Aria stood in front of her troops giving instructions "and then-"

"Princess Aria" Hanabusa appears beside her

"what?" Aria turns to him

"I apologize for interrupting, but the ninja went missing" Hanabusa reports

Aria's eyes widened and she looked at the troops "Everyone's dismissed, Kaname will lead you into further details later"

Aria walks out of the room with Hanabusa following.

"What are you going to do princess?" Hanabusa asks

"Find them" Aria replies going into her room

"Find them?" Hanabusa questions surprised "but my lady we're in the middle of preparations"

"And we can't act until the princess is dead anyway" Aria tells him "so off I go"

Aria grabs a couple things and leaves her room with Hanabusa following. She heads up to the tower.

"princess I beg you to rethink this" Hanabusa says "I don't think now is the right time to act while we are not prepared"

"Well speed things up then" Aria orders "where were they last scene?"

"Near Primeval's Eye" Hanabusa replies

"Primeval's Eye!" Aria shouts "that's way too close to our borders, no wonder they got lost"

"Princess Kaname's going to yell at me for letting you go again" Hanabusa whines "you're always getting me in trouble"

"Heh and here you are" Aria laughs "you're still my personal attendant so quite complaining"

"You ran off a lot when you were younger too" Hanabusa complains

"then you should be used to it" Aria replies as she walks outside

Aria turns into a dragon and flies off.

"Oh not again" Hanabusa whines

As Aria flies along the forest she lands in front of a temple where she sensed Lloyd's green energy.

"found you" Aria says as she turns back into her human form "and apparently" she feels the power of the Oni mask "you found it"

She heads inside the Oni Temple and jump on pillars before making it to the other side. She entered the end of the cave that had a narrow path leading to a circular platform with a box containing the mask, at which Lloyd and Harumi stood in front of.

Harumi gasps "The Mask of Hatred" She strides over to the mask tries to grab it but fails "Only someone with Oni blood can take the mask"

Lloyd tries to pull it out but it doesn't come out.

"What?" Harumi says confused

"It moves for me but it won't come out" Lloyd tells her

"That's because you're not a real Oni greenie" Aria says walking in

"You- you're here" Lloyd turns toward her

"Of course" Aria taps her nose "I heard you went missing and went out to find you, their's nothing my dragon sense can't find"

"That's a bit creepy but reassuring that someone can find us nonetheless" Lloyd admits

"So like I was saying" Aria walks up to them "Lloydie you can't pull out the mask, cause you're not a pureblooded oni"

"But you are" Lloyd says "meaning you can pull out the mask"

"of course I can" Aria says "cause it's mine, the Oni Masks were created by my father and used as weapons of war"

Aria walks up and pulls the Oni Mask out easily.

"So" Aria turns and faces the two of them "who should I give this to? My ex-boyfriend, or my partner"

"You're partner?" Lloyd questions

"Well, Harumi" Aria smiles "remind us how exactly you knew Lloyd was part Oni"

"well uh.. he's related to the First Spinjitzu Master. He was an Oni" Harumi replies

"I never told you that. Aria, Jay and I were alone when Mistaké told us the story. You were never there" Lloyd says suspiciously

"Then I must've heard it from Jay" Harumi tries to explain

Aria laughs "come on what's the point of hiding it anymore with such a ridiculous lie, Quiet One if you want to perform the ritual then we should go now"

"You're the quiet one" Lloyd looks at Harumi "You only wanted me to get the mask you couldn't find"

"I didn't need you to find the mask. It would've already been mine had your idiot friends not stolen Wu from us" Harumi grins evily

"I thought little Wu was quite cute" Aria says

Lloyd stares disbelievingly at her "The baby is Master Wu?"

"Yeah and for some weird reason he wouldn't stop crying for anyone else but me" Aria tells him "very strange"

Harumi walks up to Lloyd as he moves away "I knew to keep you close. Not everything goes to plan"

"Aria give me the mask" Lloyd holds his hand out "I can't let you bring my father back. Not like that, remember you told me you couldn't"

"Well duh" Aria says jumping on top of the box "I'm not bringing him back" she holds the mask up "I'm gonna destroy it"

"You double crossed us!" Harumi shouts

"I am the Dark Lord after all" Aria says

Harumi jumps up to grab the mask but Aria moves out of the way.

"Aria!" Lloyd shouts

Aria throws him the mask and he catches it.

"Well, then if you won't give it to me..." Harumi spins on her right leg and back kicks him with the left. Knocking Lloyd to the ground and the mask out of his hands "Then I will take it!"

Aria shot a dark energy ball that hit Harumi in the gut sending her back. Lloyd lunges at Harumi and pins her to the ground.

"I never asked to be a princess" Harumi presses Lloyd onto his back "Just as I never asked to be an orphan, but you gifted me that!"

Lloyd throws her onto her back "How did I do that?"

"The Great Devourer. It was too strong" Harumi pushes Lloyd slowly onto his back "Too big for you and your friends" she laughs softly "Oh, Lloyd. You aren't so naive to think no one got hurt that day, did you?" Lloyd gets up, throwing her onto the ground. She gets up, slowly with her fist raised "It wasn't until the almighty Lord Garmadon saved the day! But he couldn't save my family" She looks sadly at the ground "It was too late. I died that day, too!"

Lloyd shook his head angrily "Feeding the poor, acting scared? It was all an act?"

"Ah, yes. The damsel in distress. You Ninja really are from another time" Harumi laughs

"The Emperor and Empress?" Lloyd questions

"They were never my parents! To protect Ninjago, I had to repress those feelings. I had to wear a mask until the time came for me to take control. I had to be smarter, stronger" Harumi responds "so luckily, I had help getting rid of them"

"Yeah you were right on that Lloyd" Aria comments "I shapeshifted into Hutchins"

"not now Aria" Lloyd faces Harumi "You were never protecting Ninjago. You were only after revenge"

"Tell me, Lloyd, how many times has Ninjago almost fallen on your watch? How many times have you Ninja failed and let others pay the price? You're not our protectors. You're just a bunch of little kids playing dress up. Ninjago is my home too. And with your father by my side, we can return it to glory. Give it the leader it truly des—" Harumi goes after the mask but Aria grabs it.

"No!" Harumi shouts

Aria throws the mask off the cliff and aims her energy beam at it. Harumi quickly jumps off the ledge, she grabs the mask before grabbing the ledge and pulling herself up.

"Dang it Lloyd you had one job!" Aria shouts at him

Harumi ran out of the cave destroying it in the process

"If we don't get out now we're going to be buried alive!" Lloyd shouts

"then get on" Aria says

Lloyd looks at her "get on wha-"

Aria transforms into a dragon.

"Oh.. on you" Lloyd says before climbing onto her back

Aria roars and it creates a hole in the top in which she flies towards. After they finally made it out Aria heads towards where the other ninja were. Meanwhile, Harumi arrives where the Ninja and Sons of Garmadon are.

"The Quiet One has the mask. We have all three!" Killow shouts and The Sons of Garmadon cheer.

Harumi smirks "Now I believe we have a ceremony to attend to. Take the ship."

"Not so fast" Kai says and the Ninja surround them.

Jay laughs "Haha. Looks like we have the upper—"

More Sons of Garmadon show up and surround them.

"Oh, now isn't this a lovely pickle?" Ultra Violet smiles evilly

Kai steps forward "This can end one of two ways: either you hand the masks over peacefully—"

"I don't even have to know the rest of the choices. I like that one." Jay interrupts

"Or what?" Harumi asks

"Or we'll have to get all Ninja up on ya" Kai replies

Harumi looks confused "What does that even mean?"

Kai got frustrated "I don't know ok! I was improvising. Usually Aria or Lloyd does the talking. But you switched sides and he isn't here. B—Where's Lloyd!?"

Aria appears in the sky and roars, Lloyd was holding onto her fearing for his life, she was different then riding his dragon.

Cole points up "There he is"

Aria turns into her human form and they fall, the Ninja catch them.

"Thanks boys" Aria says

Lloyd stands up "You guys, Rumi is the Quiet One

"We kind of got that much" Kai says

The monster Crabby from the lake attacked.

"We have to get you out of here, Quiet One" Ultra Violet says

They leave on the Bounty, then Zane freezes Crabby.

"Get me close" Lloyd commands

"I'm on it. Zane, I need an assist" Nya and Zane use their powers to make a path of ice to the Bounty.

Lloyd then Spinjitzu's up the path to land on the anchor of the ship. He climbed up and was immediately grabbed by Killow and they put vengestone cuffs on him so he couldn't use his powers.

"Lloyd!" Aria shouts and turns into a dragon

"Aria don't!" Cole shouts

Harumi holds a knife to Lloyd's throat "Stand down or you can say goodbye to your sweetheart"

Aria landed on the bounty and turned back to her human form.

"Hey!" Aria shouts "we broke up"

"and yet here you are" Harumi laughs

Aria growls as Ultra Violet walked over and put vengestone cuffs on her as well. They sat the two down next to each other and went to celebrate.

"So great and powerful Dark Lord" Lloyd starts off sarcastic before looking serous "why'd you come after me"

"..Lloyd I didn't break up with you cause I didn't love you" Aria tells him "I broke up with you cause we're on different sides"

"But we can work through that" Lloyd argues "like we have been"

"I killed the Emperor and Empress but exploding the castle for my own selfish plans" Aria tells him "If we were dating I wouldn't have been able to do that" she looks at him "cause I put you in danger, and my heart wouldn't have been able to take it"

"And us not dating made it better?" Lloyd asks

"...I thought hating you and being your enemy would be better" Aria admits "instead of fighting someone I love"

Lloyd puts his forehead against hers "I can live with us being on different sides, but I'll always try to make you do what's right, because I love you"

"You fell in love with Harumi though didn't you?" Aria asks

"I did.. cause I felt like I had to have someone to fill the void in my heart" Lloyd looks into her eyes "after it was broken, but it was missing someone else, not Harumi"

"I'm sorry" Aria says softly

"It's ok" Lloyd kisses her forehead "cause I still love you, and we're gonna get through this, together"
