《Mama Nootmare (A fanfic with the bad sanses)》Chapter 11 - Prank gone wrong

Killer POV:
I kicked my wall out of boredom. It was early Saturday so there wasn't any school. Horror barged into my room.
"Can you not kick the wall?" He asked, audibly annoyed.
"I'm bored!" I complained.
"That's not my problem! Stop kicking the wall that connects to my room!" He said before storming out.
I waited until Horror was back in his room then I gave the wall one last kick out of spite. He knocked on the wall angrily. I chuckled darkly. I rolled onto my stomach. Bored, bored, bored. What can I do? What would be fun though? A prank? Oh, that would be fun! I haven't pulled one since before the incident in my au. What to do though? I could hide Cross's chocolate...or Dust's dinosaurs. He loved those things. Maybe I could stash them around the house hidden in plain sight. That'd annoy him. I giggled to myself. I could get them after he went to sleep. As long as Nightmare doesn't hear me, it'll be fine.
~That Night~
After Nightmare said goodnight, I waited about half an hour, hoping that Dust would be out by now. I crept out of bed and down the hall. Dust's room was pretty close to mine, so it was quick. He left his door open a crack, so I slowly pushed the door open. It creaked, but quietly enough so that Dust didn't hear. I quietly walked over to his nightstand, where the dinosaurs were scattered near. I grabbed all the dinosaurs I could find. I hid one behind a comic book in a cubby of his nightstand. I took the others and began hiding them in obvious, camouflaged, areas. I had taken the tape dispenser from the kitchen and taped one up high on his wall. I snickered as I finished hiding the last few out in the hall. I yawned and walked back to my room. I couldn't wait to see Dust's reaction!
~The Next Morning~
I got up early and waited. Soon a screech rang through the castle. Everyone rushed over to see what was wrong. I pretended I didn't know. Dust was really angry.
"WHO DID IT?!" He demanded once everyone was there.
"Killer." Nightmare's calm voice said. Dust glared daggers at me. "Why don't you tell Dusty what you did last night?"
"How did you-?" I was stunned. He didn't know. He couldn't have known!

"I felt your mischievousness last night." He said with a smirk.
"Why would you do that?!" Dust shouted. He summoned a weapon and stalked towards me. I backed away. I didn't think he'd react like this. Nightmare picked Dust and I both up with a tentacle. He turned to Horror and Cross.
"Why don't you two go find Dust's missing dinosaurs out in the hall?" He offered. The other two kids agreed and ran out of the room. "Now, Dust calm down. Killer here is going to have to say where every last dino is and do whatever you say for the rest of the day. Tell me if he doesn't."
I gasped. I had to be Dust's servant for the day? Why?!
"That's not fair!" I shouted.
"Too bad. Actions have consequences, Kills." Nightmare replied, dropping us both. Dust snickered.
Horror and Cross came running in with four dinos. They left with Nightmare afterwards. I glared at Dust.
"You're going to help me find all my dinosaurs." Dust said in a sickly sweet tone. I crossed my arms. "Then." Dust continued "I wanna pull a prank with you. If we can get Horror in on it, we can prank Nightmare." I looked at him. A devious smile crept onto my face. "He did call you out." I laughed. We looked at each other.
3rd person POV:
Killer and Dust planned a prank. Throw a bucket of water on Nightmare when he came through a door. Most likely his room. They got Horror in on it and even Cross. They all sat in the floor in Dust's room, planning.
~Another Lovely Time Skip~
Nightmare POV:
I yawned and stretched. I had just finished the majority of my paperwork for now. 'I need to check on the kidiots.' I thought. I had slowly just started calling them that on my mind.
"Nightmare!" I recognized Cross's voice. He sounded upset. 'What now?' I thought.
I walked over to the door. I opened and took one step out when I saw water flying towards me. I tried to block it with my tentacles, but half of it landed on the right side of my face and shoulder. It stung like hell. I looked around with my eye. Horror was on the floor with a bucket.
I shrieked.
The goop was falling off the side of my face and shoulder, even nearing my collarbone. My other eye regained a small amount of blurry sight. Horror scooted back with the bucket. I saw the others come into view. The goop had stopped falling off and showed the right side of my face, my right shoulder, and a bit of my collarbone. Part of one of my tentacles was gone too. They stared at the revealed bones. Then something unexpected happened.

"Can you hear me now?" That was the dead prince's voice.
I shut my eyes. Why was I hearing him? The uncovered side of my face stung. I could feel the cracks everywhere on it. Then I realized Cross was saying something, and crying. I focused to hear him.
"Are you okay?! Nightmare!" I bent down to him.
"I'm okay. Just, stinging." I told him. I looked at the others. "Please don't do this again." Why was I so nice? I'm supposed to be upset! I shook my head. I needed to process things.
"They didn't mean to. They didn't know what would happen." The prince said. I couldn't see him. I could hear him clear as day though.
"Head to your rooms." I said. "I'll tell you when you can come out." I turned to walk back into my room. I didn't care to hear if they ran off.
'Why can I hear you?' I thought.
"I don't know. I can see out of my eye! It's blurry." He said...cheerfully? I sat on my bed.
'It has to be because part of the goop came off.' I thought. It was supposed to be to myself.
"Maybe. You can hear me right now though!" He giggled childishly. His voice seemed to echo through my head. Hopefully he would go away. A knock on my door startled me.
"Come in."
Horror POV:
"Come in."
We all looked at one another. We walked in slowly. "Do you guys need something?" Nightmare said quietly, not looking at us. His left side was facing us.
"We're sorry. We didn't think this would happen." I looked back at the others.
Killer and Dust looked the most guilty. Cross was hugging onto Dust from behind. Nightmare didn't say anything. I looked to the others again. Killer mouthed 'Hug?' To all of us. We all lit up. We ran over to Nightmare and hugged him. Cross and Dust jumped on the bed and hugged him from behind, whereas me and Killer hugged him from the front.
"Ow! Cross, watch the shoulder!" I heard Cross giggle.
Then Nightmare laughed. I looked up at the cracked side of his face. His second eye had a purple eye light. This was the eye we'd never seen. Nightmare stood up, he seemed to be about to shove us away, but he didn't.
The Prince's POV:
Terror(Is what the prince calls Mare) was about to shove them away!
"Terror wait!" I shouted in his mind. My blurry vision saw the blobs hugging us.
'What?' He thought, annoyed.
"Just give them this. They didn't know what they were doing. They'll do anything for you right now so you don't hurt them or kick them out." I said. "The least you can do is give them a heartfelt hug."
Nightmare shifted our vision down towards his kids, which looked like blobs to me. I heard him mentally sigh. I squealed happily as he bent down and made a group hug.
"How about you guys go get things ready to watch a movie? I have a stinging headache and don't want to do it myself." The little blobs agreed and ran off. It oddly reminded me of Dream when I asked him to do something for me, but quadrupled. "And no more pranks!" He called after them.
"Terror?" I asked.
'What now?'
"Can I have a name? I don't like being referred to as 'the dead prince' all the time." I sheepishly asked. Nightmare tilted our sight upwards.
"You still exist as my passive form. The kids just proved that." He muttered aloud. "How do you feel about that, Passive?"
"Passive..." I repeated. Not as good as my original name, that he took, but it works. "Passive! I'm Passive now! Please don't take that one too!" I worried.
He laughed. 'You don't need to worry' he thought.
"Now let's go watch a movie! Blurry, but movie technically in my body!" I announced. He laughed again and he walked us downstairs.
3rd Person POV:
Sadly the next day, the goop was back and Passive was silent again. He was still ecstatic to have a new name though. The kids still felt terrible about hurting Nightmare, so he grounded them from the next two missions as a punishment. They got the message and didn't do pranks anymore...to Nightmare.
