"Mumbooooo!!!" Grian shouted from the kitchen.
Mumbo slowly woke up and looked at the clock in his room.
'2 am??? Are you kidding me?!' He thought to himself.
"Grian, what do you need?" Mumbo had been grumpy from being woken up. He was still tired, which was fair considering the hour it was.
"Um... I'm having troubles figuring this out! Come to the kitchen!"
He slowly walked into the kitchen, seeing a mess of flour and eggs everywhere.
"Grian, what have you been doing??"
"Trying to bake..."
"Come on love, let's clean this up, I'll help you, and then will you come back to bed with me?"
"Alright." He agreed.
The two cleaned up all the flour and eggs; Mumbo smashed one on Grian's head.
"That's for waking me up at 2 in the morning to help clean up flour." He laughed, and Grian did too.
"Okay... now it says 3 cups of flour and two eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of oil...." Grian started.
"And 2 teaspoons of vanilla."
They mixed all the ingredients together, poured the batter into a cupcake tray, and put them in the oven.
Finally, a half hour later, the cupcakes were done.
"Now we can go back to bed. What made you wanna bake at 2 in the morning anyways??"
"I don't know.. suddenly woke up and felt like I had a lot of energy. I'm really tired now though..."
Mumbo smiled. "Good."
"I don't think I can walk to bed... will you carry me?"
"Goodness, Grian, you're so needy!"
"You love it, don't deny it."
"Yeah, you're right. C'mon." He picked Grian up and carried him to his bed.
The two snuggled up close and went to sleep for the night.

The next morning, Grian woke up at 11, and Mumbo wasn't there. "Mumbo?"
"In the kitchen, love!"
Grian got up quickly and ran to the kitchen. "What are you doing?"
"Decorating the cupcakes."
Grian smiled. There was one for every Hermit. "I thought we could bring them to everyone!" Mumbo grinned.
"That sounds wonderful! I hope everyone will like them..."
"Of course they will!"
They finished decorating the cupcakes together and brought them around to the hermits.
Stress, Tango, Beef, Keralis, Bdubs, Impulse, TFC, Iskall... everyone got one. (I know I missed hermits I can't think of all of them off the top of my head haha)
Mumbo gave Grian one that looked exactly like him. Of course that was the point of the cupcakes, but Mumbo hadn't missed a single detail on Grian's.
The two were standing in the kitchen back at Mumbo's eating their cupcakes. Grian took some of the leftover pink icing from Stress's cupcake and put it on Mumbo's nose and started laughing.
"Hey, what's that for?!" Mumbo chuckled.
Grian licked it off his nose. "Better?" He winked.
Mumbo blushed. "Th-that's not fair." He smeared some icing on Grian's lips and kissed him softly.
Grian jumped up on the counter behind him while Mumbo kept kissing him, deeper and sloppier.
Mumbo cut off the kiss and laid his head on Grian's shoulder, falling more in love with him than ever before.
"I love you so much Mumby~!"
"And I love you more than the world Gri." Mumbo smiled and looked up into Grian's eyes, getting lost so quickly.

I really hope you enjoyed this chapter! I know it was a bit shorter. I haven't been feeling well the past couple days, I've kinda got a cold. And I'm now just going into a lockdown and no one will actually be in school for the next little while which sucks. I hate doing it online. But, I can't do anything about it. I'm gonna try and write a couple more chapters before Christmas, then write a Christmas and New Years special, then maybe take a break for a while.
