《Grumbo (Grian x Mumbo) Fanfic》Ch 2

Mumbo checked his messages to see that there was one from Grian.
Message:
You come to mine first.
He read the message and a smile spread on his face. He ran his fingers through his hair to try and fix it up a bit; he'd looked a mess as he had been working on his base the entire time, decorating and adding on to it. He hopped in a minecart and rode over to Grian's base as quickly as the cart could take him.
Grian saw the moustached man coming up, he smiled and waved at him. Mumbo waved back. The cart came to a stop and Mumbo got out quickly.
"Hey Gri- WOAH youre base is looking amazing!" his jaw dropped.
"Oh, thanks! I mean, it's just the started base. Nothing like what my real base is gonna be like." Grian smiled and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "How about we go inside and look around?"
Grian showed Mumbo around the inside of his cottage, blushing at every comment Mumbo had made on his decorating skills and the interior design.
They were soon done there, and got into carts to head over to Mumbo's base.
"So.. um, it's not exactly done quite yet, there's still some work to do on it."
"Mumbo it's looking great! It's so pretty!"
'not as pretty as you, Grian...' Mumbo thought to himself. He felt himself blushing, and tried not to think about Grian.
"You alright, Mumbo?" Grian looked at him.
"Huh? Y-yeah I'm fine! Um... let's look around the inside and back..." Mumbo took him around the inside, Grian complimented literally every single thing that he saw in the base.
"This looks nice!"
"Wow, this really brings the base together!"

"That's so perfect for your base!"
"This is amazing!"
Literally everything that he saw.
Grian thought everything in Mumbo's base was just perfect to him.
Grian soon left, needing to sleep before the next day.
The only thing was that he couldn't fall asleep... he couldn't stop thinking about Mumbo and how perfect Grian thought HE was...
Mumbo wasn't able to sleep either, he couldn't stop thinking about Grian... it wasn't so surprising to Mumbo though, as he had a big crush on Grian.. he's had it since Grian first joined the hermitcraft world.
Mumbo couldn't help it... the way Grian's hair fell on his face, his perfect brown eyes, his usual red sweater... he just couldn't help it.
Grian couldn't figure out what had gone wrong with him. Why couldn't he stop thinking about Mumbo?
XD why can't he stop thinking about Mumbo?
I think this one's shorter than the last one but I honestly don't know for sure
I hope it's still good and that you enjoyed it!

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.

Do not miss this book!" — Harmon Cooper, author of Fantasy Online and The Feedback Loop series.
