~one week later~
Today Clay was at my place and he was taking to his parents in my room whilst I was watching TV in the living room.
He soon came out and asked "Y/N?"
"Yeah?"
"So uh- my parents wanna visit and meet you- is that fine with you?"
I froze for a moment.
How was I supposed to meet his parents?
I've never met any of my partner parents- probably becouse the relationships were very very short but still-
Fuck-
"I- uhm- I mean yeah sure just- do you think they'll like me? What if they don't like something about me- what if they don't like that I'm not from America?"
"Are you calling my parents racist?" Clay joked, leaning against the door frame, crossing his arms and giggling.
"Oh shut up you know that's not what I meant but- fuck." I said.
"Its ok, you don't need to meet them if you're nervous."
"I mean I'd love to but I'm just scared I'll fuck something up-" I said, biting my nail.
He sat down next to me and side hugged me. "Its gonna be fine. Drista and Brick (YOU KNEW DAMN WELL THAT WAS COMING- THATS A REAL BOYS NAME- "brick" is what I'm calling his little brother btw- bc of clay- get it-) will be there too. And don't worry, whenever I talk to them about you they're always excited to hear."
I looked at him. "You little brothers name is Brick?" I giggled.
"Its actually Bennet but since he joked about my name all the time I started calling Brick. And it stayed." He smiled.
"Well, ok. I'll meet your parents. When are they comming?"
"Tomorrow at around 3pm. It's a two hour drive."

"Oh, ok. Let's go buy some ingredients and presents."
"Why-?"
I paused. "You don't cook for your family when they come visit?"
"Not really- we go to a restaurant. And I don't really buy presents when they come over-"
"No no no no no. Restaurant comes the next day. I'm gonna cook something. And you should always buy presents. That's the way I was brought up at least."
"Oh well then, let's go buy it."
"Great. Can I stay at your place so I can cook in the morning?"
"Of course, but why not just cook today?"
"Becouse the food will get cold? Obviously."
"Can't you heat it up?"
"And you wonder why I don't let you cook." I smiled, standing up and getting my bag. "Lets go."
~
After we got ingredients we went over to his house. Sap came back home five days ago and was currently streaming.
For the past months of dating I've started leaving stuff at his place, so I didn't have to pack anything.
"Ok, I'm gonna cook three different dishes, one vegan, one vegetarian and one with meat, plus dessert."
"How do you know all these recipes?" Clay asked.
"My parents owned a restaurant and I helped in the kitchen."
"Owned?"
"Divorced, couldn't run it together anymore and I couldn't and wouldn't take over."
"Oh, sorry."
"Its fine, but that explains your cooking skills."
"Thanks." I smiled, pecking his lip. "Now help me make the dessert, that can stay cold."
~
The next day I was finishing up the cooking with a bit of Clays and Saps help, we finished right as the bell rang.
Clay ran to open it and my heart started beating faster as I put down the last fork.

Sapnap saw that I was a bit worked up and pat my back. "Its gonna be fine, his family's really nice." He whispered.
I smiled and nodded, when a girl ran inside the house.
"Y/N? Oh hi Sap." She asked, and I realised right away that it was Drista.
"Hi!" I greeted. Drista was around Sapnaps height, maybe a bit shorter and looked the same as Clay. She was 16 from what Clay told me. (I'm guessing)
"You look so much prettier than in the photos!" She said, running up to me. "'m Drista. Nice to finally meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too!" I smiled, shaking her hand, before other people walked in.
A tall brunette woman, blonde- a bit shorter- man and a brunette boy.
"You must be Y/N!" The mom said.
"That's me. You must be Miss Evelyn" (I'm out of names and I'm reading t7hoeh, iykyk)
"Oh, don't be so formal now. Call me Evelyn." She smiled, walking over to me with a smile and hugging me, then greeting Sap.
Benny was on his phone, and the dad took it away before walking over to me.
"I'm Clays dad, Kristn. Great to meet you Y/N."
"Great to meet you too." I shook his hand.
"Brick, don't be a brick and go greet her."
"No, the other one left you too, why should she be any different." He yell-whispered. Clay gave him a flick.
"Bennet." (I'm playing too much genshin istfg)
"What? It's true."
Bennet was 11, and I didn't blame him for not liking me. It's understandable that he wouldn't want his brother getting another girlfriend after the last relationship didn't work.
"Bennet!" Evelyn said strictly. "I am so sorry Y/N. Puberty, you know." She smiled at me.
"Oh no, it's no problem. Could you guys excuse me for a second?" I asked, and they nodded.
When I came back I had the gifts in my hands, handing it to everyone except for Bennet.
"Oh Y/N how nice of you! We didn't get you anything-" Kristn said.
"No worries." I smiled.
"That's what you get for being and Asshole, Brick." Drista said, sticking her tongue out.
"Whatever! I don't need a gift. I bet she bought it with Clays money anyway!"
I giggled, and before Kristn or Evelyn could say something I said "It was later with my own money."
"Which you made off of Clays fame." He whispered under his breath.
"Bennet. I was the one who recommended her streaming." Clay said.
"Doesn't mean she became popular all alone like you." Bennet crossed his arms.
Evelyn interrupted. "Did you three make all this food?"
"We just helped out, Y/N Did most the work." Sapnap said.
"Oh, so you're a talented cook too? That's some great wife material." Kristn joked and we laughed a bit.

Cornucopia of Hope
The graduating class of Hope's Peak Academy has been kidnapped sometime after their graduation ceremony. They wake up in a beautiful, plush mansion with no idea where they could be other than the name Our Mansion of Plenty. The physical barriers of steel plates and locked doors might not be enough to cage them, if it weren't for the malicious mechanical fairy calling itself The Fey and ruling their new lives with an iron--albeit tiny--fist. While being kidnapped is bad enough, the fact that this fairy brat is telling them to kill each other is definitely worse. Apparently, murdering one of your fellow victims is the only way to get out of this luxurious mansion. But nobody would do that...right? Cornucopia of Hope is a non-canon killing game completely alienated from the the canon universe of the Danganronpa games. The things borrowed from the games are as followed: Hope's Peak Academy, and the structure of 16ish hyper-skilled teenagers trapped in an enclosed space and being subjected to a motive, a murder, an investigation, a trial, and an execution of the presumed killer. There are no spoilers, tie ins, or previous knowledge required of the series to read this story!

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
