《Anakin x Padme (Two sides)》Leaving

"Pack your bags Luke, we have to leave." "Why!?" Luke then looked at me such confusion as I began to pack as fast as possible.
"Because I made a selfish mistake. Which when your older I will tell you." "That's what you said last time and it turns out daddy wasn't invisible."
I then gave him a little smug smile and Luke eventually did what was said.
I wanted to say goodbye to Owen and his wife for taking us in but I wouldn't be able to explain the matter firsthand so I then wrote a note saying thank you for everything, I'm very sorry for leaving and I will always be in your debt.
I truly wished I told them about what happened with Darth Vader but I knew that would put them in danger even more if they knew where they were going and is for the best.
I finished writing and at 1:30 and we left to Obi-wans place and I knew that I had to explain what had happened between me and my husband.
I knew he would be very disappointed in me for what I've done and I don't blame him.
As we finally got outside
"Mommy I need to pee!"
I then faced palmed.
"Why didn't you go at Owen's when you had the chance!"
"I didn't need to then! I need to go now!"
"Ugh... Just do your business behind that rock!"
"Okay!"
Why do I have to be the one to put up with this? He's just like his Dad.
Never thinking ahead! But yet
I did the same thing and now we're fleeing for our lives!
"Done!"
"Good, now we don't have much time, I just hope that none of the sand people have noticed us."

Literally ten seconds later Luke asks a question that even I didn't even know! God, why does my child asks so many questions!
"Mommy! Why do sand people wear masks!"
"I have no ideas. But there's no time to think about that we just need to go to Obi-wans house, okay?"
"Okay Mommy..."
Luckily, Luke didn't ask anymore questions after that and complained that his feet were hurting so I had to give him a piggy back.
I finally arrived at the darn place where I surprisingly found
Obi-wan waiting by the door which I think he knew what was going on.
Since he gave that disappointing look.
"Ben-"
"I can explain, yes! I've heard it all before! You somehow despite not being that connected to the force managed or should I say 'accidently'
used the force with no training whatsoever! And yet!
You tried to talk to your daughter using the force, which is risky, who you will meet eventually which you find out instead of talking to her,
it was Darth Vader.
Am I correct?"
I stood in shock and didn't realise my son was waving his hand in front of me which I eventually slapped out of
the shock.
"Wait, how did you know-"
Obi-wan raised his brow.
"Ohhh, jedi stuff.
Look I'm, very sorry but because of my stupid mistake we have to leave!"
"Yes I know that's why I'm awake."
"But how are we going to get off this planet!"
Obi-wan smirked
"Don't worry. I've got a ship. "
"HOW!"
"Let's just say someone was spying for the Emperor and I took care of it."
"Wait, what do you mean-"
"We'll talk about it later but right now I think we need to leave."
I then heard something outside and looked to see a ship in the distance with twenty stormtroopers coming out and heading this way.

"Lead the way Ben. "
We were against the clock as we rushed out of the house with our faces hidden as I held Lukes' small arm as he was trying to keep up with the pace.
We then stopped at a place where a huge rock covered the entrance of a large cave opening and with the force, Obi-wan moved it out of the way with ease.
Inside was a ship that had just enough space for three people to fit in. Obi-wan then helped Luke in with Padme sitting next to him then Obi-wan at the controls which they slowly made out of the cave and
flown into space without the stormtroopers catching too much attention as they went into hyperspace.

ELIOT NESS FOR MAYOR is a short novel of magical-realist fiction, a stand-alone book in the Shantytown Cycle. Written for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), I will be posting revisions as I complete them and should be done by early 2022, though I am making major changes so the timing may be longer. This book is cross-posted on two websites: Wattpad and Royal Road. Both are reputable, high-quality sites. Do not trust this book on other websites. They "scrape" material from reputable sites, posting the stolen material as an original to lure users in, but contain links that include malicious code.
