what just happened? richie kissed you!! but you've only known him for a day! yeah, you think hes cute and funny, but what does he feel? maybe someone else knows.

you look at bev who's tanning by the water. you leave your spot next to stanley and walk up to her. 'can i please talk to you?'

she looks confused.

'yeah, what's wrong?' she asks.

instead of answering, you just run away. you run into the woods, your long skirt that you had changed into was blowing in the wind.

'y/n! wait!!' you can hear beverely say behind you.

'babe!' you hear richie yell. you laugh and stop, catching your breath. beverely finally gets to you and says: 'what??!! why?? but now, what did you want to talk about?' she says.

'does richie flirt with every girl?' you ask.

beverely laughs. 'well i guess he does it every now and then, but not as he does it to you.'

'what do you mean?' you ask, in confusion.

'y/n, seriously? do you not see the way he looks at you? he is in love with you. and i can tell that you are in love with him too. so go get your man! (eW LOL)'

you walk backwards until your back hits a tree, and you sit down.

'do you wanna go back to the boys?' she asks.

you shake your head. 'no, i need to sit here and think.' you say.

'okay' she says and walks away.

you sigh and curl up with your head resting on your knees. you just sit there and think.

after a while, you decide to head home. you walk back to the water where everyone was sitting and took your stuff.

'hey guys, i think i'm just gonna head home.' you say.

everyone replies with 'okay' and 'thats too bad' except richie who says:

'how are you expected to come home buttons?' he says with a wink.

'what?' you reply.

'forgot that you rode with me to get here?' he says.

'shit.. well i can walk ho-'

'uh huh. i'm taking you home princess.' he says and you blush.

he walks over to his bike and you jump on and you ride away.

you tell him the address and he takes you to his house. on the way there, he points to where his house is. it was right next to yours.

when you get to to your house, you jump off the bike and start walking towards the door.

not until richie grabs you by the waist and turns you to face him.

'what your number buttons?'

you tell him the number, and he writs it down on his hand with a marker.

'thanks, i'll call you' he says, and then he leans in and kisses you. his arms are still around your waist and pulling you closer to him. but your arms, hang by your sides, just like they did at the quarry. and your eyes are wide open in shock.

he pulls away from the kiss, winks, and walks to his bike ad pedals away. you, just stand there, shook. (LOLLL)

you walk inside and close the door, before sprinting to your room, not bothering to say hello to your parents.

you lay down on your bed and think about what just happened. you smile at the thought and drift to sleep.

this chapter kinda sucks and its rly short but i just wanted to post something before i go to sleep.
