The Red Visors are searching Terra Technica for Lloyd, Nya, and Jay. Lloyd signals them to move along, but stop when they look at a monitor showing Kai and Cole crashing during the Speedway Five-Billion race and turning into cubes.

"Our friends wouldn't want us to give up. We have to keep going" Lloyd says

Jay nods "We'll find a way. Somehow. We're going to find them, and bring them all back"

"You know you're all terrible at hiding"

"ah!" the ninja jump and turn to see Aria behind them

"please stop doing that" Lloyd says "it's creepy and scary"

"I'll stop the day you all stop being ninja" Aria walks ahead of them

"Come on, Kai and Cole are gone" Jay complains "don't you feel any sympathy for them?"

"Of course I pity my cousin and flamebrain" Aria turns to them "but standing around feeling sorry for them won't bring them back, in this game we don't know if those cubes are merely just their souls or something trapped.. or if they're really gone"

The 3 ninja look down solemnly.

"Stop that" Aria looks annoyed "it makes me sick"

"Their's nothing wrong with grief or sadness!" Nya shouts "you know sometimes we feel like we can be friends and other times we just can't stand you! Why are you so mean?!"

"I'm the Dark Lord" Aria sighs "I'm not supposed to be your friend, all this sappy sadness is sickening to me, they're gone.. deal with it"

"Aria" Lloyd says calmly "they're not dead, they can be brought back"

"well good for you" Aria turns around and begins walking "if you're heading to the last key-tana then follow me, it's in Terra Domina"

"alright, lead the way" Lloyd agrees

"Lloyd" Nya pulls him to the side with her and Jay

"Listen Lloyd, we're all for finding the last key-tana" Jay starts

"But not with her, we're reminded over and over by her that we're enemies" Nya explains "Cole's her cousin but she doesn't even feel sympathy that he's gone, instead she's shaming us for being sad!"

"Listen guys I know how you feel and you're right that we are technically enemies" Lloyd agrees "but I grew up with Aria, you have to understand that she lost her mother at a young age. Aria said everything that she did cause she can't bring her mother back.. unless she takes over Ninjago.. as ninja it's our job to prevent her from taking over. She can't bring her mother back, but we can bring back Cole and Kai, so that's why.."

"I think I understand" Nya put her hand on his shoulder "I guess she's right though, standing around feeling sorry for them won't bring them back"

"I get it, what she meant by that was by finding the key-tana we can bring them back" Jay clarifies "the way she says things is really harsh though"

"I know, but she was raised to be our greatest enemy" Lloyd says "it's not like we'd expect anything different"

"Are you guys coming or not?!" Aria shouts from down the alley

"We're coming" Lloyd runs over to her

"I kinda feel bad for Aria now" Jay admits

"Yeah.." Nya looks at him "you guys weren't there, but me and Kai have met Aria's mother before, when we went back in time. Aria's a spitting image of her."

"We should follow them" Jay says

Nya and Jay join the two. They walk in front of a red Arcade Pod with flames on its screen.

Lloyd stands next to Aria "It looks a little...intense"

Unagami's logo appears on the screen.

"That's because we're getting close to the end of the game" Aria tells him

Jay presses a button on the Arcade Pod, causing it to open. Aria goes through first with Lloyd, Nya, and Jay following. They enter Terra Domina and see a floating temple from above.

"Holy cow!" Jay shouts "Unagami's Temple of Madness"

"I'd go mad too if I lived here" Nya says

They walk through an entrance and see many levitating platforms.

"We should head back. Let's go about the dangers, and come back with a plan" Lloyd turns around and the platform that they are standing on glitches "Did you guys feel that?"

"Feel what?" Jay questions

"I don't know. I thought I felt something" Lloyd says

The platform disappears and they land on one that looks like the rest. The Ninja look behind them and see the Unagami logo. The platform they are on starts to disappear, so they quickly jump onto another platform.

Lloyd panics "W-what's happening?" they jump onto another platform "Where's that music coming from?"

"Music with a lot of base never mean anything good" Aria says

"We've entered the world of old school platform games!" Jay shouts

They jump onto another platform.

"oh come on, those games force you to run towards chaos" Aria complains

"Eh, technically side-scroll toward chaos" Jay comments

"same thing" Aria says

They jump onto a platform.

"Ok what do you know about them?" Lloyd questions

"There's rules to these games. One: You can't go backwards" Aria says as they jump on another platform "Two: Everything speeds up the further you go!"

Aria, Jay, and Lloyd jump on another platform. Nya runs off the one she is on and nearly falls, but is caught by Jay who pulls her up .

"Three: All of the obstacles are pre-programmed, so if you learn the timing, you can evade the danger" Jay continues

Aria points to an enemy ahead, they jump over the enemy. They jump on multiple platforms

"But the most important thing to know is: If you die, we have to start over at the beginning!" Aria finishes sounding annoyed

"Wait, what do you mean we start-OOF!" Nya gets hit by a giant spiked mallet

She falls off the platform, and loses a life. They are transported to the start of the level. Nya is left with 1 life, while Lloyd, Aria, and Jay still have 2.

Nya looks at Aria "Okay, I see what you mean"

"We have to do all that over again?!" Lloyd shouts

"All of us?! How's that fair?" Nya questions

Jay sighs "we pay attention, we won't make the same mistakes twice"

They jump on numerous platforms. Jay and Aria slide beneath an enemy, while Nya and Lloyd jump and leap over it. They reach a section with spiked mallets swinging. Jay dodges the mallets and does a dance. A red cube nearly falls on him, but he dodges it.

"Jay move!" Aria pushes him

Another cube falls down and hits Aria, causing her to lose a life. The group respawn at the start of the level. Aria and Nya have one life, while Jay and Lloyd has two.

"Okay, I'm getting a little tired of this" Lloyd says

"Hey why'd you do that?" Jay questions looking at Aria

"Other then me you're the only other one that's decent at games" Aria says "but you're also the one most likely to mess up, so you'll need that extra life unlike me"

"..you make it so hard to like you" Jay sweat drops

"I know" Aria turns

The group pass through different sections of the level. Lloyd reaches a wall that starts pushing him off a platform. He slowly slides off, but jumps, knocking him off and causing him to lose a life, they respawn at the start. They now all have one life left except for The four sigh.

"Okay, we're all down to our last life" Lloyd says "except for Jay"

Aria rolls her eye, they once again pass through the level's various obstacles. They jump over the wall and land behind it. The area behind them disappears.

"Ha! No more scrolling! Did we beat the level?" Lloyd asks excitedly

Unagami's logo appears behind them without being noticed.

"I don't see the Key-Tana" Nya says

Fast music starts to play

"...shit" Aria says

"The music always gets faster when the game's about to get harder!" Jay shouts

Another section of the level appears in front of them.

"Oh, an infinity maze!" Jay shouts

"Let's hope not. Infinity means forever" Lloyd panics

They feel a rumble. They start jump on two platforms and a trampoline, sending them to a higher platform. Flaming bombs start falling from above. Nya shields herself and jumps to the others.

A bomb explodes in front of them, sending Jay flying. He sees spikes protruding from a wall. The spikes shoot out from the wall. They dodge the spikes. Jay jumps on a platform. The platform starts burning. Jay jumps onto another platform.

"And apparently the floor can just burst into flames!" Nya shouts

They jump onto a trampoline and begin avoiding the obstacles of the area. They start to slow down, growing tired. They stop in front of spikes coming from above.

"Ugh. I'll never make fun of old games again. This is hard" Jay complains

"Really? This is not my first time doing stuff like this" Aria says

"What kind of land do you have in the shadow lands?!" Lloyd questions

Aria shrugs "Oh you know just frozen mountains, blizzards, volcanos, lava rivers-"

"Ok ok I get it" Lloyd stops her "Very dangerous. No wonder this game was never released. Who wants to play something called Spiky-bomb-bricks-hot floors"

A Loot-Box appears behind Lloyd.

"Guys, look! A Loot-Box!" Nya jumps onto the spikes and makes her way to the loot box "Come on! Give me something awesome!" She reaches the Loot-Box and a menu appears, showing a cyclone symbol "Uhh, cyclones are not a good thing" Lloyd and Jay reach Nya "They're whirling clouds of chaos that obliterate everything in their path"

"Whoa!" Jay and Aria push Lloyd and Nya, with themselves out of the way, as a cube hits the floor, smashing into pieces "Maybe the only way to beat this thing is a force of nature!"

"Only one way to find out" Aria presses the cyclone icon. A yellow Airjitzu cyclone covers her "I think this gives me the ability to use Airjitzu... funny cause I've never used it before"

"That's great but it's only temporary. The flashes are speeding up!" Jay complains

"If you can Airjitzu, you can make it to the top of this maze" Lloyd tells her

Aria nods

"But what about us?" Nya questions

Lloyd and Jay look at each other and nod.

"Go without us. It's better than none of us making it" Jay says

"Or" Aria puts her arms around Lloyd "grab on everyone"

"You're crazy" Nya laughs

Nya hangs onto Jay and Jay holds onto Lloyd.

Aria uses Airjitzu to get to the top of the maze

Lloyd looks down "Guess it wasn't so infinite after all"

"Then they should call it the Super long and incredibly annoying but eventually there's an end to it maze" Nya says

"hm" Aria looks down

"why do I have a déjà vu feeling?" Lloyd questions

"...yeet?" Aria looks at him

"no no no" Jay drags her away "not in this timeline, you're not starting that"

Jay drags her through an entrance with Lloyd and Nya following. They enter a dojo-like level. Intense music starts playing.

"The music again? How can it get harder?!" Jay shouts in frustration

"This must be the final boss battle" Aria says as she stands up

Icons of the four Ninja appear in front of them.

Fighting Game Voice: Choose your champion.

"So now it's an old school fighting game? MAKE UP YOUR MIND, DUDE!" Jay yells

"What does it mean choose your champion?" Nya asks

Fighting Game Voice: Choose your champion.

"It means one of us has to fight the boss" Aria explains

"I'll take this one" Lloyd volunteers

Aria, Jay, and Nya step back and nod. Lloyd presses his icon.

Fighting Game Voice: The champion has been chosen.

Fighting Game Voice: Unagami will choose your opponent... Fighter two will be...

A fighter appears in front of Lloyd. Lloyd gasps, the fighter appears to be Harumi.

"Lloyd" she says

Lloyd stares at her "Ha...Harumi?"

"Come on I thought I killed her?!" Aria shouts

Nya, Jay, and Lloyd all look at her.

"...I mean.. I thought.. she died" Aria laughs nervously

"We're talking about this later" Lloyd says

"damn it" Aria looks away

"It's good to see you again, Lloyd" Harumi says

"How?" Lloyd asks

"It's not her, Lloyd. It's just a trick" Jay bangs on a barrier and gasps "A force field!"

"Lloyd! Lloyd!" Nya shouts

"No, no, no!" Jay shouts

Aria's eyes glow purple "I'm gonna kill her again"

Jay and Nya stare at her for a minute before they start banging on the force field

"Did you miss me, Lloyd? I think about you so much. Sometimes I wonder...if things could've been different. Maybe in another time or place?" Harumi spawns a katana behind her back "Maybe we can be together again. You...and me. YAH!" Harumi hits Lloyd her katana.

Harumi strikes at Lloyd with her weapon, but is blocked by his Prime Controller.

"I can't fight her!" Lloyd shouts

"It's a simulation! It's not her!" Jay bangs on the force field

Aria stays quiet and crosses her arms. Harumi spins at Lloyd, but he dodges. She strikes at him, but is blocked. She pushes him back.

"Ah!" Lloyd catches his breath "Harumi, don't do this!"

"You left me, Lloyd! All the people you save, and where were you when I needed you? Where were you?!" Harumi strikes him but is blocked.

She tries to stab him, but misses. Jay and Nya gasp, the two opponents continue to strike and block each other. Lloyd starts to attack back. The two attack one another with their weapons. Lloyd and Harumi block each other.

Harumi's face softens "Lloyd...I don't have long. But I wanted to say: I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. If you could only give me another chance?"

"Harumi, is it really you?" Lloyd asks

Jay bangs on the force field again "No! Lloyd! It's not Harumi! The computer's just trying to get into your head!" He bangs on the force field again "It's nothing but a program!"

Lloyd glances at Aria and breaks free from the block "Harumi, what did we do the first night we were alone together?"

"Watch the sunset?" Harumi questions, Lloyd frowns "Listen to music?"

Lloyd sighs "We went to the canals in Ninjago City. To give food to the poor. The real Harumi would've remembered that. You're not Harumi!"

Lloyd strikes Avatar Harumi. They begin swinging their weapons and dodging each other. Lloyd and Avatar Harumi's health bars drop. She strikes at Lloyd, only to be blocked, and Lloyd counter attacks. The dueling opponents circle each other and wait for the other's attack.

Avatar Harumi charges at Lloyd. Lloyd charges at Harumi. The two slash each other. They both stop. Avatar Harumi disappears, and Lloyd turns into an Energy Cube.

"No!" Jay shouts

"Lloyd!" Nya shouts

The force field finally disappears and they run towards the Cube. An Aerial Drone collects the Cube as Nya attempted to grab it. The Aerial Drone teleports away. The last Key-Tana appears.

Nya looks sad "What do we do?"

"We do what we have to do" Jay looks at her "We get our friends back... and we stop Unagami"

Aria walks up and takes the last Key-Tana "let's go"

Nya nods lightly while Jay walks over to her. Aria stores the Key-Tana and the unlikely trio glance at each other before walking out of the level together.
