The Ninja land the Bounty in Hollow's Bluff.

"Is this where we'll be living?" Harumi asks

"Just until we know you're safe" Lloyd replies

"Don't you have a headquarters?" Harumi questions

"It's too in-the-open. The Sons of Garmadon will be looking for you. We'll need to keep moving" Lloyd tells her before turning to Aria with an annoyed look "don't you have somewhere to be princess?"

"Indeed I do" Aria says as she stands up "I'm sending our coordinates to my guards now so they can fetch me"

"Fetch" Lloyd scoffs "you act like they're your dogs"

"Of course they're not" Aria replies smugly "I have wolves"

"You're such a smartass" Lloyd says annoyed

"Ok Lloyd" Kai says walking over "back down, we can't do anything against her right now, not until we know for sure she's the one responsible"

Kaname and Hanabusa suddenly appear.

"Princess Aria" Hanabusa says turning to her "we have arrived"

"Great" Aria pats his head "good job boy" she gives Lloyd a smug look

"treating him like a dog" Lloyd mutters

Hanabusa smiles happily "thank you"

"and he's enjoying it" Nya sweatdrops

"Let's get going you two" Kaname says "in result of these past events we have a lot of work to do"

"Awww" Aria whines "why can't daddy handle it, I wanna go play"

"As the Princess of the Shadowlands it is your job to handle these affairs, you were after all the one present for the events" Kaname smiles "right your highness"

"dang it" Aria says before turning to Cole "take care cousin" she looks at Lloyd and smirks "don't die before our final battle greenie"

"yeah as if" Lloyd rolls his eyes

Aria disappears with her guards, they head back to her kingdom.

"I'm home!" Aria shouts happily as she enters the throne room

"And?" Overlord looks up from his documents "did you do it?"

"uh well" Aria looks away "the emperor and empress are dead.."

Overlord stares at her "what went wrong?"

"...the princess is alive" Aria looks down in defeat

"Princess" Overlord sighs "you were supposed to kill all of them"

"I tried" Aria crosses her arms "the stupid green ninja saved her" she looks at him "but I killed the Emperor and Empress, isn't that enough?"

"No, the treaty states that we take over if the entire royal family is dead" Overlord tells her "until the princess is dead you cannot claim Ninjago"

"Greaaaaat" Aria turns around "so all I gotta do is kill a princess heavily guarded by 6 ninja and the sons of Garmadon"

"the Sons of Garmadon?" Overlord questions

Aria turns to face him again "Mhm, it's obvious the princess was the one who planned for them to attack the day I exploded the palace, I was the one in contact with the Quiet One in order for them to even take the Oni Mask, she was prepared to live that day, so it's gotta be her"

"What do you plan to do?" Overlord asks

"duh, I'm not letting her bring back Garmadon" Aria answers "their's only one Dark Lord around here and that's me"

"Hey" Overlord says annoyed

"still me dad" Aria smirks "you lost your power"

"Regardless, you won't be able to kill her that easily you know" Overlord tells her

"I know" Aria laughs "that's why I'm gonna expose her"

Aria walks into Mistake's tea shop and is about to call for her when she hears the ninja.

"Please. We need to know" Lloyd says

"It is a long tale. Do you have the time?" Mistake questions

Lloyd thought for a moment "Cole and Zane, go to the police with the Tea of Truth and find out who's giving the orders. Jay and I will stay here to learn more"

Aria hides when Cole and Zane run past her with the tea.

"Come, my childs. To know the tale, you must drink the tea" Mistake tells Lloyd and Jay

"Great and I'll join" Aria walks into the room

"Aria" Lloyd looks at her

Mistake looks surprised

"that shouldn't be a problem, right Mistake?" Aria asks

"of course not" Mistake tells her

Mistake gives Aria, Lloyd, and Jay some tea

"It's been awhile since I've heard the tale" Aria says "it'll be good to dust up on my family history"

"Uh, what's that supposed to mean?" Jay asks

"drink up" Mistake says

Jay looks at Lloyd "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Just drink the tea Jay" Lloyd sighs

"Aah!" Jay smiles "Thank you for the tea. You were right, it really calmed my nerves. I feel so.." he drinks more "..warm and fuzzy"

"...you're forever going to be like this aren't you" Aria questions before drinking her tea

"Always will be Ari" Jay laughs

Lloyd looks at Jay questioning while Aria looks at him surprised.

"What?" Jay looks at them confused "what'd I say?"

"You called her Ari" Lloyd says "as in a nickname"

"Uh yeah, cause we grew up together for a bit.." Jay gasps "I remember that now, how come I didn't before?"

"Good. Then the Tea of Enlightenment is working" Mistake says "and it'll help you see the tale, the original tale, The Tale of the Oni and the Dragon"

"What are we supposed to see?" Lloyd asks

Mistake starts the tale "See...the beginning. Long before time had a name, there was the Realm of the Oni and the Dragon"

"One of the sixteen realms?" Lloyd questions

"It wasn't just one of them Lloyd, it was the first" Aria tells him "ever in existence"

Mistake continues "The Dragon had the power to create. The Oni had the power to destroy. Their war was never ending. But a child arrived, born of both worlds. The child understood the power of both. Without one, you could not have the other. But when the Oni and the Dragon fought over which side the child should choose, the child abandoned their world to start a new one called Ninjago"

"Are you telling me the child born from both worlds is the First Spinjitzu Master?" Lloyd asks

"Hey, hey! You're related" Jay gasps "That means you're part Oni and Dragon too!"

Aria facepalms "Jay please"

"Like I said, truth can be dangerous" Mistake says "After the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, he fathered two sons of his own. He thought he could escape the war. He saw the evil of the Oni was waiting to be unleashed in one of his sons, Lord Garmadon! It was up to Master Wu to control his brother's undying thirst to destroy, and with some help—"

"Hey! Haha! That's us!" Jay laughs

"Did you give him tea or drugs, Mistake?" Aria asks

"Lord Garmadon was destroyed by the most powerful force of all: the love of his own son. But in his absence, a void was created. A new darkness has arisen" Mistake continues

"The Sons of Garmadon" Lloyd says

"No" Misatake objects and points to Aria "the girl in our presence"

"Hi" Aria waves sarcastically "I don't think you all remember, I'm the Dark Lord, daughter of the former Overlord"

"We got it" Lloyd rolls his eyes

"The three Oni Masks are relics from the first realm, and they wield tremendous power. The power to deceive. The power of vengeance. The power to hate" Mistake recites

"What happens when they're united? Lloyd asks

"You cannot let that happen" Mistake replies

"Tell me...what happens when the three masks are united?" Lloyd repeats

"They will have the power to resurrect your father" Aria tells him "but it will not be the recent one, it will be Lord Garmadon, the one with the presence of my father's powers, a dark carnation"

"I can't let that happen" Lloyd stands up

"and neither can I" Aria stands up "as the current Dark Lord I cannot let another come back into existence, that will overset the balance and it could risk my powers dissappearing"

"Then as much as I hate it" Lloyd holds his hand out to her "it looks like we'll be working together again"

"For now" Aria takes his hand "but remember Lloydie, I'm on no ones side"

Aria lets go of his hand and walks out the door.

"I have not finished the story" Mistake says "a part that has been mistaken through history"

Lloyd looks at her

"It has been told to the current young lord that dragon-oni were only produced by a certain family.. but that is not true. For the truth is, their was another child born of both worlds, who grew up with the other" Mistake tells them "but unlike the first spinjitsu master, he fell in love with an Oni girl. He stayed in his own world, and chose the Oni over the dragons"

"The Overlord" Lloyd says "Aria's father"

"Yes" Mistake nods "after learning of the new realm, the Oni set out to conquer it, with the Overlord leading the charge, leaving his wife behind"

"so that's how the Overlord came to Ninjago" Lloyd says "then how was Aria born here in Ninjago, if her mother was still in the other realm"

"After not returning, Layla headed to the new realm to find her husband Svern" Mistake explains

"Svern?" Lloyd questions "Is that the Overlord's real name?"

"Indeed" Mistake confirms "Since the death of her father, Princess Aria is the only Dragon Oni alive"

"What about me?" Lloyd asks "Aren't I part Dragon-Oni?"

"Yes but you are not truly a Dragon Oni" Mistake tells him "You do not have the power to turn into a dragon like her, in retrospect, if you two were to battle.. she would surely be the victor"

Lloyd's eyes widen "so.. no matter what I'd do.. I'd loose"

"yes" Mistake tells him "it is best we deal with the matter at hand, but that is still a future we should all worry about
