《Bakugou's Lover》Chapter Four: What is Family?

It's been a few days since the three "brought" Katsuki back to their home. And it only took a few days for Kirishima to get him to warm up to him. It wasn't a bad thing though. That's what they wanted him to do. So why were the other two upset? It might be the fact that Katsuki only spends time with Kirishima. Leaving the other two to just watch. They didn't realize how jealous they could've gotten over the small blond boy.
Whenever there was work to be done Kirishima would always stay home to keep him company leaving no room for an argument from the other two boys. And other times when it was urgent and he needed to go, he would only speak about Katsuki. Telling them every little detail he had learned about him. Like how he would tangle his fingers when he's nervous, how if he blushed his eyes would turn bright red, and how he gets cold very easily. He always talked about him with a star-struck look on his face.
And to be honest it was really starting to tick them off.
Sure they loved to hear about the small things he does, but it was always him and Kirishima. They wanted to be a part of that too. But how could they when Kirishima was gatekeeping him? Midoriya would ask Katsuki to talk to him but he would always say that Eijiro had already asked him. When did they get close enough for Katsuki to be comfortable to call him by his first name?
Todoroki had been asking other questions though. How does he know how bright Katsuki's eyes would get when he blushed? What did he do to make him blush?
It was around 2 am when they got back from a drug deal. Last time his men got screwed over and lost $50,000 and three bags of cocaine. Iida had driven them back from a successful deal and pulled up to their large house. Kirishima quickly walked up the stairs as the two others walked a step or two behind him.

"Hey, Kirishima," Todoroki said as they walked into the living room. The light from the fireplace was the only thing lighting the room. "Yeah, Todobro?" Kirishima said, smiling. "You've been getting pretty close to Kacchan recently. Don't you think you should back down so we can get to know him?" Midoriya said, sitting next to half n half on the couch.
Kirishima scoffed, making the two widen their eyes slightly. "Back off? It's not my fault he likes me more than you too. If anything you guys should back off, he's not showing any interest in you two. So why bother?" Kirishima said. He sat on the opposite couch and glared at them. "He's not showing any interest because he doesn't have the chance. He's with you every day." Todoroki said. His hands were slightly gripping his pants as he spoke.
Kirishima laughed, leaning back onto his seat. "I don't know why you're getting mad. You probably would have taken forever to just talk to him alone. Like you did when you told us about him." "I'm mad because you know we both like him too and you're not even giving him a chance to see his other options!"
"Like you're even an option! He barely looks in your direction!" Kirishima yelled back. Todoroki grabbed him by the collar and brought him towards his face. "Shut the fuck up, you damn nobody!" "Ha! You're calling me a nobody, you hid behind your father's shadow for what? All your life? You had your father talk big about you so when he retired you would look important!" Midoriya put a hand on both their shoulders. "Hey, don't start bringing families into this, Kirishima!" "Like you're one to fucking speak!"
"What's that supposed to fucking mean?" "It is what it sounds like. You, the son of the all-powerful Yagi, were born into this. At least Todoroki kinda worked for this position. You have no fucking clue what you're getting yourself into when you talk about families!" Kirishima pushed them both back. Midoriya pushed him back, "Weren't you the one to sell your so-called family for drugs? You don't have a single reason to bring families into this. You don't even know the real definition of it."

Kirishima punched him in the face. Midoriya stumbled back before rushing him. They both hit the ground and started punching each other. Todoroki stood back watching them fight. He didn't know what to do. He knew damn well that Kirishima deserved it, but did he really want their friendship to be broken up?
"Eijiro?"
Todoroki turned his head to see Bakugou standing at the bottom of the stairs. "Bakugou..." Todoroki said and he turned to see that the two others had stopped fighting and were staring at Bakugou. Kirishima looked worse than Midoriya by far. Eijiro pushed him off and walked towards Bakugou. He grabbed his hand and walked him out the front door.
"E-eijiro? Where are you taking me?" Katsuki asked, trying to walk faster so he doesn't fall. "We're going somewhere else tonight. Sorry, you had to see me like that." Kirishima didn't look at him as he spoke. He quickly took him down to their garage and pulled him into a black car. It wasn't the car that they normally took. it was a different car. Katsuki quickly took a glance in the back to see that there were three duffle bags.
Kirishima just started driving, he didn't say anything to Katsuki as he drove. The drive felt awkward to Kirishima, they always spoke when they were alone. If not speaking then doing other things. Katsuki on the other hand was scared shitless. Eijiro looked pissed. He hadn't said anything from the moment he stepped into the car. His eyes started watering. Eijiro had glanced at him and he saw fat tears running down his face.
"Katsuki, what's wrong?!" Kirishima said, panicking. "A-are you mad at me?" Katsuki said, turning to him. Kirishima had to tear his gaze away from him in favor of the road because he didn't want them to crash. "Of course not, baby. I'm just...not feeling well." Kirishima lied. He was mad. Just not a Katsuki. What would have happened if he heard anything that they were talking about? It would have been the end for him.
"One of my friends is working in the medical field. They can help with...that." Katsuki said quietly. Kirishima smiled and laughed. "Sure! Any friend of Katsuki is a friend of mine. Where do they live?" Katsuki smiled. His eyes soften.
That smile will be the death of him.

After three centuries, post-industrial civilization threatens to shatter. Megacorporations accrue enormous power by linking together nations turned insular in the aftermath of yesterday's global multilateralism; a reinvigorated United Nations threatens the crumbling sovereignty of state by enforcing human rights independently of member nations, and the UN and others patrol for mass destruction technologies in the ever-accelerating, ever-democratizing arms race. Another environmental collapse looms, visions of the last haunting memories and consciences of the lower and middle classes around the globe. That is the reality that virtual child Colton is rehabilitated into. A system shock, a brave new world and above all a regurgitation. Rescued from being a tool in cyberspace and grown a new body, Colton couldn't care less about the new meatspace world. He wants to go back, back to the electronic glow that was his home. - - - - This is a MyNoWriMo entry. Lesser known than NaNoWriMo, MyNoWriMo takes place in January and is otherwise exactly the same. The goal is to finish this as quickly as possible and then possibly circle back and tidy things up. In the meantime there'll be no editing and helter-skelter story planning since I didn't do it beforehand :/

She's never beaten Rei once he's serious. Anasthese has always considered Rei the best of her generation. It's her lifelong goal to beat and surpass him. That's why, when Rei's cancer had become fatal after their 3rd year running, Anasthese took it hard. Rei will die, with her never having beaten him, not even once. Things take an unexpected turn when Rei reveals that he is far from the "invincible" player Anasthese envisions him to be. Even he has someome he could never beat, not even if his life depended on it... a fellow apprentice who studied with him under GM Amane. A guy so-called "Net". This enrages Anasthese. A person stronger than Rei should not exist. Because if he did, then what has all her efforts for the past years been for? And if this Net "does" exist, why doesn't he challenge Rei for the title? Rei tells her it's not that simple... Net's playstyle is void. It's an enigma. It's chess that should not exist, and should physically not be possible to play. It goes against all logic, and it's power is not something that can be measured in numbers. It's something that would "absolutely not work" in a professional setting. Anasthese attends Rei's funeral as a last rite before setting off for Japan, bound towards the disintegrating Futenma Shintenkan Highschool chessclub, of which there are only two members left: Mukuro and Net. She has to see it with her own eyes, a playstyle that Rei lost to... And as Anasthese stays for the long-term, various misadventures are started at Futenma High, including rebuildung the club, Anasthese's "Royal Guards" (four girls dedicated to serving Anasthese and helping challenge Rei) coming to take her back to America, and unexpected guests gracing the local Sports Meet chess scene. From a guy who can only play well everytime money's involved, to a girl who plays on a weird "Magical Girls vs Orcs" chess set, get introduced to the quirky playstyles that make chess wonderful. (Disclaimer: I am not a chess pro, I'm only 1400. Expect me to have no idea what I'm talking about at certain times...)
