"Mom! Dad!" Ju yelled as he slid down the staircase fence. (Is that the name? Idk)
"Hm?" Clay asked, turning around. "Justin I told you not to do that you could break your neck."
I looked at him. "Don't at like you didn't teach him that."
"I want a sibling."
"What." Clay and me said in union.
Ju sat down next to us. "You heard me. I want a sibling."
"Ju-"
"Best case scenario is you getting pregnant." He added.
"Justin-"
"Don't act like you guys don't fuck whilst I'm-"
"Justin! Language!" Clay said.
"Did you just-"
"Never thought I'd say it either." He interrupted me.
"So you're not denying it?" Justin interrupted.
"Ju, why do you want a sibling?" Clay asked, trying to change the topic.
"You guys for real always do it when I'm at s-" I cut him off by slapping his neck. (Not hard of course.) "Fine. I want a sibling becouse."
"I have a feeling Bennet still hates me. Do you want your sibling to hate your partner?" I said. (Anyone gonna do the math for how old Bennet is? Cuz I'm too lazy)
"Uncle Bennet doesn't like you?" Ju asked confused.
"Well talk about that some other day. Now, why do you want a sibling?"
"Well. It gets lame around here."
"Ok so-" Clay said. "You have a pool, a big ass back yard, like ten computers, a million TVs, a literal Cinema, your friends come over every two minutes, you have a tennis court, ten skateboards which Sapnap bought you, a room you could clean any time-"
"Ok I get your point but still." Ju leaned back. "It would be so fun having a sibling. Don't you agree dad?"

"If by fun you mean kids constantly yelling, your stuff getting stolen, having to deal with your siblings friends, zero privacy and having to share our love?"
"I already have to share your love with Dream."
Dream was our cat. We adopted her after- well. I think you know after what. (If you don't- cats don't usually live over 15 years. If you dont wanna do the match she would've been 15. SHUT UP I DONT LIKE THE THOUGHT OF THAT EITHER-)
And why did we call her Dream? Oh why do you remember that letter I wrote Clay about 13 years ago? God I'm old-
"Well then, would you like having to share our love with two others?"
"Well- ok shut up. Mom, would you rather have siblings or be a single child."
"Sorry Clay, I'm with Ju on this."
Clay looked at me. "You want a kid?"
"I'm just saying I agree with Ju. Ju," I turned to him. "How about you let me and dad talk?"
"WAIT AM I GONNA GET A SIBLING?!"
"Ju. What did I just say?"
"Fine. My friends are comming in a few minutes by the way."
"Ju."
"Sorry sorry." With that, he went up to his room.

The Exodus Project
This is the original version of Origin before I rewrote it. It's much more simpler, some names and personalities are a little different. THere's nowhere near as much back story or character development/interaction. But the story is essentially at the end of book one. I wrote this 15 odd years ago, and with a bit of polish it doesn't look too bad. The story like Origin is about a group of college students who find a ship that is the last remnant of an ancient human space faring civilisation, they fix her up and go back into space. Along they way they'll meet alot of aliens, religious fundamentalists and conmen.
