Aria is awoken from her sleep by the sound of her door opening. She whines and turns over.

"Hanabusa I'm tired, let me sleep" she mutters

"Sorry to disappoint you child, but i'm not your guard"

Aria's eyes widen and she sits up, there stood her father in his human form.

"d-daddy!" she shouts surprised

"Did you forget we have second lives?" the overlord asks "we turn into boring humans but I suppose it's better then nothing"

"Dad!" Aria jumps out of bed, runs over and hugs him

"Now princess, if i was dead would I still have been able to talk to you in your mind?" the Overlord questions looking down at her

"...damn it dad don't scare me!" Aria slaps him "where have you been!"

"Well I survived the final battle and ended up digital.. but anyway I finally died and I'm human now" he sighs "it sucks"

"hahaha" Aria laughs

"you disrespectful daughter" the Overlord looks at her annoyed "what are you doing slacking off" he flicks her forehead "you should be taking over Ninjago"

"hey" Aria whines "I'm working on it"

"mhm" he crosses his arms "you're dating the green ninja"

"shush" Aria walks over to her dresser and brushes her hair

"Did you really fall in love with him?" the Overlord asks looking threatening

"o-of course not daddy" Aria stutters facing him "it's.. part of the plan!"

"hm?" the Overlord looks interested before laughing "how clever of my little girl, the best way to bring him down is to hit him where it hurts.. in the heart!"

Aria laughs "of course, daddy how could you think I fell in love with that guy" she tightens her hold on her brush "it's only a matter of time, i'll make him so in love with me that he'll completely break"

"that's my girl" the Overlord ruffles her hair "now all that's left is for you to unlock your true potential, then you'll be unstoppable"

Aria sits on her chair "and just how am I supposed to do that?"

"Well.. it's different for everyone" the Overlord smiles "you'll get it eventually"

"thanks dad" Aria smiles slightly

"Alright, i'm off to do king stuff, you be evil princess" the Overlord walks out

Once the door closes Aria sighs and looks at herself in the mirror.

"evil plan my ass" Aria looks at a picture she has of her and Lloyd "..what am I supposed to do?"

Aria picks up her phone and looks at it, Lloyd was calling her.

Aria looked around before answering "Hello"

"Hey, I'm so sorry about being gone for so long" Lloyd says

"It's fine, don't worry" Aria sits on her bed "I know you said your job keeps you busy"

"thanks for being so understanding" she could hear the happiness in Lloyd's voice "so I'm free today, do you wanna go get lunch?"

"Uh.." Aria looks at her itinerary for the day, everything she had to do was responsibilities she had to do as ruler but now her dad's taking over again "sounds good, i'm free"

"great" Lloyd says excitedly "we'll meet at the park first in... about an hour, sound good?"

"yep, perfect" Aria smiles

"Great, see you soon" Lloyd hangs up

Aria puts her phone down before going to her closet. Great, now she had to actually get dressed today. After changing her clothes she looks at herself in the mirror.

"Perfec- wait" Aria looks closer in the mirror "My hair!" she runs her hand through her hair and it turns back to blonde "that would've been a mistake"

Aria does her hair before grabbing her purse.

"Now i'm ready" Aria smiles

She goes downstairs and is about to open the door when she heard her father's voice.

"And where are you going princess?"

Aria turns and faces him "I am going to see my boyfriend" she puts her hands on her hips "is that a problem daddy?"

"No that's fine" the Overlord sighs "it just explains why you're so well dressed, you usually wear less"

"hey!" Aria shouts annoyed

"I'm just saying" he laughs "go, the green ninja won't wait forever, just remember not to give yourself away"

"I know, that's why I changed my hair" Aria says

"So as far as he knows the Dark Lord Aria has silver hair and his sweet civilian girlfriend Aria has blonde hair?" the Overlord questions

"yep" Aria smiles happily

"alright, i'll take care of the kingdom" he pats her head "go"

"bye bye" Aria waves to him before leaving

"Come on guys" Lloyd complains "we have no missions"

"You heard what Sensei said Lloyd, we have to stay vigilant" Kai says "you have to stay here like the rest of us"

"but I have plans" Lloyd argues

"what kind of plans?" Zane asks

"I-it's private" Lloyd blushes

"Ooooo" Jay looks interested now "private? why are you blushing?" he gasps "is it a girl?!"

"w-what no" Lloyd looks away

"Heh, look who's growing up" Cole pats him on the back "liking a girl is normal at your age kid, so spill it, what are you going to do?"

"...I have a date with my girlfriend" Lloyd replies

"Oooooooo girlfriend" Jay teases

"Hey I met her awhile ago" Lloyd says "i haven't gotten to see her since before the tournament started"

"that long?!" Kai shouts "then why are you still here, get out of here before you're dumped!"

"r-right, thanks guys" Lloyd runs out

Lloyd makes it to the park and looks around. He felt a tap on his shoulder, he turns around to see his girlfriend.

"You're late" she says

"Sorry" Lloyd chuckles "my brother's were questioning me"

"You're the one that dragged me out here" Aria crosses her arms

"sorry sorry" Lloyd puts his arms around her waist "I love you"

"I love you too" Aria giggles and puts her arms around his neck

Lloyd leans in and kisses her, she kisses back. The ninja were creepily spying on them from the other side of the park.

"The kid really does have a girlfriend" Jay looks surprised

"She's pretty too" Kai adds

"He wasn't lying then" Zane says before looking at Cole "is everything alright?"

The ninja all look at Cole who was staring at the two looking deeply shocked.

"Cole what's wrong?" Kai asks

"yeah you look kinda tense there bud" Jay says

Cole looks at them "I might be mistaken.. but I think that's my cousin Aria"

"What?!" the ninja shout

"Your cousin Aria, as in the Overlord's daughter aka the current Dark Lord we just dealt with?!" Kai asks

"No no, you've got to be mistaken" Jay points at her "Lloyd's girlfriend has blonde hair, we just saw Aria about a month ago, she had silver hair"

"But my cousin was born with blonde hair" Cole argues "Aria's a blonde, remember when you all first met her after we defeated the overlord, she had blonde hair then too"

All the ninja all thought for a minute before all looking shocked as well.

"No way" Kai says in disbelief

"t-then.." Jay looks back at the two

"that means.." Zane looks too

Cole nods "Lloyd's dating his greatest enemy, and he doesn't even realize it"
