《Her tutor》16

"Ah shit... she left her charger with me." I used her charger to charge my phone and figured she left it here I thought maybe I could surprise visit her.
I drove over to her house as I walked up to the door. The door was surprisingly unlocked... I walked in quietly and went toward Peyton's room.
Her door... was on the ground with a hole in it... I walked in a saw her sleeping in the bed.
How does a 5'4 girl have so much anger...
"Hey Peyton..." I whispered shaking her arm slightly. I watched her flinch making me take a step back. Her room was too dark to see since she has black tapestries over her window.
She opened her eyes and I smiled but she immediately turned over.
"Anna go away..." she said and I was caught off guard...
What did I do...
"Hey wait tell me what I did wrong. I promise I can fix this..." I said and she didn't say anything.
I felt like I had broke her heart... did I? I mean I don't think I did anything wrong.
Wait... what if she found out Jackson was cheating on her. And she's mad that I knew.
"Anna will you get out!" I heard speak up in aggressive... but it sounded like she was crying when she said it.
"Can you tell me what I did wrong?" I asked her and she stayed quiet.
I started to walk but she spoke up.
"Wait..." she said but she looked as if I was thinking. I moved a little before seeing the light outside of her room was shining in and it's almost as if her face was bruised...
"No nevermind please get out..." she said and it hurt me to hear her say that.

I tried to do my best but I don't think it's enough...
I moved and that's when I saw it... busted lip and a cut slightly above her eyebrow.
"Peyton what happened..." I said not moving.
"Just go." She said.
"Not until you tell me what the hell happened to your face." I said and she shrugged.
"Cmon Peyton at least let me help you with the person that did this to you." I said walking around her room.
I looked in the bathroom to see if I could find any more evidence... I saw blood in the trashcan.
I looked at her as she sat up. She turned on the light and I saw everything... her face ws busted...
"P-Peyton..." I whispered.
She had tears rolled down her cheek as she laid down.
"You need to go... I don't mean this to hurt you... I mean this so neither one of us gets hurt anymore." She said as her voice cracked.
I couldn't leave her in this state... my god who would do such a thing to her...
"When does your sister get home?" I asked her.
"Tonight..." she whispered loud enough for me to hear her.
"Why don't you let me stay with you until tonight at least until she comes back." I said and she shrugged.
"No cause he has the key to this house and he could come back. Once he sees me with you he's gonna go crazy and probably kill you at this point." She said and it all connected...
"Jackson..." I whispered.
I connected... god I'm so dumb... No wonder Jackson is mad... he hates me...
"Please... Peyton let me stay... I promise I won't let him know." I said...
She was panicking... panicking by the fact that she might get hurt again. Worse to be sent to the hospital.

"Love please.. I wanna make sure your gonna be okay..." I said and after that she broke down.
I climbed onto her bed as I felt her head in my shoulder practically crying her eyes out.
I played with her hair as I felt her starting to calm down.
"Hey we're gonna get you taken care of okay? He's not allowed to act to like this." I whispered.
I watched her head nod a little... she moved her head down to my chest... I've never felt this before... I like this... I mean I hate Jackson... the things he's doing to this girl is unbelievable. Yeah sure I've may have played a few girls but at least I'm not hitting them until they bleed.
"Shit..." I hear Peyton said moving.
"Peyton... where else are you hurt?" I asked her and she looked at me.
"Can I?" I asked touching her sweatshirt.
I felt her hesitate... she started to take the sweatshirt off. Her body covered in black and purple with a mix of brown spots everywhere on her body. I looked at her... I mean I still she the pretty girl I see everyday... but this is just messed up.
"Hey look at me... Your gonna be okay. We're gonna get this take care of and he's never gonna hurt you again. I will make sure of it." I said as her eyes filled with tears again.
She laid on top of me... her legs were entangled of mine and I'm happy she felt safe with me but I'm still curious...
"Peyton... do you still love him. If I confronted him would you go back to him?" I asked her...
She thought about it... she hesitated before answering no.
"You sure? I understand if you don't want me involved with your relationship.." I said and she gave up and said no.
"I... hate him..." she whispered.
It was few minutes later when I looked down to see her dead asleep on me... I couldn't move. I though up of scenarios to help with Peyton when I was cut off by hearing the door open.
"Shit." " I whispered grabbing a blanket to see if I could hide myself.
"Peyton!" I heard hearing a girls voice. Oh thank god... I uncovered myself and pretended to be asleep...
"What. The. Fuck..." I said as Lucas came by me and his eyes widened.
I saw Anna and Peyton on the bed together.
"Haha... I knew she was gay from the start. Pay up Lucas." I said looking at him.
He was still staring at them as he turned me around.
"Look closer Paxton..." he said as I turned on the lights to see more better.
"Oh my god..." I whispered.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

MAZE - The Endless Quest
As all kids do, Hera wanted to be an explorer. Sadly when she turned 18, she discovered that her stats and lack of skills made her fail the requirements to become one, and she went to work on a bookstore. That should have been the end of her story. But when she wins a lottery to have her level up, she discovers a hidden skill and a rare one at that. The system gave her dream back, and this time she is not letting it go. ############################## The story is about a world where game-like systems are the norm. Everyone has a level, status, and even skills are a common thing. If your stats are good, you can also become an explorer, someone that ventures inside a place called MAZE, a dungeon of sorts filled with monsters, creatures, and things that the natural world is missing, such as magic and demi-humans. The story follows Hera, a woman who wanted to be an explorer, but her status were too low to become one. One day she wins a raffle that allows her to level up for the first time giving her the chance to achieve her childhood dream. It's more about how things work and what you can do with them than about power or revenge. The rhythm might be a bit slow for some, but that is the idea. I want to give sort of a slice of life feeling to most of it.
