On a day of early morning, Theo is sleeping in the back of his truck with a sheet being used as a pillow until a knocking noise wakes him up. He looks around to see where the noise came from and hears it again, causing him to look to the other side and realize it was from a hairless police officer, who looks visibly disgruntled. Theo quickly realizes the cop is there to scold him for sleeping in a forbidden area so he gets up and raises his right hand in a manner to tell him he accepts to get out of there and does not want trouble.
Theo turns on his truck and moves to another place. At night, he is sleeping in the driver's seat but a dark-skinned cop finds him with a lamp and wakes him up by knocking on the window with it, leading Theo to do the same thing he did with the first cop.
The cop forgives him and allows him to move but is visibly disappointed for Theo's lack of knowledge of the many policies in town and Theo turns on his vehicle, hits the accelerator pedal, and moves to another place, which turns out to be a mattress junkyard. He stays awake to verify if any cop comes and forces him to move again but, after looking around for a long time, Theo believes he can sleep there so he lays down, covers himself with the sheet, and takes out his phone for a moment. His lock screen is a picture of Liz staring up at the night sky. He sighs and decides to go to sleep. Unbeknownst to him, a spider is seen on his window and apparently gets in.
The next morning, Theo wakes up after another cop knocks on his window and moves again. However, the next morning, another dark-skinned cop knocks on his window twice to wake him up and he, reluctantly, accepts to follow the cop's demands.
Theo moves once again and part of his truck's gas leaks out of the exhaust pipe as a result of the many times he was forced to move but his luck doesn't get better one bit in the next two mornings as 2 more cops show up and knock on his window, much to his displeasure.
Theo moves yet again to another place but he is once again woken up the next morning by another cop who forces him to move one more time.
At night, Theo is staring at his phone as it seems he has found the perfect place to get a good night of sleep. The spider from a few nights earlier is crawling on his arm, causing him to put down his phone. Instead of being scared, Theo looks interested and allows the spider to keep moving through his hand and suddenly, somehow, breaks through his skin and enters. Theo panics, wanting to know how the spider got in, and starts tracking its movements around his arm and the shoulder.
Theo breaks into the animal clinic to get the spider out of his body. He opens a drawer, takes out a mirror and a scalpel, and takes off his T-shirt before he turns on the lamp on the table. The spider is crawling on his lower back and, once he gets it where he wants with the help of the mirror, Theo stabs it forcefully and takes it out before his lower back's wound starts to heal. He looks closely at the spider until it bursts into a tiny black smoke cloud, which leads him to drop the scalpel in fear and surprise.

Theo decides to call Selene to inform her of his experience and has her number but before he can call him, he ponders if calling her is a good idea since he doesn't know if she would like to hear from him. He hears another person knocking on his window but instead of being a cop, it is a man with a gun pointed at him. Theo looks around and finds 3 more men with guns pointed at him. Realizing he is outnumbered and not wanting more trouble than he's already been through, Theo raises his hands in a non-threatening manner but the men shoot at him mercilessly.

Scott runs through the woods at night. It reminds him of a night several years ago when he was being chased by hunters shortly after his first transformation. He remembers the story Chris Argent told him about a rabid dog breaking its teeth to get out of a cage.
He is roused from his memories by Malia saying they can still catch whoever killed Halwyn. Scott says they need to get the casing they found to Argent even if he is the one who fired the bullet.
Scott hears several heartbeats in the woods. His vision blurs for a moment and he can actually see the hunters that were just haunting his memories. He tells Malia and Lydia to run. (Brett having left to inform Selene of the situation). As he flees, Malia calls for him to wait. When he looks back, he can see a cadre of hunters pursuing. Scott is stopped short by several red laser-sight beams crisscrossing the woods.
He bares his fangs and growls as his eyes go red. He runs and tackles the closest figure. It's actually Sheriff Stilinski but it still takes a second for Scott to realize this and stop struggling. Stilinski has his handgun pointed at Scott's heart.
Scott's fangs and extra hair are visible to the rest of the dozen or so deputies in the woods. The sheriff attempts to calm them by saying it's just a kid, but Deputy Vargas (Maria Russell), with her gun still pointed at Scott, pipes up "What's wrong with his eyes?" Deputy Jordan Parrish steps in front of the woman and tells her to stand down.
Lydia and Malia catch up just as Scott's face returns to normal. Scott worries that the other deputies saw him, but Parrish says it's not anything they haven't seen before. They discuss the fact that Halwyn was a hellhound, which is supposed to be unkillable. Noah senses that Scott has more to tell. Scott says he doesn't believe it was a regular bullet that killed the hound, Parrish says he hopes that is the case. Scott doesn't reveal that he has the bullet casing, instead, he puts it in his pocket.
Later, Scott, Lydia, and Malia agree that they won't say anything about the bullet casing until they talk to Argent. Lydia says they need to do it soon because of her earlier (last episode) premonition of people screaming and killing each other.

As Liam suits up for lacrosse drills, Mason says the prospect of a mythical creature so powerful that only the Wild Hunt could hold it presents a serious problem.
Liam explains that Brett Talbot has agreed to help him run drills with the freshman hoping to make first line. Liam says Brett was the only person who would volunteer to help. Mason says that's because it's unlikely any of them will make first line before junior year. Liam says Scott, Selene and he all did it. Mason points out they had supernatural help.
Advertisement
Aaron thanks Liam for the equipment and the extra help. He acknowledges that they probably won't make first line, but he's still grateful. Mason tries to be encouraging but takes it overboard.
In the hallway, Tamora Monroe stops Mason and Liam. She encourages them to come by her office to talk. Mason says Liam has a lot to talk about. Liam demurs, but she persists saying he doesn't want to start the senior year with "any heavy burdens" on his shoulders and sets a time at 2 PM. She gives him a form and asks that he consider it. She says she has an open-door policy.
She opens the door to her office and sees a large hunting knife stuck into her desk. On the whiteboard, someone wrote "OPPORTUNITIES MULTIPLY AS THEY ARE SEIZED" in red marker. Mason catches sight of the quote and says that he loves Sun Tzu.
Monroe tries to block his view of the knife sticking out of her desk and sends him away. She manages to pry the knife out of the desk.
In the locker room, spiders are swarming over Aaron's helmet. He puts it on and they swarm over his face and into his mouth.

Parrish tries his key card on the cell as Lydia listens intently. She says that was not the sound she heard while inside the giant spider web. Parrish says it could be any public building, but Lydia suddenly remembers. It was one of the doors in the "closed unit" at Eichen House. Parrish refuses to let Lydia go to Eichen because every time she goes there someone tries to kill her. He agrees to go himself instead.

Selene and Liz are waiting outside on the lacrosse field. Both are looking at Brett as he warms up.
"I suppose Cheryl is the only one of you how's actually ending up at college," Liz muses.
Selene laughs. "How ironic. I suppose moving in with her dad was a good thing."
"Who would've thought?"
"Not me." Selene sighs and turns to face Liz. "Am I the only one who feels like something terrible is about to happen?"
"No." Liz seems to be able to breathe more easily with Selene's confession. "You're not. It's not only this weird fear thing going on, it's like I'm constantly holding my breath, afraid that the second I exhale someone might die."
"I'm going to help Scott and Malia find Argent. I need answers and-" She cuts herself off with a sigh. "If Brett or Liam asks, you know where I'll be." Liz nods and continues looking for a few seconds before turning back to the field.
~~~
Scott examines Argent's bullet casings so he can compare them to the one he and his friends found as Malia paces around the bunker.
"He's not answering our calls or texts, he's not home, he's not here. I mean, maybe Argent just doesn't wanna be found?" Malia asks. Scott sighs like in defeat but notices Argent's laptop and it gives him a bright clue.
"Well, he-He would have his calendar on his laptop. If we crack the password," Scott proposes. Upon hearing Scott's suggestion, Malia stays with a surprised and pleased expression.
"I didn't think you had it in you." Malia sits down and opens Argent's laptop. She starts thinking of what could be the password until getting one while Scott paces around the bunker. "Gun." Malia types in 'Gun' but once she tries to access Argent's calendar, it says 'PASSWORD FAILED' and she guesses another possible password. "Lots of guns." Malia types in 'Lots of guns' but her second attempt ends up in failure just like the first one but she doesn't give up and is quick in finding another possible password. "Hunter." Malia types in "Hunter" but she fails once again, only then she realizes that the password she just typed in wasn't be the correct one after all.
"No, no, it's definitely not 'hunter'. I mean, 'cause why would it be hunter because Argent's not even a hunter anymore, so I mean, there are not even hunters for werewolves at all anymore, right? So why would anybody think that there was a hunter in the woods when it was actually just deputies?"
Scott wasn't listening to what Malia was saying, again, as he was more concentrated and curious over what is inside a crate in front of him but realizes Malia was saying something and turns to her.
"What?"
Malia, ignored by her Alpha, acts like she didn't say anything at all and looks at him blankly. "Nothing."
"What are you two doing?" A voice suddenly asks and their heads snap up to meet Selene's questioning gaze.
"Breaking into Argent's computer," Scott immediately confesses.
"Huh." She walks over to Malia's side. "Let me try." She taps "ALL...", as Argent chose his daughter's name to be his password, similar to how Scott did before.
At Eichen House, Conrad Fenrisexplains about Halwyn's past. He says the Hellhound built the closed unit at Eichen House back in 1912 so that "he'd always have a room." Fenris says no one knew the hellhound's actual age and that he remained in Eichen for hundred years in a "state of hibernation in case IT got out."
Fenris tries the lights, but they simply fizzle, he says something's wrong. A woman's voice calls for help from down the hallway. Parrish asks him to open the door, but Fenris acts scared and says he won't. Parrish's eyes go orange and he insists. Fenris opens the door then quickly locks it and runs away after Parrish enters.
Brett just scores and the other players applaud him as he looks at them cockily.
"Oh! That's called a perfect hitch," He states smugly. Liz rolls her eyes at her friend's arrogance. Liam sighs and rolls his eyes before heading back to defense as does Brett, who passes smiling because of his abilities. Brett takes the ball and manages to easily pass through Liam and again, causing his friends to applaud him even more. "Perfect split dodge."
"Show-off," Liz mumbles under her breath. Liam hits himself in the helmet with his lacrosse stick in order to psych himself up but finds himself smiling at Liz's comment. Brett scoops the ball and Liam this time is able to put himself in front of Brett but Brett hits Liam's shoulder with his own so hard that both Liam and his stick fall to the ground and Brett scores yet again, leaving Liam disappointed with his poor performances.
"Perfect rocker,"
Liam stands up and turns to the freshman students playing, and demonstrates his ability to be a future captain by being decisive. "Just remember to cover your back, especially if your opponent's a dick."
Brett looks at Liam doubtful that he has the necessary skills to replace Scott and Selene as the new team's captain "You got some pretty big shoes to fill with all of us leaving. You ready for all this?"
Liam tries to convince Brett he's prepared by reporting the progress he's made. "I managed all summer."
"Summer's over." Brett takes the ball and Liam is not only pushed to the ground but is also bowled because of the force he used to lunge toward Brett, allowing hteç atter to score again, leaving Brett's friends dazzled. Liam punches the ground in frustration and anger before heading back to his position as Brett does so, who giggles in amusement. Mason and Lori just arrive at the stands to watch the drills while the former comments Corey's summer work on lacrosse. They sit down next to Liz.
"Corey's been training all summer to play goalie. He's actually gotten really good," Mason boasts. Brett shoots the ball and Corey tries to defend but he not only misses the shot but falls to the ground. After witnessing the opposite of what Mason said, Lori tries to give him some encouragement.
"The season doesn't start for at least a week."
Mason shakes his head, disillusioned with Corey's summer work. "Thank God."
Brett runs toward the goal with the ball and Liam puts himself in front of Brett and the two play what looks like to be a game of chicken but Brett pushes Liam back with his superior strength until they reach Corey and the three of them fall piled up inside the goal, staggering everybody in the stands, including Mason, who is incredibly appalled by this unexpected play.
"Um, was that Liam, Brett, or Corey?" Liz asks.
"I think that was all of them," Lori replies.
"Oh," Mason and Liz say. Brett gets up and looks at Liam disappointedly as he expected better from the future captain while the latter glares at him as though this was the last drop.
"You're losing it, dude." Brett moves back to his position and Liam does so too. But it is more than clear his anger is reaching its limits and his left hand's claws extend and bore through the glove's tips. Liam grabs the ball forcefully before throwing it to Brett and putting himself in a defensive stance with a look of intense determination in proving his skills to Brett and firmly grabs his lacrosse stick to the point he uses his superhuman strength to twist the stick's metal shaft. Brett scoops the ball and it's revealed that the ball possesses marks from Liam's claws.
"Oh ow," Liz says, knowing this will go wrong.
Brett runs toward Liam, who gets under him and flips him over, inducing Brett's friends to gasp in shock. Suddenly, Liam, blinded by his rage, takes the ball and heads toward his own team's goal while growling and panting simultaneously. Corey becomes nonplussed by this unexpectancy and terrified of what Liam could do and Liam shoots the ball with incredible force toward Corey's head but he ducks right before the ball could hit him, allowing Liam to score for Brett and tearing a giant hole in the goal.
Brett stands up to his feet and runs toward Liam. He looks surprised but satisfied that Liam's attitude is exactly the same from when he used to attend Devenford Prep with Brett.
"There he is. That's the IED I know. What's it stand for? Intermittent Explosive Disorder? What's it gonna take for you to explode, Liam?" Brett asks mockingly. Liam has clearly no patience to hear Brett's comments about his IED and attempts to walk away with his irises glowing gold but Brett stops him, indicating that he's concerned about Liam's anger. "I'm trying to help you. You're not in control, and if you don't fix it, someone's gonna get hurt."
Liam, staring at his fellow Werewolf with his golden eyes and considering his words, gets out of the field to calm himself down.
Brett and Liz share a look from across the field. She shakes her head before following after Liam.
~~~
Tamara Monroe returns to her car and finds the lacrosse ball Liam just shot. She notes the claw marks in it and notices Brett on the field. Brett shoots. Corey manages to catch with his stick but is propelled back to the ground by the force of it. Brett helps Corey up.

Jordan Parrish follows the voice in the darkened halls of Eichen House. He finds the large shower room filled with dead and dying people. One woman is still alive. He reaches her and sees a large electrical cable has been cut and dropped on the wet floor. The current killed everyone but her and is still flowing. She says, "It's here" just as Fenris enters. He says he put the people in the shower room then picks up the electrical cable and jabs it into Parrish's chest.

Night has come. Liam has arrived in the Boys' locker room and drops his lacrosse equipment before he leans against his locker and begins to speak his mantra.
Liam's anger keeps rising and rising and his fangs come out as a result.
"The sun, the moon..."
He gets so frustrated to the point he starts punching his own locker door with both his fists, one each time as he keeps repeating the mantra word by word.
"The sun! The moon! The moon!"
"Liam," Liz's voice fills the room and he turns around to face her. His angry eyes turn soft while he pants in exhaustion.
"I-" Liam starts but quickly closes his mouth when he doesn't know what to say. He looks at the ground, avoiding Liz's piercing eyes. Yet, she doesn't say a word and simply sits down on the bench, dragging Liam to it too. She turns him away from his destroyed locker and starts to silently repeat the mantra as Liam focuses on his breath and her voice.

Argent is talking to 6 soldiers while doing a gun deal.
"Major Delane is my contact at Camp Robertson. I'm surprised he didn't tell me about the change in protocol," Argent inquires.
"Well, the Major got promoted and was promptly shipped overseas," One of the soldiers explains.
"Huh? Didn't know the Army worked that fast."
"They do when they want to."
Argent figures out that the guy isn't aware of what the Major is before correcting him and demanding answers. "The Major's not Army, he's a Marine. Who sent you? Who's buying all this weaponry?"
"We don't need to have a situation."
"We already do. See, I don't sell to weekend warriors. You want these guns, you'll answer my question."
The soldier and his fellow militaries decline to answer any of Argent's questions by showing their uncooperativeness and obduracy. "We're taking the guns, and the ammo, and the crates." the 'soldiers' point their guns at Argent threateningly but he doesn't seem panicked at all but unimpressed and disdains the militaries.

Gina the goblin, Dungeon Extraordinaire
Goburi was a goblin, a very poor goblin and now that she was dying that meant one thing, she could not even pay the toll to cross into the afterlife. Goblins worshipped gold, gold watched over them and Goburi had never earned or lost a mote, finding herself to be something of a heritic. Like most descisions in life it had felt like the nobler pursuit at the time, but with the darkness closing in, she realized how terrified she was. Even if she had died in debt, the great elusive glimmer in the depths would have put her soul in a new body, bringing with her the debt and some vague memories. Another chance to die in the black. Goburi's last thoughts were dark specters of regret chasing themselves in circles of thought until she prayed for it to be done. She really had no idea where the souls of goblin heritics went, it had never really happened before. A new dungeon was born, a crystal of pure magic containing a soul that failed to pass to the afterlife. As it gained awareness something else came through that was never supposed to be there. Memories of a workshop, and an uncomfortable need to earn gold.
8 125Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.

8 104Moonlight Sword Sect
One of the three great sects, the Moonlight Sword Sect is a powerful sect that rules over a overwhelming amount of deity-like cultivators, like a dragon that rules over powerful treasures. The Moonlight Sword Sect, also called as the ?Moonlight Illusions Sect,?is the most feared sect among the three great sects for its profound and mysterious technique that can destroy realities and even the time itself. Indeed. This is the sect that no one must or even most, "can" fight as this sect is strong by any means, be it offensive or defensive as they can bend the reality to illusions, giving the attacker or defensive side a dim light of hope of surviving from the wrath of the Moonlight Sword Sect. However... "Are you really that serious, sect master?" "Yes, I am indeed serious." "You're giving away the sect master role to someone so that you can go away from your sect-master duties and court that female cultivator from other sect?! Are you serious sect master?!" "Yes." "Sigh... I can't believe this is happening..." ??? "Xiare! I challenge you!" "Hehehe.... Even though you're an OP character, you're still a weakling, my little Eumi. Fine then. I'll accept your challenge. Let's duel! Show me your best cards!" Indeed. Instead of a more serious tone of what the Moonlight Sword Sect cultivators imagined and portrayed by the other cultivators to be, they were instead opposite of that. Instead, they were casual, free from worries and most importanty— carefree with no sign of ending. It was as if they were like a joke, despite being one of the most feared sect across the cultivation and mortal world. Follow the cultivators of the Moonlight Sword Sect as they experience the changing world with their carefree lifestyle.
