(I wanna write smth and since no one commented on no kids (Ju said thanks) imma make this lol)
After Ju got to his room Clay looked at me and we fell into a silence for a second.
"So... you want another kid?" He asked
I thought about it for a second.
Did I want to pus out a living thing? No. A kid is my kid if their my blood or not.
Would there be pros to having another kid? Not really, but it would be nice. Plus, it would make Ju happy. And on top of that we would make a kids live better.
Would there be cons? None that we couldn't handle. We had all the money in the world, had a big ass house- too big for three people and all the time we'd ever need.
"I think so. Do you?" I asked.
He looked down and thought about it for a second. "We have everything needed, and it would make Ju happy." We made eye contact. "Would you- want to- you know.."
I giggled. "I dont think so. Adoption sounds better."
Clay smiled and nodded. "Well then. Should we tell Ju?"
"I think we should. JU!" I yelled and he ran down right away.
"AM I GETTING A SIBLING?!" He stopped in front of us.
I smiled. "Yes. You are."
He jumped and hugged Clay and me.
"I AM GETTING A SIBLING!" He yelled once more and jumped in between us.
Suddenly, my phone started ringing. It was Mason. Meaning it was probably also Niki.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT?!" Mason yelled right as I answered the face time.
"I am?"
"She is?" Clay asked.
"Ju texted us." Niki said.
Clay and me looked at Ju and he put his hands in the air. "I just thought-"

Before he could finish I gave him a flick. "Ouch"
"Hey that's my thing." The blonde/brunette/ginger (BRO WHATS DREAMS HC-????) said.
~
"Welcome. I'm guessing you're Mr. And Mrs. Block L/N?" (SOMEONE IN MY DIDC SERVER SAID TO CALL EM BLOCK SO IM DOING THAT.)
(Join my discord server.)
"That's us." Clay said.
"Great, would you please fill out these forms whilst I get the kids ready? I'm sure you're already known with this process? You've adopted Veronica a few years back from what I've heard." (IDK HOW THIS WORKS HELP)
Clay and me looked at each other and scoffed. "Uhm- it's Justin, now. He's trans."
The woman seemed a bit surprised and- well. Uncomfortable. "R-right." She cleared her throat. "I'll get the girls and boys ready."
When she left Clay and me exchanged looks yet again. "She did not just go from kids to girls and boys." He said.
I shook my head in dissapointed and we started filling out the forms.
When we filled it out the woman came back and showed us to the kids. Sometimes adoption takes months, dven years, but we're gonna get through this.
"These are the boys and girls from 7 months to 15 years. Kids, interduce yourselves."
One by one they all interduced themselves, but one kid in specific cought my eye. (STOP THIS SOUNDS LIKE A DAMN ANIMAL ADOPTION AHH)
Her name was Melissa. She had very very long brown hair, going down to under her knees, green eyes and a darker- kinda caramel skin color. She was a bit taller than the other 13 year olds.
After we were interduced to all of them, the woman took Clay and me to another room to talk about our decision.
"Lets say the name of the kid who cought our eye most on the count of three." Clay said and I nodded. "One, two, three-"

"Melissa." We both said in union and smiled.
"Easy decision."
~
Melissa was told the news not even ten minutes later and started crying and thanking us.
"Thank you thank you thank you-" she cried.
We smiled and opened our arms, hugging Melissa for the first time.
After Melissa was told to pack we were brought back to the woman- who's name was Lili- and we started talking about the price, which ended up being 14k.
After we finished the payment the process of adoption was to start, but untill then she could come home with us. People would check up on her for a month and during that time we'd finish up the adoption and before we knew it we were in front of the adoption center, Melissa's stuff packed and ready.
When we got near the entrance Melissa's eyes widened. "You live here?" She asked.
I smiled and nodded.
"We forgot to tell you, you have a brother. He's 14, you'll be going to the same school. Well arrange you two go to the same class." Clay explained.
She gulped.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Uh- what if he- doesn't like me?"
Clay and me exchanged looks and smiled. I put my hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. He really wanted a sibling."
And so, we walked inside together.
"Ju! Come down please!" Clay yelled, and Ju ran right down.
"Hi-" He stopped when he saw Melissa, looking at her, then me, then Clay, then Melissa again. "No way."
He walked up to her, the height difference not to oversee, and asked "Can I hug you?"
She fiddled with her fingers for a second before putting her suitcase down. Not a second later Ju hugged her, letting go a few seconds later.
"Hi. I'm Ju. I'm 14. What's your name? What are yours pronouns? Do you like minecraft? Genshin? How old are you? Do-"
"Ju, how about you show her around before bombarding her with questions." Clay said.
Ju nodded. "Come with me! Mom, which ones her room?"
"Across yours. We're gonna go furniture shopping later." I said, patting Melissa's back. "Well make dinner. Come down in an hour or so."
Ju nodded and took Melissa's hand, pulling her upstairs while asking her questions.
"They're gonna get along well." Clay said.
I smiled and looked at him. "Come on. Let's make dinner." I said, pecking his lips.
He smiled and put his hand around my hip, walking to the kitchen with me.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]
