《Anakin x Padme (Two sides)》Look Who's Back.

I held Leia close in my arms as I walked away from the tie fighter reckage.
I put her down and ripped my white (now gray) blouse that I wore underneath my robes and wrapped it around her head and applied pressure to the gash to stop it bleeding.
That fight with the tie fighter pilots was humiliating.
I could of done better but I was reckless and look what happened.
Now I've put my daughter at risk and she almost died.
I'm not going to add anymore deaths of children because of me.
I'm a monster because of that and even with me to save her from death twice,
she will never be safe with me around, I'm just putting her even more in danger and I'm not going to harm another person of my family ever again.
But yet, it's not my family,
it's Anakin Skywalker's family.
No.
I'm still Padme's husband despite who my name is.
But what if she's remarried to Obi-wan?
Anger roared inside.
Because of my anger the remaining glass of the tie fighter smashed which
I turned to look at.
That is the reason why I'm putting her in danger.
My anger.
It was getting dark as the suns were setting and we have only a small supply of water and no food and no shelter.
However if I'm correct, we crashed landed not far my half-brothers' moisture farm and may help her and have some food.
They probably will take her away from me which is for the best.
At least now I've met my daughter.
I couldn't stay long so out here because of those blasted sand people.
"Hang on Leia, your going to be alright."
I picked her up again as I treaded forward, hoping that I can find Owen just in time to save Leia.

I didn't know how long I've been walking for... Hours? But I'm extremely exhausted...
I sworn we were close... Unless
I made a stupid mistake like I always do.
But determined to get her to safety.
I promised myself that I'll save her and I'm going to keep it.
It was night time as I felt the chillie night air hitting me which made me Thankful that I worn so many layers.
Then finally, when I was about to collapse, I saw a small hut.
"Leia! we made it!"
I was smiling at her as she slightly opened her eyes and closed them again.
Wait smiling? I never smile.
Not ever since- Nevermind.
I immediately started sprinting towards the entrance despite my limbs aching, but I'm stronger than that. I've been through much worst and survived.
I knocked on the door.
Come on come on.
I waited, then the door opened.
With a pissed Owen holding a blaster.
"GET THE HELL OFF MY PROPERTY-
Wait, Anakin?!"
I gave him a very, very serious face. As I was full of rage for mentioning that name.
"That's. not. my. name. Owen.
He was weak."
I said it has harsh and cold as I stared at him giving him a look of absolute death.
But despite all that he didn't give a damn.
"Well since it's change your name day, my name is now is Echo Noir!
I now kill people for a living because
I couldn't kill this other guy and think jedi are evil even though I've just killed innocent lives so I can rule the galaxy and if you think I'm referring to someone please do tell me!"
I could only stare being bizarre at this man who doesn't even care what authority or power I have.

"You've got some real balls to come here after what you did. Wait,"
Owen looked outside turning his head both sides.
"If you brought any stormtroopers with you, I SWEAR THAT IF YOU DID THEN I'LL-"
"WILL YOU SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY!
Look I'm...
"Come on. Say it. I'm waiting. "
Ugh I'm going to regret this.
"Sorry,
for what I've done and I get why your mad but I'm here for her."
I gestured to Leia as he saw her sleeping peacefully.
He immediately changed his attitude knowing that she needs help and there is no time for arguing.
"Alright, I can't believe I'm saying this but come in."
I walked in and because of my hight I bumped my head and rubbed it.
"Oh and I forgot to mention,
mind your head. Anyway put her on that couch for now, I'll go and get Beru to help with her. Stay here."
"Like I had a choice."
I sat down on the opposite side of where she was laying.
I immediately see the similarities of Padme.
Her hair.
Her face.
Her confidence.
I saw Beru with two cups of blue milk.
"Here."
I was thirsty since I gave Leia all of my water supply (Which was barely anything) so I accepted the blue milk. I haven't had this stuff in a long time.
Beru started to remove the bandage.
"Okay deary I just want you to move your head a little. Is that alright?"
"Mmhm."
"Okay good."
Beru removed the bandage that did a good job and got out her medical kit and replaced it with a new one and threw the that one away.
"Alright does anywhere else hurt?"
"No... But I'm thirty. "
"Here, it's probably a little different from what your use to, but it's better than nothing."
Beru helped it up to her. Leia let out a little giggle.
"Thank you."
"No problem."
She then put it back on the table as Leia drifted to sleep again.
"Adorable. "
Beru turned.
"Why did you have a child in the middle of the desert?"
"I was about to ask the same thing."
Owen entered after he done whatever he needed to do.
"Last time I recalled you killed people whoever stood in the way of the Empire but now, you are here with a child in the middle of nowhere.
Why?"
"I left the Empire."
"Why did you do that? You probably had lots of power and had lots of respect but you saved a child and you have killed soo many before just to get where you are making you a monster. Why did you save her? "
I looked down looking like a child that had just been scolded at and basically in a nutshell I have. I could only stutter a few words.
"Because... Because... She is my daughter."

Shadows in the Dawn Mist
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - Winner November 2020 When a young woman is lured back to her homeland for the opportunity of a life time, she must face old fears. But never would she think that facing up to her past would change everything. Is History written by the victors, or by someone or something else...? *** I started writing this a few years ago and eventually fell out of love with it. I never finished it and my newer books are being written in different writing style, and genre with a more planned process. I decided to revisit it for the writathon and found that it wasn't as hopeless as I'd come to think. Hopefully, I've improved as a writer since them so the consistency may vary. Its been good to revisit and analyse my writing which I feel used to have some clunky and obvious dialogue which I'm trying to fix. This will always be my first novel and I hope, with a little exposure, I may come to like it again. Thanks for reading!

Daily life of a cultivation judge
Tired of those cultivators who think it is righteous to eliminate a sect or clan root and stem all in the name of revenge and avoiding future troubles, fights over treasures that end up destroying cities with no consequence whatsoever to the culprit, these psychos whose aim for the peak always involves a trail of carnage and bloodshed in its wake for some reason. Then look no further than the daily life of a cultivation judge. Yang Qing, is a young genius cultivator from a low-tier family whose only safe choice to get resources and hopefully lead an easy life led him to the courts of the Cultivation Order Society. Author’s disclaimer: Hey there this is my first novel so any criticism will be well taken though beware I’m a million-year-old monster who has cultivated the way of the sword to the peak. The daily life of a cultivation judge will be true to its name so it will be heavily on the slice of life lane with a bit of action here and there.Meaning we will see the life of Yang Qing when he clocks in and out. Hopefully, it will be one of those novels you read if you need to relax or are in a slacker mood like one of those otakus who listen to the noises of cicadas in the summer famously used in most animes. And it is in the slacker spirit that chapter release will be on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday. Sank yuuu Cover art by Conny Schneider on Unsplash
