Present Master Wu walks over to the three, back to normal "Failure is often temporary, Kai. It can be corrected. And with effort, it can even be reversed"

"Master Wu" Kai says surprised "You're..."

Aria slowly walks away from the group, she makes her way around to the Past elemental masters and goes over to Past Layla.

"So.. mom" Aria says "I uh.."

"You don't have to say anything" Layla smiles sadly "I could tell by the look in your eyes the moment you knew who I was.. I'm not there for you.. am I?"

"No.. you're dead" Aria looks down

"I thought so" Layla sighs "without the time blades the sanctuary won't work and I wouldn't have gotten reincarnated"

"So that's why dad says the time blades are so important to get" Aria says

"yes, the sanctuary is used by us to be reincarnated or reborn" Layla tells her "I am on my 3rd reincarnation, meaning I've died twice and since you appear to be a reincarnation.. the current you will also die in the future, and then be reborn into you"

"...but if I'm a reincarnation how did you give birth to me?" Aria asks

Layla smiles "Well that would only happen if I was still alive when you die, then you would be reborn, after me and your father.. well.. you know.."

"17" Aria answers

"..how are you still short.. I mean you're taller then my 8 year old but still" Layla questions

"Hey" Aria looks annoyed

Layla chuckles then looks sad "I know you can't tell me what happens but.." she bends down and hugs her "I'm so sorry.. you've had to grow up without me"

Aria's eyes fill with tears and she hugs her mother back before some tears fall.

"You've grown up nicely my dear" Layla rubs her head "I'm so proud of you"

As Kai, Nya, and Wu hold the Reversal Time Blade, Nya and Master Wu let go, causing the recent events to reverse until the point of when Kai was about to miss Acronix with the Fusion Dragon. As Acronix is about to duck with the Iron Doom, Kai instead avoids the Iron Doom and goes to the ground to pick up Nya and Master Wu as Aria slams onto the Iron Doom.

"That wasn't planned but nice job Aria!" Kai shouts

"We must make sure the future is not affected" Wu says before tossing the past Reversal Time Blade to his younger self

"Mother" Aria looks at Layla "the time blade"

"I will get it" Layla tells her "This is the past time blade, you need the ones from the present"

"The Reversal Blade. But how?" Past Wu questions

"Who knows? But it's dangerous to keep" Past Garmadon replies "The Boiling Sea"

"they're gonna destroy it!" Aria panics

"they won't" Layla smirks "cause I'm gonna take it"

Aria gasps "so that's why you're here"

"honestly darling I'm married to the Dark Lord and I'm an Oni" Layla chuckles "did you think I was a good guy? I only do what benefits me and my family, so if I have to work with the elemental masters to get what I want then so be it, but in the end it'll all for me"

"...so that's where I get that from" Aria sweatdrops

Kai, Nya, Master Wu and the Fusion Dragon follows the Iron Doom into the time vortex.

"You need to go before it closes" Layla tells her

"Right.." Aria hugs her "bye mom"

Aria quickly turns into a dragon and passes through the vortex as it closes behind her. After a bit she catches up to the Iron Doom and boards it.

Just before Krux and Acronix finish off Kai and Nya, Master Wu quickly yells to them "No!" as Aria runs into the room.

"Ha! There is nothing you can do" Acronix says

"Except what must be done" Wu removes the Reversal Blade

"You old fool!" Aria shouts

The Iron Doom begins to spin out of control. As Master Wu jumps back into the cockpit, he catches Kai and Nya before they fall out of the window.

"How'd you do that?" Nya questions

"Why did you do that?" Kai asks

"You will know when you arrive" Wu replies, letting them go

Kai and Nya catch the edge of the window.

"Master, what are you doing?!" Nya shouts

"Putting off until tomorrow what cannot be done today" Wu throws the Reversal Blade at them, making them fall into the present

"Wow you just threw the only think linking us to time out into the present" Aria says "what the hell!"

"Aria turn into a dragon and fly out now" Wu instructs "you can still make it to the present"

"huh.. you want me to return to the present?" Aria asks

"Well.. someone needs to look after my nephew" Wu smiles to her "hurry"

"...right.. then sorry about this" Aria rips the other time blade out before jumping out into the vortex

Wu sighs "take care of them"

Aria arrives in the present and suddenly turns into her human form while still in the sky.

"..huh" Aria looks surprised, she looks down at the ground "AHHH"

Aria closes her eyes as she got closer to the ground, she felt herself get caught bridal style in someone's arms. She opens her eyes to see Lloyd staring down at her.

"Lloydie!" Aria hugs him

"dummy did you run out of power?" Lloyd asks "if we weren't still here you would've fallen to your death"

Aria looks around to see the ninja along with the Ray and Maya. She sees Kai holding the reversal time blade.

"oh.. well I'm glad you were still here" Aria smiles

"Is that Aria?" Maya whispers to Ray

"I think so" Ray whispers back "she's a bit young though to be that Aria"

"Mom dad" Nya looks at them "what's wrong?"

"Nothing nothing" the two say

"Lloydie you can let me down now" Aria says

"right" Lloyd blushes and puts her down on her feet

"Wait. What happened to Master Wu?" Cole asks

"Yeah Aria where is he?" Nya asks

"Well.." Aria looks down "He's still on the Iron Doom. He stayed aboard to deal with Krux and Acronix.." she looks up at Lloyd "I'm sorry Lloyd"

Lloyd looks devastated "i-it's not your fault.."

"So we don't have a Master anymore?" Cole asks sadly

"Yes we do" Jay declares looking at Lloyd "You, Lloyd. It has to be you."

Lloyd looks uncertain "But..."

"Master Lloyd" Kai gives Lloyd the Reversal Time Blade

"Master Lloyd..." Lloyd looks down at the Time Blade before looking at the ninja "Everyone, listen up. First, we get rid of this. It's too powerful. Then, it'll take all our energy and we will not rest until we know where is Wu"

The ninja all cheer and Aria sighs.

"I know this isn't the best situation for us" Lloyd says putting his hand on his shoulder "but it'll work out"

"Mhm" Aria hugs him "I'll see you later"

Aria smiles to him before running off.

"Alright now to.." Lloyd's eyes widen as he looks at his hand

"What's wrong?" Jay asks

"The Time Blade" Lloyd looks around "Where'd it go?!"

"Did you drop it?" Nya asks looking around

"I don't know" Lloyd says confused "I didn't even notice it go missing, i've been a master for 2 minutes and I already messed up"

"No Lloyd you didn't" Cole says looking off "Cause I know exactly who took it"

The pedestals glow as the time blades were set into place.

"It is complete" Overlord says

The sanctuary comes to life, all the plants grow rapidly and the lake in the middle glows.

"Wow, so pretty" Aria smiles

"I am proud of you my daughter" Overlord looks at her "you have completed every task I have given you and now because of you, we are able to cross over, into Ninjago City"
