《Grumbo (Grian x Mumbo) Fanfic》Ch 3

Grian couldn't figure out what had gone wrong with him. Why couldn't he stop thinking about Mumbo?
He was soon able to fall asleep, finally.
Mumbo finally did as well.
{Grian's dream}
"Grian? You okay?"
He felt an arm on his shoulder. Grian had been crying, and looked up to see Mumbo. He wiped his eyes of his tears.
"Y-yeah.. I'm fine..." he sniffled.
"You sure? Nothing's wrong?"
"N-no..." he was silent for a minute, and Mumbo began to walk away. "Mu-Mumbo... please stay..."
Grian grabbed Mumbo by the hand, and accidentally pulled him closer. Their faces were just centimeters from each other's faces.
"M-Mumbo..."
"Grian, I need to tell you something..."
Grian pulled Mumbo closer and kissed him softly on the lips. "M-Mumbo I..."
Grian woke up and sat up in his bed, clutching his arms to his chest as if he'd just been hugging someone...
{Mumbo's dream}
'Dammit, Grian... why does he have to be so perfect at everything...?' the moustached man had been thinking aloud as he heard an all too familiar sound of rockets and a perfect landing.
Grian.
Mumbo smiled to himself and went out to see the blond haired boy; he'd seemed excited about something.
"Hi Mumbo! Can we talk for a minute?"
"Yeah, sure!" Mumbo smiled at Grian as the two walked inside Mumbo's base.
"Um... Mumbo... I- uh... I needed to tell you something...
And I don't want you to hate me...
Or like- freak out or something...
Thing is... I like-"
Mumbo woke up and sat in his bed. He'd had this dream a few times before; normally it would only get to the point where Grian would come over with something exciting. Mumbo now realized what it was, but remembered it had only been a dream.

A dream he wished were real...
{Back with Grian}
Grian heard a knock on his door. It had been a bit early in the morning, but it wasn't bad. Either that or he'd slept in a bit.
Grian went to open his door, and it was Scar.
"Hey Grian! Ready to work on that building?"
Grian had completely forgotten about the fact that he had planned on building this year's town hall again with Scar and Bdubs, as well as now Keralis and Doc.
"Er- yeah just give me a few minutes. I'll meet you in our planned spot." Grian ran back inside to get ready to leave as quickly as he could. He grabbed his rockets, and flew over to the planned spot.
{With Mumbo}
Iskall flew over to Mumbo's base, where he had been working for a little bit already.
He started blushing when he saw Mumbo, and walked over to him. "Hey Mumbo~!"
"Oh, hey Iskall! How's it going?"
"I'm alright, I came over to see if you could talk for a minute?"
"Oh, yes of course just give me a minute." Mumbo packed up the blocks he'd been using in the nearby shulker box. "So, what's up?"
"Mumbo... I... er... I really like you... a lot... I have for a while... I hope that's not weird..."
Mumbo blushed. He had kind of like Iskall a bit for a while now as well, but nothing as serious as what he'd felt for Grian... But Mumbo thought he could give Iskall a shot.. I mean, what could go wrong?
"Iskall... I've actually liked you for a while now too..." he smiled at the swedish man.
Iskall leaned in closely and kissed Mumbo softly.
It was a short kiss, but it was sweet. They both smiled at each other.

"Hey, I heard some people were building the new town hall today? Wanna go watch with me?" Mumbo asked.
"I would love to!"
The two took off and landed in the shopping district near where the hall was being built.
Grian could see them from where he was. They were laughing, and smiling... and then Iskall leaned in and kissed Mumbo on the cheek. Mumbo blushed.
He couldn't hear anything that either one was saying, but he'd felt something inside when Iskall kissed Mumbo... jealousy..? Yes... that's what it was... but why?
He didn't like Mumbo... not like that... but he thought about it again... maybe he did have feelings for Mumbo... but Mumbo didn't seem interested in him...
He'd only thought about it in his dream... it would never be anything real... but that was okay, Mumbo seemed happy. And that's all that mattered to Grian.
"Grian, you alright?" Doc asked him.
He'd heard a lot of that lately... "Yeah, fine. Um... we should keep working.."
"Oh... we already finished; we wanted your opinion on the building.
'Was I in thought about Mumbo for that long..?' Grian thought to himself. He looked away from Iskall and Mumbo, and looked at the new town hall. His jaw dropped at it...
"Wow, guys, it looks amazing!" Grian smiled widely at the others.
"Thanks, Gri!"
"Sorry I didn't help much... I was lost in a thought..."
"Care to share?" Scar asked.
"Oh.. um, I was just thinking about... my cats. I actually need to go back and feed them... town hall looks great, sorry I'm rushing out so fast. Bye!" Grian took off to his base, and went inside. Though, instead of feeding his cats, he went upstairs to his bed and started to cry. He clutched an old tie of Mumbo's that he once borrowed for a costume close to his chest. He could smell the cologne that Mumbo wore... the tie was still so red... it wasn't faded at all... it still looked amazing. He put the tie around his neck. He didn't tie it... He just wanted to have it close to him any way that he could...
He wanted to feel like Mumbo was there... and that Mumbo was with him...
Someone came into his base. He didn't bother to look; Grian hadn't really wanted to see anyone at the moment.
"Grian? Are you okay?"
He felt the same arm on his shoulder that he'd felt in his dream... Mumbo...
"N-no Mumbo... I'm not okay..." Grian cried harder than he ever had before. He didn't want to pretend to be okay anymore. He couldn't take it anymore...
"Oh god, Grian, what's wrong?" Mumbo pulled Grian into a hug.
Hehehehehehe leaving this as a cliffhangerrrrrr

Tartarus Online
“The new is built upon the old. This is true across all realities, and even the gods themselves cannot escape this fact. Welcome to Tartarus Online, a VRMMOG (Vi-Mog) that offers far more than your usual roleplaying game fare. It is a whole new reality, with a completely level playing field. Gone are the choices of Classes and Archetypes, starting kits and pay-for features. In the bowels of Tartarus, only your effort matters. Once more I welcome you to Tartarus Online. We are going to have a Hells’ of a time.” These were the words that really caught Riley Culman’s attention while watching the promotional video the two guys in nicely tailored suits had brought to him. The two men had come with an invitation, and an offer; which sounded more like a deal with a devil, but was seriously on the up-and-up. Not that these guys from Astarte Entertainment had any reason to lie or be evasive on the subject, given just how massive a corporation Astarte is. Beta Test Tartarus Online. Explore a brand new world. Sleep away his chair-bound life while testing the latest in long term virtual reality immersion technology. And maybe, just maybe regain the mobility robbed from him by an accident as a child. It really sounded all too good to be true to Riley, thus the feeling of making a deal with a devil. But it was what he wanted, more than anything. Welcome to Tartarus Online indeed. Even if the Hells’ are only a step away. [I will also be hosting this story on Scribble Hub, thank you.]

The Demon King Absolutely Has No Attachments
Welcome to Akoras Online, where the power lies in your hands. This sandbox virtual reality MMO has gained a dedicated community, but it has a catch: those who die in battle have their stats reset. Spending all his time on the server to escape his shut-in life, Kas is the only long-time player with a death counter of 0. However, his social skills are also a big 0, so he's condemned as the cold-hearted “Demon King”. Now, the number of players who actually like him is also 0. (Which is fine. He enjoys the peace and quiet.) However, Kas' dreams of being left alone are banished over and over by challengers with various grievances against him. Among them is Gabriel, the celebrity "Hero" of Akoras, who has just as much time on his hands as Kas. Seriously, Gabriel tries to fight him a lot. It’s getting kind of tiring… Wait, this guy isn’t even in high school yet! The (not-so) idyllic trials of a Demon King and a Hero, with a raging faction war in the background. Now updates on Tuesdays, with the odd chapter in between.

In an ancient time of Kings and Queens, the Humans lived in harmony with the great beings that roamed the Earth. No kingdom was more peaceful than Cadmus, where the Cadmians existed beside the greatest creatures of all, the Dragons. The ruler of Cadmus, King Anguis, although very young, was much beloved. He never turned a deaf ear to the Humans or Dragons of Cadmus, and the kingdom flourished. Under the protection of the Dragons and their Empress, Queen Maeve, paired with Anguis' extraordinary ability to keep peace, the lands prospered and grew tenfold within a few short years. Cadmus and Draconia became the greatest kingdoms known to exist. But it was not meant to last. King Anguis, barely into adulthood, was murdered in the night. His death rocked Cadmus to its core, and the Cadmians mourned with the Draconians, grieving for their beloved King. As Prince Agni, Anguis' younger brother, assumed the throne, he declared war on the Dragons, announcing that the kingdom would be Cleansed. He enlisted a brutal army of elite hunter-assassins known as the Enforcers to carry out the Cleansing, and the kingdom was consumed by a shadow of tyranny. Cadmus became a war zone, and the land of Draconia was devastated. A group of survivors of the Cleansing, Dragons disguised in Human form, created a secret society known as the Occultus Draconem. As King Agni's power grew and the Enforcers became more brutal than ever, a rebellion stirred. The Occultus Draconem began stepping in to stop the Cleansings, fighting back for the freedom of the Dragons and swearing to bring peace back to Draconia and Cadmus.
