《Capo☑️》Lights Out

Elena's POV
"I didn't know he would be this smart, the kids fucking three," a raspy boy growls out from around the corner.
"I know, I-" the guy stops talking when I walk around the corner, my gun drawn, Cameron right behind me.
"Hey boys," I wave my gun at the 14 guys surrounding my bambino, smiling cheekily.
"Who the fuck are you?" one questions.
I gasp dramatically, glaring at the guy.
"Did your momma never teach you to not cuss in front of children?" I question, feigning a appalled expression.
"My moms dead,"
"Oh congrats, your already half way to becoming batman," I snap.
"Fuck off,"
"Oh I will once you give me my kid," I state, my voice getting more serious at the end.
A look of realization crosses there face, and they all pull out guns.
"Your out numbered Helena, what's the plan?" A different guy talked.
"Yo, Cam, what time is it?" I ask, ignoring his question, my eyes making there way to the one light bulb hanging in the middle of the room.
I make eye contact with Miles, and squint my eyes slightly, to which he drops his head, knowing what was about to happen.
"About 9:17, why?" he asks, his voice dripping with fake curiosity.
I look back at the men, giving them a sweet smile.
"Boys, I think its time for lights out," I say, to which they look at me in confusion.
I raise my gun in one swift movement, before anyone could respond, and shoot the light bulb, encasing the room in darkness.
Gun shots rang out, but I none hit me or Cameron, for we ran across the room the moment the bulb shattered.
I shot everything that moved in the dark, knowing that Cameron was smart enough to stay behind or beside me.
Once the room became silent, I walked calmly to the chair Miles was in.
Cameron untied a unconscious Miles, panic attack, well I stood carefully watching my surroundings in the darkness.
We didn't tell anyone else with us, or tell anyone else we found the location of Miles because we still don't know who the mole is.

That's why I had to shoot out the bulb, me and Cameron were way outnumbered and I was not about to take any chances.
"Lets go," I say, once Cameron is done.
*****
"He's stable. He has two broken ribs on his left side, his right clavicle was broken, and his right shoulder was dislocated. Miles also has a massive brain swelling to which we placed him in a medical coma to hopefully reduce the swelling," Tomas, the new gang doctor says.
"How long till he wakes up?" Cameron questions.
"A couple of days, that's all," he says.
We both nod, me biting my lip, Cameron playing with his bracelet.
"Wha-"
"WHAT THE FUCK HELENA, your kid finally gets found after 5 months of being missing, and you don't think, 'oh lets tell the person who stayed with you through every fucking night you cried from nightmares,'" A voice screams, interrupting Tomas's response.
"I'll just leave you guys alone," Tomas says awkwardly, before walking off, Cameron trailing behind him.
I turn on my heels and come face to face with a seething Luca.
I glare at him, which he returns.
"Luca, if you don't remember, I have a mole, I'm not about to go tell the whole world I found my son and risk them telling the people and moving him again," I say, my voice calm, to calm.
"Are you saying you don't trust me?" he questions, his face staying emotionless, his voice even.
"I don't trust anybody Luca, and I know that you would never intentionally hurt my child but you could tell someone some information who wouldn't think twice before handing that same information to the wrong people," I say, my jaw clenching.
Don't trust.
I keep telling myself.
I know I'm right, it will only get me hurt, only get Miles hurt.
It did get Miles hurt.
"So that's it, your just going to pretend that all the late night talks, and nightmares, and tears that I wiped meant nothing, your just going to shut me out," he asked calmly, although he was hurt, I could see it in the gray pools of his eyes.

"I won't pretend, I don't pretend, I protect and you should know that from all those late night talks and tears that you wiped away. I won't risk my child's life, no matter what," I say, holding eye contact with him.
"You act like I'm going to hurt Miles,"
"You knew the kid for 4 days Luca, how can I trust you won't?" I challenge.
Its silent for a moment and I turn to walk away, but his voice stops me.
"Because I knew you for 7 months and you make me happy." he pauses, walking up to me.
The hell does that have to do with anything.
"I would never hurt Miles because he makes you happy, and you make me happy, and when Miles was gone, you weren't happy, you were broken, and it hurt because I felt like I couldn't do anything to help you. You kept pushing me away. And that sounds cheesy, like a Nicholas sparks novel, but its true."
"And I know I'm supposed to be tough and mean because I run the Mexican mafia, but you make me feel like I don't have to put on a show, and Miles, he showed me that to. He showed me that I don't have to scare everyone into liking me, he made me feel human because he treated me like one, so I would never hurt him, no matter what, because he was the first person that I didn't grow up with besides you who didn't treat me like a monster,"
"And you can decide if you want to trust me or not, although it would be helpful if you do because I just gave you a whole ass monologue of reasons to," he says, starring into my hazel eyes, his body only a foot in front of me.
We stare, neither backing down.
It stayed quiet.
2 minutes pass before finally I sigh.
"I need to take a shit," I say, walking away.
Luca's POV
She thought I would hurt Miles?
Then I gave her a whole ass monologue and all she does is stare me down before proclaiming she needs to take a shit.
I shake my head and turn around, walking the other way, to the vending machine.
Ya, its totally normal that have a vending machine in the middle of the hallway of her gang house.
I stick a dollar in the machine and press F17, waiting patiently for it to give me my candy bar.
To which the machine just didn't respond to my request.
"She's just stubborn you know," a voice sounds from behind me.
I turn and am faced with Cameron.
It takes my a small second to understand he was talking about Helena and not the vending machine.
"Ya, trust me, I know,"
"Look, Luca, I know her very well, and I know exactly why she is acting the way she is. She doesn't not trust you, in fact she trusts you almost as much as she does me, that's not the problem, that's just her cover." he says.
"Then what's the problem?" I ask, annoyed.
"It's not my place to tell you, but I can tell you that El admires and appreciates you. I see it in the way she looks at you or talks about you, or in some of the decisions she makes for you. I just ask that you don't give up on her, even when she tries to push you away, just hold her closer, because you guys have a beautiful thing," he says.
I just nod to which he sends me a smile.
He smacks the vending machine that stole my dollar, making the candy bar I payed for fall, then walks away, like this conversation never happened.
Which I think he wants to pretend is the truth.
I let out a sigh, and walk back towards the way Elena went. My phone buzzed and I took it out of pocket to look.
