《Her tutor》40

I felt an empty presence from me. I did hear a thud but I thought that was Paxton having sex with her boyfriend. It was... disgusting.
I got up and checked the bathroom to see Peyton on the ground with blood surrounding the side of her head.
"PEYTON!" I whispered running to her side.
I pulled her in my lap and checked her head. It wasn't bad enough to kill her. I checked the toilet and she must have puked. Her hair was wet snd so was the shower so did she take a shower at 2 am?
I went to get Paxton and she came rushing in.
"Peyton oh my god." She said as Peyton looked lifeless.
She had pale skin and it hurt me to see her like this. I comforted her with the best she could.
"I'm gonna go get my dad. I'll be back." She said running out.
A few minutes later her dad came running in with a t shirt and some joggers. He carried her back in bed and turned the light on. He checked the side of her head.
"Paxton sweetie go get the IV supplies! And Anna will you go into Peyton's bathroom and get her first aid kit. It should be a box." He said and I did as fast as I could.
He must have stitched the cut on her head. A few minutes later she started to stir in her sleep but didn't wake up.
He lifted her sweatshirt to reveal the bruised abdomen she had over her toned stomach. Paxton gasped at the sight of it.
We looked up to hear Peyton whimpering in her own sleep when he pressed down on her stomach.
"Can you find her meds?" He asked as I went to her desk and found them.

He checked over them as it gave no information to help him. He set up an IV hooking the bag up as he let the tube flow directly to her IV.
This time he put it in her arm right shoved her forearm has apparently it was more effective that way. I watched as Peyton looked in pain. Her skin was pale. Her injury was badder than we thought.
She kept stirring in her sleep. She'd toss and turn a few times.
"Alright Anna you have an very important job tonight. Stay with her at all times." He said and I nodded not even realizing he hooked her up to a monitor.
The doctors must have packed it so I'm case anything happened. She had a little higher than normal vitals but it was good to keep her alive.
The school took her to the hospital and Paxton told them to immediately remove her from the hospital and to let them take her home with her. I was so confused on why but they got the parents permission and did. Has they supplied us with anything we possibly could use if anything happens.
"I'll come first thing in the morning to check on her." He said and I nodded.
First her dad kissed Peyton's forehead before whispering something. He left her and Paxton stood there. She was staring at her little sister who was laying there almost as if she had died.
"You know the first time we went to a hospital to check her severe insomnia she had a panic attack. She wouldn't behave until she was discharged from the hospital..." Paxton said speaking aloud softly and walking by me.
"She'd wouldn't go to sleep cause she was afraid we'd take her to a hospital again. I swore myself I'd never take her to a hospital unless it was a choice between life and death." She said as she rubbed her little sister's hand not letting her go.

"I love her with every little bit in my heart. And I can't lose her too. She's everything I have except our parents and Lucas. Without her nothing would be the same." She kept going as I listened to her story so intently.
"That is why I'm so over protective of her. I don't wanna see her hurt. Because I'm afraid she might hurt herself or if it gets worse she might have suicidal thoughts and never tell anyone. And for the love of god I can't let her go with that decision." She said rubbing her forehead before giving her a kiss.
"So Anna... please. Take care of her. And don't let her get hurt." She stood up facing me.
"And thank you. For being there for her when she couldn't come to me." I felt a hug from her.
She was in tears and it hurt to see her like this. It hurts to see when someone cries over their family members cause I know how it feels to lose contact with one. Might not be the same but it definitely felt the same.
"And do please. If you need an older sister there I'm always here." She said smiling and I nodded.
She left as the entire room felt somber. I leaned down to Peyton where her arm was occupied to machines they placed for her. I couldn't cry now. I wanna be strong for her so she could wake up and see I was there for her the entire time.
I could feel my hand shaking a little. Paxton was right. Without her nothing would be the same. As if my life was uncompleted without her. I climbed in the bed I carefully wrapped my arm around her torso not moving her because of the machines. I did move her head where it was in my neck and stroked her baby hairs that was deep on the bottom by her ear. I rubbed my thumb on the soft delicate skin she had.
Kissing her head repeatedly to know that she was there and I was gonna do everything in my power for her.
"I love you... please don't go." I whispered laying my head above hers.
The thought of her dying kept relapsing in my head and I couldn't shake it out of me. I held her free hand to know that she was there beside me.
I covered us up on our blanket making sure I didn't touch the tubes on her.
I kissed the side of her head and felt my thoughts calm down and slowly melt away as my eyes closed heavily.
