi" Falcon looked at him quizzically "Aspan is it time to sing a song ? I think it's because of your company of cheap people" Aspan snorted " I am not singing brother ….Her name is not chef ,, her name is Naan….di..nii"

Falcon furrowed " But it sounds like a maze if not song. " he chuckled humorously. "That's why I call her Rupunzel. It's difficult to pronounce her name." He smiled while scratching his beard mocking Falcon.

Falcon nodded and after dinner Falcon went to his room which Aspan provided him. He closed his eyes and mumbled, the beautiful face of the girl who injured him flashed in his eye.

"Di..Ni..?" He whispered softly. There was something which intrigued him towards her!
