《Bakugou's Lover》Chapter Three: Worries and Reliefs

Bakugou sat there contemplating what he should do. He knew he wouldn't be able to tell them no. He knew he wouldn't be able to escape, they knew where he worked, they knew who he hung out with, and they probably knew where he lived. Bakugou was trapped.
Bakugou knew that he wouldn't be able to return their feelings. They seemed like nice guys if he didn't think about the part where they kidnapped him and told him he can't leave. Would they even let him leave if he ever did return their feelings?
Bakugou's eyes watered as he thought about never leaving and being stuck there. The three men in front of him were surprised at the sudden burst of tears and started to get up to comfort them. Bakugou's eyes widened as they all walked towards him, he got up and ran behind the couch, startling the men. "Katsuki. It won't be so bad. We'll give you whatever you could ever want or need." Kirishima said looking over the couch. He saw that Katsuki was holding the bouquet closer to his chest. Watering them with his tears.
"Kacchan, we know that it will take a while for you to get used to being here. We got you your own room. The one you woke up in, I mean." Midoriya nervously laughed.
"K-kacchan?" Bakugou spoke softly as he looked up at Midoriya. Bakugou's red eyes stared at him as he waited for an answer. Midoriya almost got lost in them before Kirishima tapped him on the shoulder. "Ah..yes! Kacchan is a little bit easier for me is all." He laughed again, scratching the back of his neck. Bakugou nodded his head and looked back down at the flowers.
"Oh if you would like, we can go put them in water." Bakugou turned his head to the redhead and nodded. "...okay." Kirishima held out his hand for him to take. He hesitantly grabbed it and walked with the redhead. Bakugou looked back and saw that Midoriya and Todoroki were pouting.
"K-kirishima?" he looked up at the tall man to see him smiling down at him. "What's up, Katsuki? And you can call me Eijiro!" Bakugou averted his eyes back to the white flowers. "I saw the news earlier. I was on it. And my friends are really worried about me. You made them worry." Bakugou's eyes started to water as he talked. Kirishima did feel some guilt because of what happened. He didn't like seeing him sad. And it could have been even worse if one of the people that got hurt were one of his friends.

"I'm sorry about that. Izuku wanted to get you at the bar but that girl never left your side. So we did plan b." Kirishima laughed. Bakugou looked away from the man. "I-I wanna see my friends. Just to let them know that I'm okay." Bakugou looked up at him and gave him the best puppy eyes that he could. Kirishima's face turned red as he furiously nodded. Bakugou smiled before holding his hand tighter. "Can we put these in water now, Eijiro?" Kirishima blushed and nodded.
-------------------------------------------
"You said he could, what?!" Midoriya yelled at Kirishima as he covered his head. "I couldn't say no! He gave me the cutest puppy eyes. I didn't stand a chance!" Midoriya sighed as they heard footsteps walk down the stairs. Bakugou came hopping down looking very excited. It pulled at all of their heartstrings and they mentally agreed that this was fine.
They all walked towards one car that pulled in front of the big house they lived in. A man with blue hair came out of the car and opened the door for them. "Kacchan, this is Tenya Iida. Our driver." Iida held out his hand for Bakugou to shake and he did. "Nice to meet you." Bakugou nodded his head as he was led into the car. Bakugou sat next to Kirishima while Midoriya and Todoroki sat across from them.
The ride was long. It seemed like they lived all the way across town from where he lived. He stared out the window as he heard the men talking. He didn't know what they were talking about but it wasn't interesting to him in the slightest. He thought about his friends' sad faces and frowned. He didn't like seeing his friends sad. No, he hated it!
He smiled as he saw the mall in sight. He could feel himself jumping in his seat. He smiled as he saw their grey minivan out in the parking lot. "Katsuki, are you excited?" Bakugou turned to the redhead and nodded as he looked back out the window. He heard the three laugh as he waited for Iida to park.

It didn't take them much time to park so when Kirishima finally let him out he almost ran into the mall but was stopped by Todoroki picking him up from his sides. "Not so fast, Bakugou." Bakugou nervously laughed as he was placed back down. "Kacchan, we need to know that you won't run away the second we get in there." Bakugou nodded before glancing back at the mall.
Through the window, he could see them sitting by the water fountain. He smiled as he saw them smiling and laughing. "Kacchan, are you listening?" Bakugou looked back at the three and nodded smiling. "Then what did I say?" "You said that it's time to go inside! Let's go!" Bakugou cheered as he started walking. The three sighed before following them.
It didn't take long for his friends to see him and run over to him. The three men were standing farther away to give him some privacy with his friends. "Bakubae! Where did you go?! We were all worried!" Mina yelled, hugging him. "I met some nice guys at the club and went with them. We went out through the back door. I heard you guys were in a shooting!" Bakugou said, glancing at the three.
"Yeah, it was terrifying! A few people got hurt because they were too drunk to realize what was happening." Uraraka said, pulling away from Bakugou after she checked him for bruises.
"We were mostly worried about you, but we're glad you're okay." Denki pulled him into a hug after Mina let go of him. "Especially, Lucid. He was walking all around the house thinking he'd find you hiding somewhere." Tokoyami said softly as he stood near Bakugou. He knew that Tokoyami doesn't really like touching unless it's him doing it. Bakugou frowned as he thought about him. His big puppy.
"Well tell him I'll see him soon." They all nodded before Mina clapped her hands. "So Bakugou, who are those guys that have been awkwardly standing there scaring people. They all turn to see them talking to each other looking intimidating. When they realized they were being watched they smiled and waved at Bakugou. "Oh, we need to get back to work!" Uraraka said looking at her phone showing it to Bakugou he nodded and smiled and waved as they walked out.
The three men looked over at him and saw he was sitting by the fountain. He looked so pretty to them. He looked so pretty to everyone. Even to the guy that walked up to him and started talking to him. Midoriya had slipped a mic on him so they could hear what he was saying. "Hey, I saw you sitting here all alone. I was wondering if I could keep you company?"
The three saw as Bakugou nodded and the stranger sat right next to him. They saw as he slid him his phone and Bakugou picked it up and scoffed. He typed something quickly before dropping his phone in the fountain. The man with dirty blond grabbed it from the bottom before shouting profanities and walking away.
Bakugou laughed before walking towards the three men. "I'm ready to go now." Bakugou smiled as he started walking towards their car. The men followed behind the blond. Holding a new type of respect for him. Seeing him take care of himself made them happy.
But they didn't know how well Bakugou could take care of himself just yet.

Rooms of the Desolate
Rooms of the Desolate is a collection of short stories designed to guide the reader through the many rooms and mysteries of the bleak and greyscale labyrinth of the Desolate. The first entry, "The Forever Tower" follows an unnamed wanderer climbing an endless, colourless tower; the only world they have ever known. As they slowly ascend alongside the masses, they consider the nature of their world and look to the corridors as temptation beckons. The second entry, "Production Line", follows an engineer in a boundless factory, who encounters a product that does not wish to bow to the overseers and makes them question their belief in the truth and duties they were made to believe. Content guidelines: Current entries do not include explicit profanity, but future entries may do so, hence the presence of that tag. Some entries do include gore and violence, though not currently to particularly extreme degrees. The Desolate is exactly that: a desolate world; as such, it is bleak, downtrodden, and may deal with mental struggles. Cover art credit: Adam Borkowski on Pexels.
