We we're surrounded by flashing lights and music as I helped Lamelo get up from falling. I definitely didn't expect to spend are anniversary like this but I wouldn't wanna spend it any other way.

"I honestly don't see a point of coming here if you weren't going to go in the ring or at least get your skates on" Daedae says irritated by me bringing us here

we we're at "The Joint"

A place where only ages under 19 people could only come to every floor was a different activity. Like laser tag, bowling, mini golf, escape rooms, movie rooms,

It was so fun but a hour long drive from my house. But I knew it was gonna be worth it because every Friday chanel came here.

And this could be my chance to talk to her. Like actually have a real conversation with her

"Okay I'll go" I said getting up and going on the ring I completely sucked at this shit and was honestly ready to go until she came through.

She was even more pretty outside of school. She had her hair out of a ponytail for the first time finally and it was straight with burgundy in the back. With baggy pants sagging to show her ethika's and a fitted A's hat with costume bright air force's.

I watched her as I struggled to loop around the ring I watched as she stepped on the ring she was a pro. She could do any dance while keeping her balance she looked over at me and smiled big to show her white teeth with black braces and her hand extended out wide waving excitedly. As I gave her a awkward low wave. As she went back to dancing

"Hi Lamelo" I heard from behind me as I flinched to see chanel. This wasn't one of my favorite moments probably one of my most embarrassing moments I fell flat on the ring.

As she waited no time to help me I leaned on the border of the ring

"How embarrassing was that" I said as she smiled at me

"Just a little it's okay at least you got up"

I wondered why she kept smiling but maybe the led lights were getting to me

"I wasn't expecting to see you here"she tucked her hair away

"I wasn't expecting to see you here either especially like this" I said lying knowing damn well I came for her

"What do you mean" she questioned

"You look pretty"I said tryna sound tuff while she smiled

"Reallyyy thanksss" I could tell she appreciated that

"Aye chill out not that pretty" I said laughing at my joking as she cracked a giggle

"You wanna go Dance" she said pointing at the court

"Oh I don't dance well I can dance but just not with roller skates on I already fell like twenty times"

"Come on you got it" was this girl serious I'm bout to embarrass myself again but before I could say no she pulled my hand and started skating and singing to the song she was comfortable while I was still unbalanced

Chanel POV

After helping Lamelo get up I told him

"It was okay" like every time he fell.

I loved how he dose this for me even though he gets hurt a lot.

He smiled at me when we were roller skating

"What" I asked

"You knowwww since I'm 18 now I could technically propose to you right now" He said smirking slowing down
