There was a knock at the door that startled Hades out of his sleep. Before he could even answer, Hera burst in.
"WHERE IS SHE?!" She frantically shouted
Hades sleepily muttered something before completely being pulled out of his sleep to Persephone's yelp.
—
*boom* "WHERE IS SHE?!"
Persephone immediately shot up with a yelp, her heart beating rapidly, her breathing heavy, and her hair a complete mess.
She calmed down when she felt Hades' warm palm to her back, and she leaned into his touch.
"You're alright, sweetness." He comfortingly told her.
—
"Hera? What-"
"Persephone, sweet girl, Hecate told me everything. I'm so sorry..." Hera spoke with a strong tone, but her face held so much pity and concern that it confused Hades as to how she's handling this so well.
"I'm... I'm fine." Persephone squeaked out.
Hades knew she was lying, he could see her trying to hold it all in, her face was firm, a few twitches and blinks of her eyes to keep any tears from falling out. It broke his heart to see her that way.
"Persephone..." Hades said, sitting up to gather her up into his arms, "it's okay to let go, you can cry if you need to, this is a hard thing to face, sweetness."
Persephone seemed to think for a second, then nodded, but remained calm. To Hades' surprise, she just gave him a quick hug and kiss to the cheek and stood up.
"Hades, I'm done crying. Sitting here and doing nothing isn't going to change anything," her eyes flashed red as she turned to face Hera, "Hera, I need to see Zeus. I need to tell him what Apollo did."
Hades marveled at her composure. She held great posture, her eyes were a bright reddish pink, and her hair grew a little down to her waist with long red vines tangled in between.

"I need to make sure he pays for what he's done to me and all the other women he's assaulted." Persephone said, looking towards Hades.
Hades gave her a smile, and stood, summoning his crown and bident.
Persephone suddenly glowed white for a split second, then reappeared with a black dress that clung to her curves wonderfully. She had long, wavy dark hair, and a shining obsidian black diadem sitting at the top of her head.
And that's when Hades knew she was to be his queen.

Sustaining the King's Life
On a secluded mountain situated upon a kingdom known as Feuersturm, resides a seemingly trifling cabin with an unlikely duo as its inhabitant—a witch, and her apprentice who presumably comes from a clan sought after by slave traders. Faustina is a sixteen-year-old girl who fled the slave market with the help of a sickly witch named Eula, who later on trained her as an apprentice for the span of seven years. Plagued with a mysterious disease for several years, Eula died despite the efforts Faustina had exerted to cure her; in her last breath, she left an odd request behind. "Sustain the king's life. This is your duty. Do not adhere to the prophecy." To which the odd plea shadowed a bizarre series of events, a consequential sentence, similar to that of a premonition. The same night the phrase was muttered, the chain of events followed: A warlock's intrusion to their home, with a peculiar yearning to resurrect Eula from the dead... and the king himself, asking for Faustina’s aid. ** 1-2 chapters a day (GMT+8) ** (The artwork belongs to me.
