With the original four Ninja gone, the Sons of Garmadon took over Ninjago. Those who remained went into hiding. Aria opens her eyes as she heard the door to the hideout close.

"It's freezing" Dareth complains

"Then they'll never bother to look here" Misako replies "Did you get food?"

"They took everything. Except..." Dareth pulls out the now-stale Puffy Potsticker "Ah-ha! Mr. Chen's Puffy Potsticker. I was gonna save it for later, but it's yours" he holds it out to Lloyd "Eat up, Lloyd. You lost your Elemental Power, but not your appetite"

Lloyd held back a look of disgust "Uh, uh...they're just as hungry as I am"

"No, son. You need your strength" Misako argues

"And we're here to protect you, remember? We insist" Nya tells him

Lloyd reluctantly eats it "Hmm. Puffy."

"Are you trying to give him strength or give him food poisoning?" Aria stands up

"Morning Aria" Lloyd greets

"Dareth's just trying to help" Misako says

"Yeah that's great and all but we need luck, not help" Aria walks over

Nya sighs and faces Lloyd "Alright break's over. Let's go again"

Nya fought Lloyd while everyone else watched.

Dareth walks over to P.I.X.A.L "How goes the training for the leader of our resistance?"

"Truthfully, not so well. Lloyd says he doubts he can lead us without what makes him powerful" P.I.X.A.L. replies

"But Nya still has her power. Doesn't he believe it'll come back?" Dareth questions

"He wasn't talking about his power. He was talking about his friends" Misako replies

Dareth sighs "Ah, man. I miss those Ninja too. It's only been a week since Emperor Garmadon's taken over, and now everything's upside down. If it means anything, I'll protect the little green guy with my life if it comes to that"

"We all would" Misako agrees

"Hmph, yeah right" Aria turns and walks away

"Why does she have to be here?" Dareth asks "Isn't anyone a bit worried about the current Overlord being here?"

"Aria is here for her best interests" Misako replies "it may not seem like it but she does care deeply about Lloyd, they were once the best of friends after all. Not to mention the loss of Wu and Cole weighs heavily on her, Wu was once her Sensei and Cole is her cousin. I fear though that we will need more help"

"Perhaps we should reach out to the other Elemental Masters" P.I.X.A.L. suggests

"What have they done for Ninjago lately?" Dareth questions

"It has been a while since we saw Skylor" Misako says "But can we trust them?"

Music plays on the television. The Police Commissioner, arrested by the Sons of Garmadon, gets inside the police car.

Ultra Violet is on TV "Oh-ho-ho! Looks like another one bites the dust. Who will be next? Ultra Hunt!"

"Turn it off" Nya says

Lloyd sighs and looks down.

"Ninja never quit. Again" Nya commands and they fight again.

"Everyone this is Lloyd Garmadon" the teacher gestures to the young blonde boy next to him "from now on he'll be attending Darkley's with all of you"

Everyone started whispering and talking about him. Lloyd looked down a bit nervous.

"Let's see.. you can sit.." the teacher scans the room

"Teacher" someone in the back raises their hand "he can sit next to me"

The other students gasp looking surprised.

"Great" the teacher looked equally surprised "Lloyd you can sit in the back with Aria"

"A-Aria?" Lloyd made his way to the back where a familiar blonde girl sat, he smiles "Aria! What are you doing here?" he happily takes the seat beside her

"Got sent here after mama died" Aria tells him "my uncle Lu takes me during vacations"

"This is great" Lloyd puts his feet up on the table "I got my partner in crime back"

Aria rolls her eyes playfully "you haven't seen me in 2 years"

"Like I could forget the pranks we pulled as young kids, that's an achievement in life" Lloyd argues

"Oh Lloyd" Aria laughs "we're still kids"

"Yeah, but we're gonna rule this school" Lloyd places his arms behind his head

One of the boys pull out Lloyd's chair from under him and Lloyd falls to the ground.

"ah!" Lloyd glares at the boy "hey!"

The class and teacher all laughs except for Aria. Aria clears her throat and the the boy looks at her. Lloyd stands up as Aria stands up and pours water all over the boy's head.

"Whoops my hand slipped" Aria's eyes glow purple

The boy immediately knees on the ground in front of her and Lloyd noticed everyone had shut up immediately.

"I don't care what kind of pranks you all pull on my friend here.. but.." Aria glares at them all "don't ever think about hurting him"

Aria opens her eyes and sees Lloyd fighting P.I.X.A.L. and her Samurai Mech.

"Embrace your power. Before you can use it, you must find it within" Nya encourages

P.I.X.A.L. restrains Lloyd with chains.

Nya watches "Fight it, Lloyd. Be stronger than what holds you back"

"Let me out" Lloyd struggles

"Fight it!" Nya shouts

"I—I can't. I can't!" Lloyd shouts "Just let me out of these stupid chains, okay? I can't"

Nya unties him "Or won't? You're not the only one who lost everything. I lost my friends. I lost my boyfriend. My brother. They'd want us to fight"

"What if—What if—What if my powers don't ever come back?" Lloyd asks

"Then we fight on with what we have" P.I.X.A.L replies

"And we build what we don't" Nya adds "We get stronger. Each and every day. But we need you to believe in yourself"

"I watched the Bounty get crushed to pieces. And the others... They all gave their powers to save my life. And I-I couldn't do anything. All I could do was watch" Lloyd says

"There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of them. But as long as I have my power, and breath in my body, I'm going to protect you. And you are going to defeat your father" Nya comforts him "Because what else is there for us to do? Give up? I don't give up"

"Then maybe you should lead the Resistance" Lloyd argues

"It's not like you to give up like that Lloyd" Aria walks over to him "or do you still need a little push?

"I-"

Misako runs in "We have to leave"

Dareth runs in behind her "Like, pronto"

"What is it?" Nya asks

"Garmadon's forces are sweeping the entire block" Misako replies

"And we're not talking brooms and dustpans, but a full-on battalion" Dareth adds

"Let's go" Aria pushes Lloyd towards the exit "move it!"

They leave, and the Sons of Garmadon checks their hideout. Mr. E finds food and P.I.X.A.L.'s mech. Outside, the resistance sees them all around.

"We have to go the other way" Nya says

"They're coming this way too" P.I.X.A.L informs them

Lloyd looks at the rooftops "Do you think we can all make it to the top?"

"No time" Aria shakes her head

They hide instead and the Sons of Garmadon move past, the group sighs in relief.

"That was close" Misako says

Dareth pants "If I were a lemon, I'd be lemonade"

"Let's get out of here" Nya says

Lloyd looks around at the rubble "The Bounty. This is where it was destroyed"

"We have to move on. We're all that's left" Nya tells him

Lloyd finds a portrait of himself with his friends and finds a tea leaf.

"Lloyd" Aria takes the leaf from him "Do you know what this is?"

"What is it?" Lloyd asks

"Is that—It appears to be a tea leaf" P.I.X.A.L says

"It's Traveler's Tea" Aria tells them

Lloyd looks up "I only see one thruster. Do you see the other?"

"No" Nya gasps "And there's only one sail. I see the anchor but no rudder. This is only half the Bounty"

"The other half is somewhere else" Misako smiles

"They could still be...alive" Lloyd says happily

They cheer but are surrounded by Sons of Garmadon.

"Everyone get outta here. I'll hold them off" Dareth says going in front of them

"Dareth, there's too many!" Nya shouts

"I told you the Brown Ninja would give his life to protect you. I may be slow and out of shape, but I keep my word. Aah!" Dareth screams as Mr. E attacks

Thankfully Karlof arrives and hits Mr. E before he could hit Dareth "Back in Metalonia, it is not polite to scare weak man"

"Karlof?" Nya questions

Shade and Griffin arrive as well and attack

"The Elemental Masters" Lloyd smiles

Skylor arrives in a garbage truck "Get in"

"Skylor" Lloyd says as he gets in

"How did you know?" Nya asks

"Let's just say we've had our ear to the ground" Skylor replies

Lloyd holds his hand out and helps Aria in as everyone else jumps onto the garbage truck.

Nya placed a hand on Lloyd shoulder "You thought we were alone in this. We have friends"

They drove away.
